  • Today I review the Simpsons game named The Simpsons Game. The Simpsons Game is one of the less talked about Simpsons games, with Simpsons games like The Simpsons: Hit & Run and The Simpsons: Tapped Out often taking the limelight from The Simpsons Game. For this reason, the Simpsons game The Simpsons Game is the topic of this video.

Almost all versions have unique features as well. The ps2 version compared to the PS3 for example. Ps2 version is scaled down and cut the open world spring field. Instead of the open Springfield there’s a smaller hub within the simpsons house. The alien invasion is depicted in the ps2 by going in the backyard and watching all the aliens, dolphins and Lard Lad destroying the city. Where as in the ps3 version the open world just periodically spawns aliens. The level five characters in search of an author is completely different in the ps2 compared to the ps3.

I had hit and run, road rage and the Simpsons game as a kid. I played hit and run a little but got bored fast. The Simpsons game however? I ADORED it. Absolutely wholeheartedly love that game. It's liquid nostalgia for me now. My only complaint for it now is that the controls don't hold up at all and when you're used to an upped sensitivity Xbox one controller, dropping back down to an Xbox 360 with bad controls when I replay it.
I genuinely had no clue people didn't like it since it's so loved in my house

Your profile pic reminds me of the Futurama game too. I can hardly remember that game. Except the characters had blasters and there was a transition image between cutscenes that read ‘tricurious?’ and had a man, woman & alien in bed together.
      Weird game lol.

I appreciate this video because it was one of my favorite games as a kid. Something about it just felt lovable and special even though it was clearly far from perfect, or as polished as many other games. I remember just wanting to play the Medal of Homer level over and over just to run and fly around that map as Bart. I remember even preaching about the game to kids at school lol. Of course they didn’t listen. You can’t explain to someone why you like playing this game , they just have to experience it themselves

My mom gave this game to me for Christmas several years ago around the time it first came out and I loved every bit of it. It made it more fun when I was rewatching older Simpsons after beating the game and recognizing the references the game made to the show. It was definitely one of my favorite games as a kid/preteen.

This was one of the first games i had for PS3 growing up. I got it with my PS3 even. I absolutely loved the game. It was my first Simpsons game as well. I played the multiplayer with my sister and we had a blast. We even got so good at the game we beat it from start to finish in just 1 day! That was a huge accomplishment when we were kids lol

I remember playing this on my psp back in the day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the visuals, the simple arcade-y beat up gameplay - it's just one of those games where you play when you're bored or just want to switch your brain off for me. Didn't even realized there are next gen versions until this video.

I loved this game as a kid! I had the ps3 and psp versions, as well as having a friend with the ds edition. Each version played so uniquely it was fascinating to me. I loved wandering around in the worlds and I think I went for 100%, though I never got it. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
