Yes, very good. I started making my own web pages way way back in 2002. I used several hosting companies. All seem to be getting very expensive from the 2nd year. Just bought 2 domains - total £20 UK All the hosting I need is free! and yes, it works well, can be submitted easily, and last but not least appears in Search Engines well after about 3 weeks.
You are helping me to finish the website I started a few months ago. I don't need a professional designer with their own domain since I already bought one and maintain it with the ever-all-purpose Google.

1) You can see the magnifying glass on the published site. It does not appear in the edit view. 2) It comes already with the default site. It works like headers and footers on Google Docs. Click on the bottom part to edit it. 3) Since the search function only searches within the site, I don't think they're necessary. If you're talking about keywords for SEO, I don't believe it's possible to do that with Sites.
