Once a vivid home, deserted today. Where the former occupants of this home, the Rekazzi family, went remains a mystery to us. Somewhere in Belgium, we discover their home and it is a true time capsule. Following the last calendar date, we believe the house was last occupied in 2014. It has been left behind for 7 years and some rooms seem to have been touched only by nature during that long period. Mr. and Mrs. Rekazzi had a daughter, Vanessa, and inside we find her diary in which she wrote down her courses of the day. She was in love, with a boy named Thomas, and it's wonderful to be able to follow her in her train of thought in this. Now the question that emerges is: Why did Vanessa never retrieved her parents' belongings including those of herself?

I love the respect you have for the things you explore and honoring the families... but your voice is sooo calming. I’m from the U.S in the country, often people talk loud around here. So to hear a soft calming voice is very nice. Also the accent 👌. Subbed from watching the video you did of the painter. Keep up the amazing exploring for us all to enjoy, stay safe boys

I wonder if they went back to their homeland and were possibly denied entry back or perhaps something terrible happened to them. I know this sounds awful - but perhaps a car or plane accident of their family? This seems very unusual that the houseplants would also be left to die. If they planned on not returning for some time they would have left the houseplants with someone. If they never planned on returning - they would have at least taken their precious family photos.

Hello Maureno and Remon! The house was cozy and comfortable home for the family. Sometimes I am thinking of the owners left everything abandoned for some accident happens to them. And the vandals did tossed the items of their place. Thank you for sharing your exploration in Belgium. Please stay safe and hugs to you and Remon 👋🇺🇸👍💖😘😷😽

Beautiful guys!! Really another nice Arabian home with such lovely antiques and furnishings, loved that fire guard! Belgium is a safe country and it didn’t surprise me that so many places you visit are just untouched by vandalism thankfully.
Some rooms look like you could just come in and sit down and eat dinner or watch TV, others just collapse and overgrown. Seems strange fate like that but there is so much randomness in life. Thanks guys, been feeling a bit under the weather the last couple of days so it really refreshed me to see this notification of a new video you guys posted! Thanks so much and hope you stay well 🙏👋👍

I've seen this location before but yours is so fully thorough. I love the details because that's what brings the history of the former occupants 'alive'. These detailed videos is what makes your videos so unique and special. Of course, info about the families that once lived in these abandoned homes are the, as we say, "the frosting on the cake". Any info that is shared about the location or the occupants takes us on a time travel journey and is so very interesting. Thank you and i appreciate the time, devotion, care and the sharing of all your splendid presentations...Be safe...

Being thorough and spending time on details, figuring out the story of such homes, etc... is also the part which makes it very interesting for us as an explorer! These were not just houses, these were once homes, and each place has its unique story behind it, and that’s what we love to research. Those people were very rich back in time. Maybe Mr.Rekazzi was a doctor? But I think there is a sad story behind. Mr.Rekazzi and his wife were old and passed away years ago. Something tells me that their daughter Vanessa is not between us too, maybe some tragic accident. This could be the reason why the property was left behind with everything inside. Even Vanessa's personal diary, things like this are never left behind in other cases.
Anyway, it is a big shame that the house was /repeatedly/ visited by looters, and everything what was valuable and easy to take and easy to sell, was stolen e.g. electronics.

Thank you for the very beautiful, impressive, respectful and honest video. This is the way abandoned houses should be visited. That's how we (my wife and I) also do that in Sweden. From your video I gather that this was a stable, developed and happy family and such families will never leave and never come back. So an accident seems the most obvious explanation. The last calendar dated from 2014 and in that year on July 17, Malaysia Airways flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down. On board were 5 Belgians and a woman of Dutch and Belgian nationality. In the plane crash in the east of Ukraine, three members of the same family from the Antwerp municipality of Brasschaat were killed.
I do not know where this beautiful object is and it is also better to keep the location secret, but maybe my information will help you.

I think this one had to have bern filmed quite a bit earlier than Bros of Decay’s, though, based on condition, where things were located in each video, etc. Its particularly evident in the kitchen. Those clowns are hanging together in this video and quite covered in cobwebs whereas, in the Bros video, they have been separated and not a cobweb in sight. And the kitchen clock was very clean in the Bros video, but in this one it has massive cobwebs and what look like spider eggsacks on it. There are also things shown in this video that are missing from the other one in the beautiful den.

Those collectible plates in the dinning room are expensive. And some of those antique furniture pieces can be salvaged.

Hi Maureno, dear friend, What a wonderful video about this cozy house! I loved seeing this nearly untouched living room with all these interesting
artefacts and souvenirs from different countries. - I think the former inhabitants loved travelling. - It was once more wonderful to listen
to your introductional narration. - You also have a talent in focussing on a lot of smaller every day items and giving the location again some
kind of new life back through your sensitive comment and your very respectful approach to the probable life of the former owners of this house.
This was indeed an amazing explore, which I enjoyed very much watching! - I only want to familiarize you with a very interesting observation.
Your dear friend Lesley from BoD just uploaded a video about exactly the same location only a few days before you, but - and this is the
point I want to get to - with very different background information. - However I enjoyed watching your video of course absolutely as much
as the version of Lesley. - Wishing you all the best, stay safe and take care, dear bro. - I am looking forward to your next explore adventure.
Lots of blessings, peace and much love from windy and very rainy Switzerland. - Kindest regards. - Greetings also to Remon.

You know when you guys go in these houses and castles and see window and doors open you really should close them to preserve the property and belongings in side.it drives me crazy to see you walk by them and leave them open to destroy the property.

      Yes! Yes! Regina,
I have to defend these guys. They usually do close windows and doors they just don’t always film it to not take up video time. On this one I do think the glass was actually broken.
