I paid the $10 for Conform Object because it is exactly what I need to finish my project. I didn't know much at first but I'm learning and like you say the lattice operator is really great.
Bonus tip - you can apply simple form to the grid to avoid those "artifacts" on sides where the mesh is stretched. Thus, you will conform an object smoother and faster)

Hi I'm trying to wrap a detail object around a ring shape object (created with a cylinder) but the conform object is not functioning properly even though I added enough subdivisions. Is there anyway you can help me with this?
Does it work on animated meshes that were imported? Like a dress on a walking avatar animation.
Once the Conform Object menu is gone (as soon as we do any other action) isn't there a way to get it back later to eventually modify how it's conformed ?
Does the conform tool effect geometry count? Like, does it add polys to achieve this?

Is this addon still so good or did shrinkwrap become better these days. I used to have it but wonder if it is still worth it to install it...
does anyone know why the objets can get a lot poly look? it does nos look smmooth for me

There don't seem to be any options either. I'm trying to conform a side vent cover on a Jaguar that I've made to the 3d scanned surface of the fender of the Jag. How do you bring up that panel menu?

There is a way to get the menu back, I did know it before, I have just forgotten it.
QUick question -- how well would this work for adding labels to bottles, cans and the such. If not, what would you recommend? Fantastic video, as usual -- you're quickly becoming my first stop for addon info!

If we've already bought this, do you know by chance if there is an updated version of it we can download from the page or some other place?
I purchased mine via Blendermarket and was able to download the latest and install it, works great.
As far as I know if you bought it on Blender Market you can download the new version
