There's a lot to like about this game, mainly the great cel-shaded 3D that looks very much like an actual episode of the Simpsons. The cut-scenes look almost exactly like a Simpsons episode, and the voice acting is superb (obviously, since all the original voices are used). The game has a good amount of humor as well, considering it's a Simpsons game. There are even some very obscure jokes for superfans (in one level there are some solid gold "dogs with bees in their mouths, so when they bark they shoot bees at you" ).
Unfortunately, that doesn't necessarily make up for the gameplay, which cannot fairly be called anything but boring. Even the traditional side-scrolling platformer format can be fun (see The New Super Mario Bros), but in the Simpsons game it seems they just copied and pasted a bunch of terrain and bad guys and left it at that. The most exciting moments are where the cooperative play (you switch off between Simpsons family members, each with different abilities) is used to its fullest potential. Of course, even that is overused and becomes tedious.

I like the DS version better so if it's possible to have that version on ps5 also then that would be cool. Anyway I would love a whole collection (like the TMNT cowabunga collection) for the Simpsons made. Also if it's possible to have both remasters for all games and remakes for certain games - hit and run, the Simpsons game, and road rage that would be awesome. In total the simpsons games that definitely need to be on there are the Simpsons game, hit and run, road rage, the arcade game, etc. They can exclude like 3 games - tapped out, Lego dimensions, & cartoon studio. That would be like 21 games (not forgetting about the console ports so more) on one disc and probably 16gb not more than 50gb🤷‍♀️. Someone needs to get Konami, the designers, publishers/developers, reubs from YT, and copyright permission or whatever on this

Aber mega unverständlich, dass die DS Version hier in Deutschland ab 6 Jahren von der FSK zugelassen wurde während die Konsolenversionen erst ab 12 Jahren erlaubt war. Dabei ist die DS Version in anderen Ländern auch erst ab 12 Jahren erlaubt und ist von der Wortwahl und von dem Humor kaum anders als die Konsolenversion.
