- A train in the Hot Wheels line-up? It hasn't been seen since the 2007 Holiday Hot Rods but let's take a look at a few from the past.

The green Power Rocket had a metal base and it was also found with a silver metal base which is definitely really really rare!
I'm sure I have the Mega Graphics piece too. You mentioned the White Ice series. My daughter and I enjoyed collecting that series! We had a hard time finding the Shadow Jet!
Thanks for the appreciation. I often get people wanting me to make a video of my complete collection. I couldn't fit it into one video! Besides, what's the point? If they want to see pictures of cars, just peruse eBay. For videos, I believe that it is all about the story and bringing out older stuff in my collection helps me fill the story and give it depth.

I seen the Ferrari pack but I didn't realize that they were doing the Stunt/Showroom segmenting with the 5-packs just like the singles. I will take another look.

No, I have been opening Treasure Hunts for a long time and I have a box of loose Treasure Hunts that I keep in plastic protectors.

I have a charity shop collect Thomas toys for me and in the mix is often the Hot Wheels trains from a while back. They always create a fair bit of comment and I tend to give these away to someone who is a collector of these.
The much sort after ones are those late 70's era Matchbox trains, wow they really cause excitement when I have some of those up for offer.

the car that is showed on that card i have that type of car when i was 3 that was my 6 hot wheels as a kid i am not jokeing that was my faverite type of hot wheels i keeped it inside the packege but when i opened it as a kid and then i invited some of my friendes over so that then we can play hot wheels on the first track set that i got but then when my friendes left i did not know that they stalled my red hot wheels car but was mad but i stillcollectthem thankyou for bringingbackmy childhood: )
I am always amazed by your extensive collection, and the way you bring out the appropriate cars. I have a tiny, tiny fraction compared to your collection and I still can't find the cars I need for display!

I see what you mean about the front of the Rail Rodder. As for Final Runs, I doubt they will ever be done again. Many believe that it is better to let models fade away and keep the possibility open in case they want to re-release them again.
I like how they do the new five packs for 2013 that include the segmenting. Stunt, Showroom (Ferrari five pack back with new vehicles!), I haven't seen racing five packs yet, but still, nice and convenient!

I got one when I was not collecting, now u bring back the rail rodder I am going to try and collect it.... Also I still have my collector card that I now know where it came from

Oh boy. You mentioned that the not-chrome 5-pack is very hard to find. When I was a kid I actually ended up having both of these five packs, chrome and not chrome. Maybe my parents still have the loose cars?

Awesome video Mark!! Did you know that if you look at the front of the Rail Rodder it looks like a skull/knight helmet? Thought that was pretty cool. Oh and what ever happened to final runs? Haven't seen those in a while.

I bought this 5-pack but then the Turbo Flame wheels got messed up while i was trying to make it roll straight cause sometimes you have a hot wheels out and it's curving when you don't want it to when rolling but the ones i have that still roll fine from the pack are Rail Rodder, Baby Boomer, and Fright Bike (if i can find it lol :) )

ive noticed that the rail rodder has this kind of upside down hitch on the back, is there anything specific that its supposed to hook up to? like a tender or other train cars? i have the wild things rail rodder and regular hotwheels/matchbox trailers dont work since the hitch is upside down
