i’ve been doing this on a military base for almost year now, and i finally fell in the stripper. what a humbling experience
I'm glad I only have to do a kitchen. The moxey mop heads is what I use on a window washer handle system. The narrow window cleaner works well beside the refrigerator and stove. Cool video!

Also, an extra step that gave me a lot of success both with saving rinses and keeping from having to go back over extra stripper, fling some extra water on that floor after the side by side has passed over it. Leaves less of a messy residue when sucking it up and acts as sort of an enhanced first rinse.

Good job, I will pick striper right away after scrubber, and because is a high traffic area, I will apply 5 or 6 coats. But is a decent job 👍

Only step on areas the machine has already went over. Begin the machine next to dry area go forward then go backwards to your starting point. The wet vac guy is always on the opposite side. When you reach him and begin back tracking he sucks up the slurry. Stripper is very slippery. Need to watch out for falling down
First time watching your channel we strip the floors in the vet to sometimes always supermarket its hard a job once you get into the rhythm you know what you doing

Used to do some strip and waxing, do you use a finish mop or a different process for the wax application(debating getting back into it)
What kind of pads and stripper do you use. Any floor sealer applied before waxing

Quick question, did you apply thin coats of wax or heavy?
The first coat is pretty thick the rest are lighter
Where I work, we apply stripper, then scrape, then more stripper, machine, then shop vac, then rinse. Can you tell me what it's like to clean your shop vac after you're done with the job using this method? We normally scoop up the removed wax (it's 4 coats) after the scrape and double bag it to dispose of it. Then we just rinse the heck out of it after we use the machine

Depends where you live in Ky 0.80 to 1 dollar depends to many factors , if you need to move staff, how many coats 3 or 5 , I work for 17 years on the janitors business and own my company !!! tri-state cleaning

These were black pads, brand really doesn’t matter.
How many black pads do you go through? What do you do when they get caked up with wax?

Why did you leave the duct tape down? Left over wax under there. Uneven coat and after the wax, gotta strip the floors again to get the duct tape up.

Didn't need to be as aggressive. Probably could have used a black.

depends on weather and airflow. 30min maybe.

I don't really remember at this point haha but usually the coats take 20 min or so to dry with fans.

I honestly don't remember on this one probably 1.50 a sq foot.
Can you please next time show when you put the wax on the floor please and also have you have videos on wood refinishing taking the first polyurethane out of the floor and then put in a newer finish you got videos on that

No this is not a natural stone. It lays even as you apply it.

been working in this area for over 10 years, and let me tell you if the really stripper, do not scrub on top of the stripper, it a no-no went you strip you do so from out in, not from in out
The buffer I’m using is hand power and steel wool….
The we use at the supermarket the buffer machine has a gas bottle

Should have burnished the floor between the 3rd and 4th coat it would have really popped out
You should wait 24 to 48 hours for wax to cure before you burnish it.

yeah trade secret try not to fall.....as hle....there is alot of ways floor people use ...one you can buy pads that wrap around your shoes ...and there are shoes you have to search for them they are made in japan that are cool ......but for me i cut a stripping pad a black one in half and stand on them and drag them with my feet cause stripper is no joke you will slip quick and fall on a hard ass floor ive done it once and ill never direpect stripper again so stay enlightened and research your task at hand

Where you're wet floor signs. Also you shouldn't be walking in the stripper after putting in down. The person stripping should be behind the machine meaning strip then walk. Don't walk in stripper.
