This wonderful Belgian family house was once the home of an elderly couple: Mr. Henri and Mrs. Norva. These people earned their costs as landlords, leasing their grounds to tenants. In their leisure time, they fancied horse-riding and it seems they were involved in agriculture. Besides, these people were of a strong religious roman-catholic belief. There are signs and religious artifacts everywhere throughout their home. They reached the wonderful age of almost 100 years old. They were happily in loved and married, yet sadly enough, a few years ago Mrs. Norva passed away. A couple years later, also Mr. Henri departed this earth. Ever since, their home is gloomily left neglected and sadly nobody is looking after it anymore and it's frozen in time.

This episode made me cry more than any other episode I’ve seen so far. To think that couple lived for so long, had such a full life, only to have their home and belongings neglected and forgotten. I actually texted my oldest daughter (she’s the one who told me about your videos over a month ago) and asked her to please not let that happen to our home and belongings. She said she won’t lol
Thank you so much for doing what you do. It’s as though you are helping the memories of these people live on. I just love your videos!

This couple seemed to have a very loving and caring life. It made me especially sad when I seen the walker in the kitchen. They must of had a pet because I saw a pet toy next to the Jerusalem dish and a bowl on the floor in the kitchen. I think they hung the light under the stairs to light them up to see the steps better. I imagined it on lighting up the staircase. Another Wonderful Explore ♥️

Its a shame as you put it that this gorgeous home is not turned into a BNB for a single man as myself to rent as is to come from america, I would actually clean, paint, mow the lawn and chip in to help preserve their home.

What a wonderful beautiful old home once filled with the sounds of laughter, love, and sadness.left to rot because there child or children did not care enough..the storage room here in the USA off the kitchen is called a pantry where u store your food or things u don't use everyday and don't want out on your counter..there were some beautiful old things worth lots of money to an antique dealer.. gorgeous stuff. I myself loved that rose under glass .it's worth a ton..I love how u paint a picture of what they might have done in the past with a particular object..you are always so sensitive and caring of what is left behind..the rooms ring of silence now with there passing where once the rooms rang of lives well lived..God bless, stay safe .

My grandchildren live in the Czech Republic and my grandson is always laughing at me because of the way I pronounce some Czech words. I am one who loves to hear other people try to speak English. I’d never make fun of someone who’s trying. It’s actually quite beautiful I think and so are your videos. I hope you don’t run into anything more dangerous than snakes ! 😱
Thank you for your HARD WORK and your beautiful spirit regarding the respect you give to these homes that were once loved by those that lived in them! You have an incredible passionate way of engaging yourself into the lives of the people that lived there.
Keep us intrigued and “addicted” to your videos with many more!

Thank you for another Ex guided tour. What a beautiful home. So sad to see it just left to decay, unused and forgotten. If people left a will and donated to charity (with the exception to personal effects like photos etc.) then someone could benefit from them at least.

The mirror in the entry hall is made from a yoke. It goes around a working horse's neck. We have them in the U.S. too. Love you guys!

What a beautiful story, told with such love. The furniture was was amazing, the Citroen, everything, so sad it is just left to deteriorate with time.
