Oh, cool. You found the Inglenook shunt game; it is fun and challenging. It's also a good starting point if you want to make a permanent layout, but don't "quite" have the space for something the size of a table. I built a shelf mounted N scale version using some scrap floorboard measuring about 8"x48". With HO, you could probably do 12"x72" (1ftx6ft) with no problems and mount it to a free wall. While this is a pure switching layout, (no loop for the trains to run around), It's still fun to operate and gives you an excuse to leave your trains out.
And if Inglenook proves to be not much of a challenge, then I recommend looking up "The Timesaver" Switching puzzle. :D

UP SD60M wakes up as soon as NS ES44AC pulls out. UP SD60M didn't even realize that NS ES44AC is stealing his grain hoppers. Then UP SD60M chases NS ES44AC, telling him to give his grain hoppers back and connects to his hoppers, and gets pulled along with an intermodal set behind him. Much later, UP SD60M is now between the CSX coal hopper and the CN boxcar. NS ES44AC and UP SD60M return the train cars after a long run.

Be careful with surges in the track like that. I had that happen to me and I ended up replacing my locomotive about four times
I actually have 2 Autorack cars a CSX Autorack with yellow, and a Santa Fe Autorack with Brown, on the Santa Fe I have you can see through it like cars would be seen like the real life ones and others not sence.
Hopefully you get to start going on a proper train layout for all you're trains!

I have the same problem with my Rivet Counter autoracks, they look great but they don't roll as good as my Walthers autoracks.
