His voice is so soothing.... Anyone else? No? Just me? Ok lol
I honestly wish whoever owns the property would auction off the items while they're still in good condition.. and/or donate to a museum or something. I love Victorian stuff.. D: just hate to see it going to waste unused..
I'm Roman Catholic and I have a lot of things affiliated with Jesus Christ and the Holy Family. My son once told me that I have a fedish for Jesus Christ 🙏
I can hardly contain myself from organizing each room and putting things in their places. What a great hotel that place would be.
"One, two, tree...." so adorable!! I love his accent! His accent with soft voice while story telling is so respectful and sweet. And hes not bad on the eyes either..great combo!
I own a chateau myself. They become very expensive to run and to upkeep. I looks like to me that there buisness went under and they went bankrupt. When this happens the bank or the state own it. And sometimes the state just forget about it.
The silver dust pan you found in the dining room had a brush that went with it and it was used for taking crumbs off the table cloths. It wasn't used on the floors.
Everyone I see stuff like this, I keep waiting for someone to walk in and go, “Hey a-hole, what are you doing in my summer house!!!”
I love Leslie’s voice. I wanted to tell Leslie that back in the day and even now in instances, when you saw a bedroom inside a bedroom it was because the child would sleep in their own room but the nanny would have a bed or bedroom right next to the child. You don’t think anyone else would hear and get up during the night with a crying child! That was the nanny’s job.
The reasons many chateau beds are recessed is to keep the draft off the sleeping occupant, much like beds covered in canopy's with drapes
It's my experience in these cases of the families tied up in a dispute and no one can touch anything till that's settled which sometimes takes years...
I love your respectful nature. How you ensure to protect all these incredible places by not damaging anything I’ve watched you guys for so long. Youre number 1 on my abandoned homes guys. Love you all
The editor of this video needs to use his voice to tell stories all over the world I Love it.
The brass hanging bells in the end of the video are the bells to call the staff from various rooms. Each bell has its unique tone which tells the staff where they are needed.
That was one of the most amazing homes I’ve seen yet. You could just hear the kids running through it while the women were busy doing things and men were on meetings. Then their special occasions the place all lit up and listening to music !! Loved that one so much Thank you for sharing :)
You truly have a natural gift for narration. Your admiration and appreciation for all things of historical value is contagious. Your voice and command of the English language is comforting, engaging and beautiful. Thank you for showing this particular property. It was breathtaking from beginning to end. Thank you.
Lesley - your voice is pure chocolate: smooth, calm, friendly, sincere, engaging and just you! A young man with a great future ahead of you.
The beautiful cabinet in the dining room is made of inlaid wood, it is different pieces of different colors in order to make the design. It takes a long time and is very painstakingly difficult to do. I just love it. Thank you for all your hard work.
The furniture needs rescued and repurposed . Such magnificent architecture and master craftmanship with furniture building and design. Hopefully it can be rescued! Thank you for sharing all the beauty there.
Yes! Soothing voice, sensitive and loves history! Love these presentations! Its like I was there with them. I love his excitement over the French stove, fridge that still worked and throne! Gorgeous furniture, art and, yes, curtains! Thank you and your cameraman.
