LOL when the company I worked for had their floors cleaned they told my department about it 30 minutes before end of shift and told us we couldn't go home until we got everything off the floor. Only told our department so we also had to go around telling every other department. Except one department was told it didn't apply to them... until it did. The cleaning company just cleaned around everything so there's big square patches of dirty floor where pallets were temporarily placed.

Leaving computers on the floor while you're slinging stripper and liquefied wax seems like a bad technique to me.
@@paulsallee4889 That's not their job to do, it's up to that medical office to move everything off the floor. It probably wasn't moved because the office didn't want to redo the wiring later so they left it.

Most clients don't get everything off the floor even when requested. Strap it up instead of potentially damaging it.

I'm a custodian for a school and during these summer months we gotta strip and wax floors too, so I know these jobs take much longer than carpets. Still, when the floor looks like a sea of glass, you know you done a good job! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Me too! Ppl don’t realize what custodians go thru whilst out enjoying their summer! Stripping is the hardest!!! Especially in the stalls around the toilets! Outcome is nice tho🤩

I've been a school custodian for several years now, and I love it. The stripping can be dangerous and very time consuming, but the finished product is well worth it 👌

You guys need to franchise your services. I hired Stanley Steemer to do my carpets and they did not vaccum before starting, they did not pre treat and they did not use the CRB. When I asked them if they are going to use a CRB they looked at me like I had horns on my head. Franchise and come to Maryland.

And Florida too. I tried a few different companies that advertise floor and carpet cleaning and just getting an estimate was a headache. They’d have a special or a set price for like 2 rooms and a hallway but when they would come to do the estimate it was at least double the price. I still haven’t had the work done because I can’t get a consistent price even from the same company.
Steemer is a franchise operation and it’s structure is, while not uncommon, really really bad.
If Advanced Cleaning Systems wants to start expanding with franchises, I will absolutely jump on board because I know people would be thrilled just to see a door cover actually get used, let alone a pre-vacuuming take place, prespray actually get used, fibers agitated and (gasp) DRY STROKES. If all that can happen, and the vehicle carrying the workers and equipment isn’t a death trap, I’ll call the bank and set up the funds on Tuesday, I kid you not.
MissLilyputt honestly I would invest in a good home carpet shampooer, a large pump up sprayer, drill and set of drill brushes. Load your carpet shampoo properly diluted into the pump sprayer! Fill the extractor unit with plain old hot water! And spray away on your pre vacuumed carpet. Use the drill brush to agitate with then use the carpet shampooer to extract and rinse.
It will be slow going but pretty effective! Same setup only using the upholstery wand or a smaller portable unit! Bissell little green pro or Bissell spot clean pro heat which is what I have works great for keeping one’s vehicle interior spiffy! Same thing though no soap in the unit. Use it specifically to rinse. By doing so you eliminate the soap residue that makes your carpet look and feel dirty.
I appreciate you guys showing the invoice. It goes to show that there are still business that fairly charge for their services.
In college I did janitorial work. The first time I ever stripped a floor, I had regular tennis shoes on... I got behind the machine and flung around like a marble on a hill. It felt like I was in a cartoon. It was nuts. Lol lesson learned. 😂

I spent 7 years as a custodian at a university. Everybody remebers their first time stripping floors. My first time was like trying to use a floor buffer on a sheet of ice. It went as bad as you can imagine.

Do it Anthony! Start small and build up your business! Floor cleaning is never going to go away, so they'll always be business out there!
1st, it the smell, they are strong and you may or may not be able to stand it. 2nd, application, stripper makes a very slippery problem if you are not careful, they soften the wax really quickly. 3rd, wax, 4-5 applications and waiting to dry before the next coat. 4th, buffing, buff the wax to shine and you are done with the job. 7 years experience in supermarket cleaning.
Dang, looks like a brand new floor. That customer is definitely going to be pleased with the results.

Having been an Operations Manager for a major FM services provider in the past, I can appreciate good quality when I see it and this was from the very start, great first impression with a clean & professionally presented uniform, polite & friendly mannered, job description done down to a tea, I bet this company has a good reputation !
One tip I would like to offer if I may though is when sealing a floor, instead of applying it with a Mop or Vileda ( flatmop ) try using a window cleaning pad, it does the same job much quicker and saves you money on mopheads, keep up the great work and please do a video of you cleaning the bikes, from one twosmoker to two other twosmokers !!
If I had equipment like that I'd clean carpets and floors all day everyday 😂 Something about cleaning floors is therapeutic to me lol

I am a custodian for a company and the scrubbing and waxing is my favorite part of the job.
Our wax stripper at work is so slick, I hate stripping floors because it’s stressful to walk around. But I do love using the swing scrubber to scrub floors when we’re just cleaning. It’s so calming.

Black stuff coming up between the seams near that desk was the adhesive used to lay the tile down.
It's always one of the things we look out for when laying LVT and VCT, leaving too much glue underneath and then coming back to clean up the squeeze out.

This guy is legit. I did some carpet cleaning for a few years as a high school job. It's hard work. We did mostly apartment buildings and had to hump that equipment up and down stairs all day.

Not a professional here, but I believe you need an enzyme cleaner for urine.
@@ReganShorter Clorox has a urine product that is fantastic. Clorox Urine Remover. I use it on my rugs to pretreat before washing. Also on my tile floors. It is a great stain remover. I've found it eliminates blood stains and fecal stains.
Natures miracle does wonders for cat urine

I told my cousin-in-law that we were stripping and waxing at work.....she lost her mind. I thought I broke her. Not realizing what was a normal daily work occurence for cleaning in the summer, I forgot that it is not normal to some people and might be taken the wrong way if they dont know what I'm talking about.
