what i like about the movies more than the show is that how sherlock and watson work together like a team like partners, while in the show watson just kinda follow holmes around do what he was told
Well in the movies Sherlock and Watson have been working together for years now. In the TV show they are still new to each other.
i know Im kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good site to stream new movies online?
never understand why people like the series.
You are right. In fairness to the show it is more accurate in that regard to the books where several times, Holmes will just troll and manipulate Watson for very strange reason and then Watson will be like "BY JOVE, HOLMES!" Watson doesnt really have agency in the story, outside of being the narrator or doing odd jobs. However on screen it makes for a more entertaining and engaging Watson to have him be more of the muscle to Holmes' brains rather than just some dude. It also always made me laugh that Sherlock, the cokehead who doesnt leave his bed if he doesnt have a case, somehow is in better shape and has better hands than Watson the army vet who somehow manages to get himself kidnapped multiple times.
Such a small thing, but I love the exchange at 1:15. In only a couple of seconds, Holmes comes up with an idea, and with barely any words, Watson knows exactly what he wants him to do. It really shows how long these two have been working together, and the deep relationship that's formed because of it.
- Did you miss me ?

You're not supposed to hit their foreheads, hit them on the nose or bellow
@@andresdiaz7820 thanks for advice
Hit them on the bridge of the nose
Watson : KNOCK HIM!
Holmes : *tries to knock 'meat' with head-impact, then he got knocked(shortly)
Urrcreavesh “Nut him!” = “Headbutt him!”
@Urrcreavesh oh I thought nut him was hit him in the nuts which would put any man down for a minute or two.
@@ExplodingRaven he actually did it later in the scene
0:02 that wtf look at holmes was comic :D
"WOMAN!!!"
She runs with the cylinders like a child who just robbed the fridge. I love these three together.
This music is amazing
Note the repeating musical leitmotif in the background. A phrase repeating twelve times... which is in fact a minor version of the Big Ben's chimes.

Me when the Discussion on Forums go into wild hissing fits because of my trolling
Rdj best Sherlock. Waiting for Sherlock Holmes 3
The music here is brilliant, it sounds like a clock’s song after it chimes
Wow, that chime took a minute and twenty secondsm
BBC should have used Rachel McAdams for Irene in it's Sherlock series

As the clock struck 12 noon, Lord Blackwood summoned the evil dark powers and escaped to go after Sherlock Holmes and Irene.
I think there is a mistake since he said "tu m'as manqué ? " which means actually "did I miss you ?"
What's your opinion ?
Unless there’s a rule I don’t know about that makes it different for missing a target as opposed to missing someone emotionally, then I think you’re right.
*Tu m'as manqué ? = I missed you ?* so yeah doesn't sound logic
Derek Vim Yes it sucks a bit. They only used few words of french and they made a mistake. For such big productions, they could have used Google translate at least (which wouldn't have made the same mistake btw).
@@tg-mc8im lmao so true
Yes but the play on word would have been ruined. So good translation in my opinion.

He doesn't say "did you miss me" but "I missed you" (I'm french)
I can also speak french.
Actually "Tu m'as manqué" meaning depends on how you read the sentence. "Tu" can be the subject or 'tu" can be the object.
However, it seems he said "Tu m'as manqué?" and because of the question mark, could only mean "Have you missed me?", and not "I have missed you".
@@akj7 Well, maybe that's something possible theoretically, but French is my native language and I can assure you that nobody uses "tu m'as manqué?" to say "did I miss you?"
@@angedz9347 Obviously ! It is like saying "Am i hungry?". Noone will probably say that.
By the way "Tu m'as manqué?" is like "Tu me donnes?" can have two meanings: 1. Tu donnes ... à moi. 2. Tu donnes le moi à ... .
These issues do not exist in German for example, in which "me" (french) is equivalent to "mich" or "mir" depending on the object of the sentence.

Where did Blackwood get a remote detonator in the 19th Century?
Good question
@@RolandRG it's a plotpoint. Moriarty sent Irene to get the tube because he wanted the device, since the technology was so advanced
@@matiasaguilar2500 Wish they had used it in 'Game of Shadows', so when Colonel Moran has to do the assassination he has control over when the bomb will go off. This way he can use the explosion to better cover his shot.

The series was so much better
4th season was wack
Mohammad Rasool Well you’re comparing a TV show (which can be thought out completely with plenty of time) compared to a movie (which has far more restrictions in being made) that’s not even half as long as a season. To put it simply, the TV series is meant to draw things out and help build a plot and development, while the movies have to be jammed in less than two hours.
I don't think it's a good idea to compare a movie to a TV series imo
TV series was pretentious as hell and Watson was a loser.
I can't stand the series this movie is way better
