I went on a DIY writing retreat and wrote my whole damn book!

- So I’ve had this goal for 2020 to write a book, and I never seem to have time to work on it. So I made time- 5 nights in a treehouse at an eco resort in the Sunshine Coast hinterlands, where I had no distractions, and I could focus on writing all day. It worked! 4 days later I have 30,000 words for my book. Watch till the end to find out what it’s about!
ALSO: I’m sure you’ve noticed my daily blogging has come to a halt. Firstly, my PhD has been far more demanding than I anticipated, and secondly, I lost my vlogging camera and only just found it. No more daily vlogs, but I’ll be back to weekly videos from now on 😊

Tiyana, a lot of people don't want to see you finish your book because they don't want people to have extra income coming in, some people will feel like you're doing better than them or making more money than them. So getting away on a long distance trip was good because you cannot write a book having people around you because they will be talking to you and distracting you. Trust me I know. They will feel like by you writing a book it's not important because it's not a real job, which it's not, but you never know the book might be a success especially if it fits best being a movie or TV show. Like the book I'm writing fits better being a movie because it's too visual and people would try to distract you from finishing it. But I will still keep my day job because writing it's not a real job but I will try because it want hurt to finish the book.
