- Did you ever play The Simpsons Game? You either loved or hated this game growing up. Today, we decided to go for all Xbox 360 Achievements in The Simpsons world.
We have some hilarious moments, some semi difficult Achievements and a great time reminiscing on the old Simpsons Episodes with the incredible storytelling.

It’s interesting to see how this version differs from the DS version that I grew up with (some of the cutscenes seem more extended etc)
It is definitely interesting. I played it on the PS2 and there were also some slight changes.
like the Truck escort mision from the war level wasn´t in my version. then in the japanese level there weren´t these turn based battles. and the last change I noticed, was in the matt groening boss fight, where in the ps2 version it was only a small room.
I had both and the games were very different
the whole treehouse of horror segment was turned to minigames aside from shadow of the colossal donut. and medal of homer and grand theft scratchy were completely cut. and there was more of a level to the creator level.
I had the DS, PS2 and 360 versions, the DS is most different and the PS2 one didnt have the open Springfield to explore like the 360 one. I did love the 360 and DS versions so much tho despite being so different and completed them both so many times lol
The psp one doesn’t let you free roam the city and has weird perspective lock
This game was always my go to when I’d be off school sick, lying on the couch eating crap and playing this, and at 25 I still do that 😂 so much nostalgia, I’m off to boot it up now 😁

Apparently Rockstar wanted the grand theft scratchy to be removed since they were showing off Grand Theft Auto 4 at E3 the same time as the Simpsons game

A stable for the childhood collection! It's not the Simpsons Hit N' Run but it's just as good in its own right! The humour is top tier in this game!
I swear this is a top tier game, i miss this types of games. I used to just walk around springfield looking for those collectables

The hardest achievement for me to get was the Rock You Like A Hurricane segment with zero mistakes.
I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do it, and left it unfinished for six years. This year after picking it back up for a Simpsons Marathon, I accidently did it by mistake, and immediately wondered why I had so much trouble before.
I thought I'd have more trouble with the achievement to be honest.
Wow! So happy you went back to it and got it done. I wondered the same. It definitely seems daunting, but in the end it's not that bad. Just some trial and error I guess! 🤷
I was able to finish the game with that segment 3 times
@@gerardoramon9270 glad it wasn’t so rough for you man I never was good at Guitar Hero or DDR and I think being younger kinda makes those situations harder than they need to be.
I can beat hot laps in CTR with zero effort and full blue fire no problem, but for some reason can’t focus enough to move in two directions at the exact same time. It figures.

3:32 Trivia: The line spoken is a homage to Batman(1989) that had a similar line in the scene where Bruce Wayne's parents, are murdered, spoken by the killer.
I knew it was from Batman Begins but didn't know it was that scene, so cool! Shows that they took time with the writing. 🥲

By far my most favourite game as a kid but as a child I could never beat the super happy funtime level so it's nice to live vicariously through someone, I'd love to get my hands on it again

In the cutscene meeting the pixelated Simpsons, Lisa's prediction about the PlayStation 4 was actually true. No wonder why people say The Simpsons predicted the future, even though some of it was true and most of it wasn't.
It's so bizarre how accurate they are with some of their predictions though... 😳

Just want to say this was an amazing video bro! I never managed to pass the chocolate level on my DS so it was cool to see how the whole game comes together! Sucks that some footage was corrupt but you sorted it perfectly and this is probably one of the best achievement videos I've watched in a while! Keep em coming man!

Brilliant game. I’m 23 and remember this and hit and run being the best two Simpsons games. Simpsons skateboarding was janky and annoyingly slow to move around and do tricks.
I liked how Ben Franklin mentioned him being in thug2.

I honestly loved this game as a teenager and I loved the animated parts, both the 2D and 3D. I really wish this would get ported, but nah, copyright laws are a shit and a half so I doubt it will ever see a rerelease.

What about the Alien spaceship boss fight level? It ends with a revelation that Sideshow Bob was in cahoots with Kang & Kodos and he gets defeated by stepping on a rake. I had the PSP version which didn’t have free roaming, but everything else you showed looked almost exactly like what I played through except for that glaring omission.

Unfortunately I left it out, just because it wasn't the most interesting level, even though the cutscene was hilarious! When editing I was worrying about the length of the video, and didn't want it to be any longer. Since how well the video has done, I'll keep this in mind for future videos. 🙂
3:04 he really had a DISCORD belt
Bart shooting a pine cone through the sawmill to hit the weak spot which then caused it to blow up reminded me of how Luke Skywalker blew up the 1st Death Star in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, except Luke fired proton torpedoes to hit/go inside the exhaust port, setting off a chain reaction which then led to the big **KABOOM!** Also, the thumbs-up at 11:58 was a reference to T2: Judgement Day ;)

I randomly got this in my recommended after watching a bunch of people getting platinum trophies so it's nice to see this game personally I only played the DS version and I might replay it thanks to this lol

The Simpsons Game was my favourite game to play on the PS2 and I'd never heard of Simpsons Hit And Run until maybe 2 years ago or something. I got stuck on the level with the dolphins from that one Treehouse of Horror section.

In my opinion, the lengthier, the better! There's always either a goofy moment or an epic one, or even just normal gameplay that shows us just the game being played or learned rather than just the challenge bits. 😊

❤Hit and Run! ❤ Played it to death, back in the day. Easily, an all time favourite. It tops my list with Jet Set Radio Future and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.

@@MICHEALKARLIS Jet Set Radio was released before Jet Set Radio Future, and it shows. It's not as polished as JSRF. At least that's my opinion.

This game was my first exposure to the Simpsons back in 2008 when I got it alongside my PSP at around 7-8 years old. I've played it on other consoles since then, but the Xbox 360 version will always be the best. :-)

I remember this game as a kid, I played both the ps2 and Xbox 360 versions. Major difference. The ps2 didn’t have the defend truck park in Medal of Homer.
I did hear this, I never realised growing up. All seemed the same haha.
I probably played the PSP version the most, so I would've definitely missed out on heaps of content that's on the console versions.
@@MICHEALKARLIS me too! Especially Harry Potter Chamber of secrets for Ps2 and OG Xbox, in the Ps2 the grounds is open world vs OG Xbox the grounds have a sorta fast travel thing.

Still playing through Simpsons Hit and Run, I also own The Simpsons Game. But, oddly enough the 3D graphics from Hit and Run seem to have aged better than the attempt at cell shading in The Simpsons Game. Probably because it was made to span two generations of consoles. So they couldn't really push the graphics in the HD versions. Also that awkward mostly empty open world hub that is Springfield just feels like such a waste.
Completely agree! I still have fond memories of the Simpsons Hit N' Run, it definitely holds up still! The hub world for The Simpsons Game didn't have the charm like Hit N' Run did. 😪

I got the Wii version of the game when I was a kid and I was surprised there was some changes from it compared to PS or Xbox versions.

Funny how simpsons predicted their own game getting forgotten, in the scene where you save the 8 bit simpsons Lisa mentions soon this game will be forgotten and I guess it’s true since hit and run gets all the attention and this specific simpsons game is considered “forgotten”
I never forgpt about this game. I remember watching videos about it as a kid, and wanting the game so bad. But I still haven't gotten to play it! It's even been taunting me on the ps3 store, but it's not available to be bought???? Hopefully I'll be able to try it out someday

Truly shows the game wants u to replay story seeing as all collectibles basically make u unstoppable with infinite energy making speed achievements alot easier *cough* homer slam op *cough*
At the start I thought it would be a lot of copy and repaste, but I was pleasantly surprised! The time trials were actually fun, challenging but great for those completionists! 🏆

I wish we could get more GOOD tv show games like South Park or the Simpson’s. It’s always nice to have a fun, goofy game to break from the mostly serious toned games released.
Completely agree! So thankful South Park have worked on a new game. Even though it's mainly Multiplayer, it's still cool. Hopefully both Simpsons/Family Guy will follow and bring something out in the new year. 🤞
I loved this game as a kid i beat it multiple times it's such a good game, might play it again eventually
