Yeah, they sound great. It's funny how we (Americans) suck at British and Australian accents, yet British people and Australians can easily do an American accent. A Southern accent must've been harder to learn, but Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson seem to have got it down. I hope the other actors sound as good as them.
Remember when people made fun of Pattison cause of Twilight. Several years later the man is doing big films and being a great actor.
When I saw The Rover, I was blown away by Pattinson. He could act! Twilight made him money no doubt, but it did a disservice to his skill.

a lot of these actors probably took pay cuts to be in this if anything...Pattinson has been on a real career resurgence as of late and hasn't been in a lot of high budget shit and Skarsgard, Stahn, and Tom Holland are coming off huge franchises (IT and Marvel) and know Campos is a great director so they wanted to work with him for a lower price

The storytelling is genius. A story that begins with a father in WW2 and ends with his son in a gunfight - bound together by dozens of small choices. I love how the movie shows how important small choices can be.

I've read unfair reviews about this movie. Interpretations are great and the actors did an amazing job. Tom and Robert's accents are incredible and the plot discusses pretty deep and dark (but at the same time grounded and real) themes. I loved this movie especially if we take into account the desolate land the movie industry is right now. People do yourselves a favour and watch this beautiful, human and dark story. Even if English is not your native language watch it in the original version with subs. It is the best way to experience it in the right way.
Probably the best film I've seen In the last 5 maybe 10 years. Beautifully written and the acting is outstanding. I'd like to see Tom Holland do more things like this.

Nah, that doesn't mean anything really if the plot and production are bad. We had some big-names-movies that were shitty as hell - last example Cats. That one was STACKED, with all capital letters. And we all know what the end product was. I'm still amazed how they had so many good actors that can sing and turned an iconi and belowed musical into... whatever that was.

What a fantastic film with a stellar cast! Jason Clarke, Robert Pattinson, and Bill Skarsgård are three of the best actors working in Hollywood today. Pattinson is quite exceptional with his accents, just like Tom Hardy. Many people gave him a hard time with Twilight, but everyone has to start somewhere. Skarsgård has such a presence and is always mesmerizing to watch. Clarke brings it every time, the camera absolutely loves this guy. Brilliantly written movie. Highly recommend!!

It's the story of saints & the Devil in some people all the time.
Good performances all round, well worth watching.
Here’s why I like it.
I think it’s quite a clever film, it’s like Tarantino meets no country for old men. I like how everyone arvin knows, while trying to reach out to god, commits sinful acts. And therefore even by not not being Christian, arvin is somehow the purest one of them all. I also think all the characters are very strong and well written, their all very memorable and well acted And I like the slow pacing.

Very good depiction of the 1950's 60's in coal country WV and Ohio. I was 7 years old in 1957 when we moved from Coal River, WV to Ohio for my dad to find work, then moved back a year later. When I saw the intro part of this film, I thought, wow, so accurate. Beyond that, the story and the actors were excellent.

Did you ever see the linguistic map? It shows that deep south is a remnant of the transatlantic accent, which is a bastardized form of UK English. It's not hard to go from an english accent to a southern accent as much as it is from english to bostonian or midwest

I knew he was putting his acting to the test in Homecoming to begin with. It takes legitimate talent to pull off Spider-Man that well. Especially pulling off an awkward teenager when you’re not even a teenager

Yo tell me why I’ve rewatched this movie like 5 times- never gets tiring.
I would love to get to that number but so far I've only watched it twice because while this movie is so amazing and I love and hate it as a christian, it's also so intense that I need some sort of comedic or romantic palette cleanser immediately after watching this so if I was going to get to number 5, I better have enough energy left in me to stay awake long enough for my palette cleanser movies, which is rare for me
