All of our men are voluntary, whereas most of the other countries force men and women to serve. That is the difference between the some of the countries. If you have to be forced into it they might not do their best especially if they don't want to be there. The US Motto is to protect and to serve and I am so proud of them for it.
The reason why we have 11 main aircraft carriers because it dictated by law and there is usually one Carrier in dry dock. Being refited so there will always be 10 carriers ready. The same goes for the amphibious carriers. US doctrine states the US needs to able to fight 2 wars at once.
Ok thank you for the comment
I served on 4 Supercarriors. You are correct. A war on two fronts. That is the difference between powerful and Superpower.
@@CombatReadyHQi live in American🇺🇸 I do have family members in the army, Marines Navy we love ❤️ our country and our freedom
@@entertainmentextremenetwor652
I don't know how free we are as a country, I believe the USA is the country with most citizens in jail/prison. We are also the country with the most laws
@@PurpleObscuration you can thank the libbies for that.
We may not have the largest numbers of active military personnel and we may be currently low in our recruitment numbers but we have about 18 million veterans. I’m one of those veterans having served in the Marine Corps infantry- all of my veteran comrades would willingly and gladly put the uniform back on in defense of our nation. Our training is some of if not the best in the world and age doesn’t diminish what’s been ingrained.
The military of the United States defends a set of values. Freedom. Democracy. Right to Property. Right to Exist and Right to Pursuit of Happiness and Prosperity. As such, having a say in the world corresponds to defending those values. It may not have been consistent all the time throughout history, but nobody's perfect. The more critically important thing is, because the America military defends a set of values, She can call on allies and with the exception of dictatorial regimes in Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, along with inconsequential ones like Eriteria, Yemen, North Korea, Myanmar, Cuba, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Burkina Faso etc., most countries do share similar values. And therein lies the true strength of the US military.
Do you have any idea of how much the military in Russia, China, and North Korea go hungry? Technology is surpreme...those numbers mean little today.
Thank you for your service. 🫡
@@frios011 it was an honor.
Yes but when governing politicians don't respect the Constitution but give you orders what is your position then? Because this Biden cabal have zero respect for YOU or the CONSTITUTION. They are now openly supporting NAZIS FFS? What do you make of that? I'm ex as well so don't think I'm anti military. I resigned because of these politicians and their puppet senior officers.
A very high percentage of the US equipment is serviceable. 77% of all aircraft are available on any given day.
Love and respect our military. Our service men and women protect our freedom every day. ❤❤❤❤❤
And we've got many more secret surprises.
Not to mention theres more guns then people in the US. If were ever invaded, the enemy would have to fight an armed military AND armed civilian population.
The 13,209 aircraft are in service, there are thousands more not in service.
You bet we are the most powerful the world has ever seen! I feel very proud to be an American! ❤
🇺🇸🇬🇧
No. We don't have the largest Army in the world in terms of numbers. You are right. China, India, North Korea hold those titles. But as you know, it's not about quantity, its about quality. That's where we, and the UK, come out on top. 🇺🇲🇬🇧.
This is referring to 2024 before it was 1,440,000 so yes, we have increased. It's now close to the same as of this year.
I kinda sorta gotta disagree, bubba. We do have the largest military. China has more boats, no ships, because they count kayaks as vessels. They have 2 million tons displacement, we have 4.6 million tons. They have ZERO sailors, we have 100% Maritime Professionals. N.K. has more tin cans that can submerge under the surface, but they have ZERO real Submarines. We have 68 Nuclear Submarines that can traverse the globe for 30 years. Russia has ZERO real soldiers, China has ZERO real soldiers, those two actually have more "clowns in costumes", India has probably half their fighting force are real soldiers and out of all of them, the only ones with any combat experience in the last 80 years are the Russians but they're only capable of fighting a war from 100 years ago with a force consisting of drug addicts, murderers, alcoholics and human trafficked conscripts.....so WE HAVE THE LARGEST MILITARY WITH THE MOST PROFESSIONAL SOLDIERS.
Wait, Army or Military??
@@Navybrat64 what is? If you're referring to active duty personnel, it's at 452,689. China's PLA has around 2 million active duty.
@@zook838 Army personnel.
We all fight here. We know how to end a fight or war through ultimate power. We are committed as a people
Just a side note , I was drafted in 69 out of college . Wound up in the paratroopers and Special Forces and National Guard all the way , call us what you want but it will be long distance. When making our last jump to qualify AirBorne I was standing on the apron waiting for the aircraft to land and pick us up all 847 in total. Three huge C- 141 jets appeared on final with long black trails of exhaust on approach to land. I ask the jump master where they came from , because most of our jumps were from C- 130 . He sad they came over from California as a training flight turn- around . That was a 2,500 mile training flight from California to Georgia . A training Flight , impressed me. My two boys and my daughter also served in the Army and are combat veterans. When my children went to war I had no fear because I knew the U.S.Army put the odds in their favor.
Good thing Britain is smart and investing more in their military. We need you to be powerful, like us.
The M1A2 SEP v3 is the latest version of the Abrams. The "SEP", or, Systems Enhancement Package is the key there. It upgrades the armor, fire control, sensors. Just about every aspect of the vehicle has been upgraded.
Thank you
It’s great knowing the country we live in, can defend us from both sides and from the air… we are the Only country that can fight two major theaters at the same time😊

The great raid movie my friend😂
We actually have 20 carriers but only 11 have fighter jets on them the other 9 have helicopters on them
Technically with the F35 all can operate fixed wing jets although this was the case with the Harrier as well.
F35Bs are flown off the helicopter carriers along with AV8Bs harriers.
Also keep an eye out for the USA’s videos of all the older military aircraft, vehicles, tanks and ships that they still maintain that are in reserved status like what is called “mothballed or retired status equipment I think you would be surprised just how much they can bring back into service.
The USA relies on the force of numbers. There are 177,000 US Marines, that's more personnel in one branch than the entire British Military of the Army, Navy, RAF and the Gurkhas.
Largest in terms of active and reserve people in service, most likely not. If the definition is active and reserve, the US probably comes in 4th, 5th, or 6th. I'd guess that China, India, and maybe North Korea is ahead of us, and Russia may be close, but I haven't looked at any numbers, or considered how many people Russia has lost in the current conflict, so they may be less than us by around half a million now. However, there are upwards of 20 million veterans and considering there are more guns in the US than there are people, you one could argue that there are over 200 million citizens in the US that are essentially armed militia. It's just that many of those people haven't ever served in the armed forces, but many of them are very well trained in their own right.
If a vehicle is not servicable and not worth it, they strip it for parts.
Ok thank you do they not have vehicles unserviceable and waiting repair?
@@CombatReadyHQ Yea, I was heavy mech engineer. We would PMCS our vehicles on monday, fix on tues and weds, train in the backyard on thurs, and clean shit friday. That was our weekly garrison schedule. We don't let vehicles sit. If they are broke we fix them. We have a killer support system of parts and mechanics.

As a 64 year old mom and grandma, I am so grateful for all that serve to keep us safe. I pray there is no war in their lifetimes but it sounds like that may be wishful thinking. I am so glad that the US and the UK are teammates!❤️
World's largest air force - US Air Force.....World's 2nd largest air force - US Navy
Don’t give away all of our secrets lol
That number seem low to me I was thinking we have more lol
@ 14:07 a large number, but we won't tell anybody.
Everything is operational
I live in American 🇺🇸 I have family in the army, Marines and Navy
All of them are servicable
China and India have more personnel but the US is not far behind but it doesn’t mean much if you don’t include training, battle experience and technology.
We have a freaking A-10 Warthog lol......come play
the enlistment time is alot faster than the UK, I think around 2 to 6 months
No one beats America
Can you react to "Militaries Ranked 2024" by The Inforgraphics Show? Im curious to see your reaction to the UK's spot on the list
As a proud American, I hope we don't have to use most of these weapons. As always we should have our ally's back and they should have ours.
Here's the scary part. Defense spending is only about three percent of our GDP. Now understand this fact, you and the rest of the western world sleep at peace at night because of our defense spending. Because of the protection provided by our military , Western European nations since the end of WW ll have prospered and allowed European nations to have the luxury of only having to pay for a small defense force. As for our support of NATO, we spend way MORE than all NATO members combined and it's not even close. To those Europeans who shake their heads and scoff at our defense spending, you should be thankful because without the U.S. and the umbrella of safety we provide, NATO countries would have to double, if not triple their defense budgets.
They are all serviceable... Most of the fighters are from 60 to 90% combat ready. The F35's were around 50% but they started production before they built out the maintenance facilities. Once they have finished that readiness will get to the 80% like the rest.
This isn't Russia, we don't count broken down garbage. If it's in service, it's combat ready or it's in maintenance scheduled to be combat ready once upgrades are complete.
As in, we just spent a few hundred billion to redo, retest, refit our entire nuclear deterance.
We have 450 F35's and currently 65% or ready for combat, but all of them will need to be retrofitted with the Block 3 upgrades. That will be 40 billion or so, and all 187 F22's are being upgraded to super Raptors while awaiting replacement with the new NGAD air superiority 6 gen fighters.and FA-XX Navy attack fighters each with autonomous drone wingman
And of course the B-21 Raiders are already 6th generation fighter bombers with air to air missels already added onto the super stealth planes.
When they become unserviceable they are sent to the boneyard
My son used to work on helicopters.
You're the best at reacting to military things, because you can criticize the video, and not just take the information as correct and move on.
The difference is the armed forces of the USA are all volunteer and India wand China are drafted
good point clark of course others have secrets. I wasn't impressed by the F35 until Isreal's recent strike; the enemy didn' t even know the F35s were there until the targets were destroyed. No doubt part was excellent Isreali intellgience but the F35 had to do the job.
When it comes to military budget spending, especially on the united states with its 800 billion plus you have to think about purchasing power and how far that buck goes. It's not as much as you think when it comes to purchasing power and just raw numbers.
The American economy generates something on the order of $25 TRILLION dollars annually.
Great video post! Yes, the US is large, but we also know the UK military, although smaller has great capability so let's go with that. The UK is as a GREAT US ally! Let's don't discount them. :)
In their high heels and makeup I'm sure they'll do just fine. This is 2024 not 1960.
I'd be a lot more impressed with that text to speech if it could pronounce numbers correctly. Fucks up some easy words here and there too.
Nothing was made of maybe the true best part- the covert stuff. From knowledge to weapons, none of the tech that we are allowed to be made aware of, is actually new, it's all decades old. The scary super secret stuff (and for good reason) is waaay under wraps. F-22's, Stealth Fighters/Bombers etc., were all virtually ready for retirement by the time the public is even aware of them. True story: I went up to the Abbotsford International Airshow in BC Canada back in the early 90's, to see the F-117 Nighthawk. Even then, when it had been widely known about for years, it was roped off with M-16 carrying guards patrolling it. (don't know what branch. Marines?) Had one of them come quickly up to me to tell me I wasn't allowed to take pictures from the back angle of the plane. I was more than willing to comply, but a higher ranking guy came up and quietly told him "No, it's ok now." So even a lot of the troops are unaware of disbursement of secrets. USA
The USAF is the largest AF in the world.
The second largest Air Force? The US Navy, including the Marines. Probably even without the Marines.
Even though India, North Korea and China has much larger armies, the pay is not as attractive as US forces. When it comes to modern warfare, the technology is more advanced and not every soldier can or know how to operate such equipment compared to US forces. Any highly educated person won't chose the military as an career. This is why China is having issues recruiting pilot to land on carriers.
China has the most personnel, India comes in second, and USA is third.
India, china , Korea armies are conscript armies..ours like yalls is all volunter..we also have the draft ,if Major War started they would reinact it..lots of 18 to 30 yr old out there..Start of ww2 we had 200 k..end of it 6 million or so..love your channel
M
India has a fully volunteer Army as well.
We have also saved the entire world in WWI and WWII. Since then we have devolved into wars fought and financed to make money for the MASSIVE military industrial complex. Wars purely for profit!
After WWII we had about 10,000,000 troops around the world and had around 38,000 military bases. Our Navy had over 3,000 ships and we had tens of thousands of aircraft!! Our military is as small now as it was before WWII and our combat readiness is very low compared to what it was during the Cold War when we were on a constant war footing.
And?
Most of American equipment is serviceable
Most us citizens in uas have guns
The US would have a crazy guerrilla force haha
Even our retired ghost fleet of navy ships is consider the second largest Navy in the world. And a lot of those ships can be refurbished and recommissioned if necessary. A lot of them have been brought out of mothball status and used during various wars and then decommissioned again.
we have already retired aircraft that are more advanced than russia and china is today. SR71, F117, EAA MERCURY EWS/SHS. RUSSIA IS A JOKE.
India & China have more personnel for sure. That was misinformation, but you know what they say, numbers aren’t everything.
Even Russia I believe had more personnel until recent, North Korea as well. You have to remember these are all forced upon citizens, whether you want it or not. America is 100% a volunteer force, we like chaos.
the US spends more on defense/military than the next 9 to 10 countries combined. people ask why and it is more simple than you think. most countries fight in their "backyards". most of the conflicts happen within a region. they dont need to spend money for the ability to traverse oceans to help and support their allies. the US has a unique geographic place. a vast ocean on both sides. its a blessing and a curse. but the biggest thing is the US needs to be able to fight in two theatres of war simultaneously like in ww2.
All the F 22s are operational. We have a problem with the F 35 the F 35 only 40% are operational. I think it’s because the United States is just pissed off with Lockheed Martin. They have a service contract on the software and it’s throwing money out the window they’re going to either sell all the Jets or rip out the software and replace it. But I think they should just have F 22s spend the money I’d rather have 400 F 22s than 222s and 435s the F 22 raptor is ridiculous. Goes into leaf motion. You can do a backflip with it how the hell you gonna shoot that thing down it’s invisible.
$883.7 billion for 2024 defense spending. The number he gave was lower. 😂
Sorry, friend across the pond.....Rule America, rule across the waves! I do have to point out that some of this original video that you are commenting on is, for a family friendly term; utter claptrap.
are you high? my friends get high.
So do you
The U.S. Navy is the 2nd largest air force in the world
The U.S. may not have the biggest military in the world, but it definitely has the most powerful. I’d rather be the most powerful.
Believe China has more of a few items... never been in Modern war ! 👍🏿👍🏽👍✌🏼🖖🍁🌻💛💙🇺🇦
This video is not very accurate and shows some equipment that is not even American.
Yes. I also saw the Mi-8 Hind. The Russian transport helicopter right before the Apache attack helicopter.
China is bigger in numbers, but that's about it. Same with India. Still no match for the quality/tech of the U.S. Also, as you may know, the U.S. military is all volunteer, as the others are "forced", or conscripts. You lose a LOT with 2 yr conscripts, who do not want to be there! The "average" for the U.S., in terms of service, range from 4 yrs to 12 years, with quite a lot going the full 20 yrs (like me/retired USAF).
Us is 3rd largest military
Yes America spends a lot on the military. Combine that with you gents across the pond, all of NATO and allies in the far east, including the thunder from down under.
By law we have to maintain 11 aircraft carriers. What's the interesting to watch with Russia going after Ukraine they do not have well coordination between the ground troops and their Air Force . Are ground troops get in trouble all they have to do is Radio the Air Force and the warthogs and other jets are on their way. I don't see that with Russia they're disconnected. North Korea can have a bunch of little freaking subs and that's exactly what they are little sub with no technology. Are Ohio class submarines all carry nuclear weapons
When it comes to nuclear weapons we need to keep them out of the hands of Iran North Korea and China these three countries do not know the meaning of restraint. I don't think they comprehend the chain reaction that will happen if they send a nuclear weapon towards the United States we will all die. I don't like Russia for many reasons but at least they're not stupid enough to use nuclear weapons
The most capable military in the history of mankind, but very poor leadership at the top!
But how do they identify. That’s all that matters.
The video you are reacting to was made by a person who does NOT have much actual knowledge about the US or other military's around the world. Just surface data.
don't forget that we the british won the training exercise twice by making them surrender lmao the most powerful military
