U might be able to the only concern is will it be too thick for the swifter to hold it on, as the holes u punch it down into are only so big. I would test it with two before actually sewing it to see.
@@HappiestCamper it did not work for me because as you said, it's too thick to go in the holes.
Could you serge the edges instead of folding?
You should be able to do that but it will change the size of the fabric making it too large. Make adjustments (smaller) to the size of the fabric piece and it will work.

I use dish rags and have tried old microfiber cloths as a swiffer mop for my swiffer mop and it does not glide across the floor it drags what am I doing wrong and why is it dragging I have a tile floor
