This one actually brought tears to my eyes lol I had the carbon copy 1971 Caprice only mine was the two-door the same color same interior same hubcap with the skirts and that 400 The only thing I ever had a problem with was the starter they liked to get heat soaked after a long run in very slow starting if you try to get right back in it and mine was a four barrel not the two barrel
What I love about that car it looks just like my father's 1972 or 71 Pontiac Grandville if I ever could find one of those that would be the car I would build I want to look through my photos and see if I can find one

Nice Caprice, not a lot of options on this car but it is in very nice shape. It is an earlier production 71 before they removed the vent flow thru setup - notice the louvres on the trunk lid.
The 4 doors are what the gangsters used to mob in back in the day. That mf clean. I would probably suicide the doors, squat it, and throw dumb slap in the trunk
totally beautiful, i would keep it all original give the engine a tuneup and repaint engine, the car is stunning, i have an all original 72 lincoln continental triple black with 63,000 miles was in my family since new, 100% original, except for new white wall tires and exaust and normal parts, they are only original one time, but beautiful caprice my friend

On GM car if you crank it up in the belt is squealing like that you back off and let it idle for 2 minutes then throttle if there's no squeal then proceed to drive as long as you want every time you start the car you have to let it idle for 2 minutes even have your foot on the brake and put it in drives you want the motor spinning as slow as possible once they are alternator charging kicks on it will stop squealing you do not rev the engine you're destroying the belt by doing that. That's why the last belt got destroyed
