The last time I checked the Constitution does not mention Education, a department of Education nor a Secretary of Education. Therefore a Federal Department of Education is NOT Constitutional and should be abolished. In accordance with Constitutional practices Education should be left to the states.
Alot of agencies should be dissolved.
I agree. My only concern is what about students with disabilities? How do they receive the care they need in schools? And what if they move? Will the services at one school be as good in another?
@@brentgray5834as far as kids with disabilities it's the parents responsibility to ensure that the area they are moving to is what is needed for their child. Parents are responsible for their children, not any government agency.

The department of indoctrination. In 1980, President Regan asked Bill Bennet to evaluate the public school system. After an exhaustive review his recommendation was to abolish the entire thing at the federal level and let each state handle it.
He knows but will never say it out loud in public.

Living in NorCal. Removed my child from public middle school 3+ years ago. Best decision ever. Highly recommend acton academies and charter schools. Also homeschool hubs. Literally anything is better than public school death cult indoctrination.

New rule. Everytime those cabinet secretaries filibuster their questions, it deducts from their department’s budget. We know it is plan to not go on record answering controversial questions.
As for the department of education, you cannot plan to accommodate the world’s children in US schools when there is a language barrier. That alone is a major problem with this.
