      That's why the Ratings are shot. Nike donates tons to the NBA to keep it afloat. No one watches this outside in take 35 threes a game give the European white guy a chance to shine anymore; definitely the regular season anyways. Now, there's real life and issues, especially. Ratings are horrible anymore and it's a shame, it's a beautiful American game.

    • @Matt-cr4vv
      @Matt-cr4vv Před 6 měsíci

      Because they aren’t forcing out of contracts they’re forcing the team to trade them. The contract they signed continues with them to the next team. But they’re still binding - the contracts are guaranteed but if players refuse to hold up their end of the deal and skip practices or games and the like the team fines them or may simply hold back a payment that’s owed to the player in escrow as they try to argue that they aren’t required to pay the player.
      But the challenge is that when the team continues fining a player or holds back a chunk of what’s owed the player or the union itself is going to file a grievance over it and they almost always end in some settlement. But in the end a lot of the guys eventually get their way but it’s a big risk to your future contracts when you’ve acted like a fool. Or teams sometimes are just gonna move on

    The reality of the big man is Joel could have already played his best basketball, his injury issues will only get worse with each passing season, so if they wanna make a real run at a title in the Embiid era they need to just move off Simmons for the best number three they can get and try to put a package together with picks and rotational guys for a CJ McCollum, Buddy Hield type spot up guard. Then just hope embiid can stay healthy through the playoffs and just be dominant enough to make a run at it. That’s the only feasible option at this point bc they won’t have enough time to develop a draft prospect before embiid is too far gone and they won’t be able to get a true superstar to run with him, so there best bet is to go the Bucks route and go with two low end all stars rather than one superstar and hope embiid can make up the difference in sheer domination of the post making for more room for the Buddy Hield-type guard to shoot off the catch and create room while the third option moves off ball and constantly goes back and forth between cuts and spot ups trying to create a shot. That’s there best bet at this point

    Joel embid wanted him gone 2 years ago at least. Ben is wrong, but why would play in a city that doesn't want you, on a team that doesn't want you.
    Joel been trying to max Kellerman Ben

    Simmons didn't care what Doc or Embiid said. He didn't like his role in Doc's offense when Embiid was playing. These chump reporters keep rehashing the same opinions without thinking. Remona Shelburne's article is really great on this. Last year Simmon's numbers were down before the playoffs for two reasons - one he wasn't couping with his family situation (he was probably at his lowest mentally throughout the year coz of this) and two Doc wasn't interested in featuring him in the offence the way he wanted to be. Did he complain then? He played poorly on offence in the Atlanta series, but even in that series look at the moments when he succeeded. Doc made him the focus from the post. He just wants to be moved. He doesn't care about the money. Sixers don't want to listen to him telling them he's out.

    I'm telling you... Joel is officially on his last nerve... he's gonna slap somebody and it ain't Doc or Darryl... NOW THAT I MENTION IT... ISNT IT FUNNY THAT THE 76ERS HAVE TWO PEOPLE THAT ARE CALLED DOC AND DARRYL... and yes that makes Ben Simmons the COKE ADDICTION!!!!!!!
