One night when I was about 10, I saw a fireball like the one on that tv screen. Awesome, never seen anything like it since.
The U.S. government lied and told people everything would be fine while fleeing to Greenland. That makes the movie patently more believable.

I always dislike the endings to apocalyptic movies but man, the ending of this movie got me good. One of the most surreal endings, to the world ending. When Gerald Butler says, “you are my life..” it made me automatically think of my wife and son. Great ending to a great movie. 3.5/5 stars.

This was such a great movie! I wish we had seen it in movie theaters 😢. We watched for the first time and it was amazing. Really emotional and suspenseful. Hanging on hoping the family made it. ❤❤❤❤❤ 10/10 would recommend

Life is too short. Be slow to be angered and be quick to forgive. This movie has alot of life lessons.
I watched this for the first time last night. It might just be my new favourite disaster film. Unlike “Armageddon” or “Deep Impact”, there’s a lot of depth and realism to what’s going on here. And the special effects, while spectacular, take a backseat to the story it ultimately wants to tell.
