Dude massive props to Gavin, he was drafting on a quick timer, answering questions, adding little facts as he would receive packs, and explaining his reasonings for his picks. His composure handling all that was very impressive.
Gavin is a gem. He deserves Rosewater's position when he eventually steps down. Honestly, no one else at Wizards is as passionate as Gavin
What ??? The dude blew the whole draft apart ? It is a chaos draft, not an intro into drafting ?? He caused major hate drafting and gave the others sitting next to him info they should not have. Worst idea ever!
@TheAmateurDesperado point taken... However this was one bad idea and it was just awkward to see the look on the other drafters faces. Gavin has a bit of a god complex brewing or it was just ego talking or just a silly idea and no one stopped him. I get it he has passion....

Bro its a fucking live show, it's a bit of fun not a serious tournament.
He added some great colour commentary and a little bit of fun draft I do about each set.
@CheckOutMyPokemons Sure sure... He did help out the new players... But for those of us that draft and love Chaos, imagine if he just shut his yapper and allowed us to watch like a normal draft. OR maybe he should have waited until AFTEE the draft portion then commented on his build.... Just saying it was legit odd and almost egotistical...

Agreed. From what I pieced together about Kibler’s deck, he was on Blinding Souleater, Spellbound Dragon, Quicksilver Dagger, Fable and… Ogre Sentry? Not much to go on, lol
So were any of these games recorded or at least reported on? Would love to see how it ended up
I'd like to see the games - - draft is a lotta fun, but it's such a tease to never get to see ANY of the games from this chaos draft (as low power as chaos can be)

A great lineup but the best part is just watching Gavin try to fit his narration into the time.
Very cool to see the creator of Mystery Booster navigate a chaos draft! Also, as one of the few people roughly as invested in chaos draft as Gavin, I was surprised to see some decisions I disagreed with!
I think I'd lean Angel of Mercy over Crossbow Infantry and I'd very likely pair my Davriel with Vendetta, but above all, I'd open the Mirrodin pack last! Staying open by opening it first is nice, but I think maximizing your chances to play a bomb you open in pack 3 is even better!

Where’s the game?
The odds of even being able to open the same rare in two of three random packs from different sets is so low let alone actually opening the same rare that the double Stormbind is just so silly. Like having two of the same rare from different sets opened at a table with all packs from different sets, happens seldom enough, but the same player opening both, especially when its only ever been printed twice is just nutty. Let alone that its a chaos draft bomb and he passed it twice in different directions is just too perfect. Like I really wish I was smart enough to do the math on this but omg.

There's no point in rare drafting the set, as it's winner-takes-all.
Chrome Mox isn't that good in these sort of formats
