    I recall a long time ago in a galaxy far far away when I was into wine. This one retailer I frequented had an old gentlemen. He never used any descriptors apart from "good" and "nah." I understand the inability to provide flowery descriptors. I have been drinking tea long enough that the "good" or "nah" descriptors from a trusted taster is all that's really needed.

      it's fun sometimes to not have any idea what something will taste like other than "good."

    The dimply paper you are referring to is indeed very nice for storage. Also, I was yawning with you! Had a tiresome weekend, currently enjoying a cup of your 2014 Man Tang Hong 3 Ripe. Definately interested in this raw cake too, I'll have a sample with my next order for sure!

    Silver teapots definitely make a difference. I'd gotten out of the habit of using mine, but recently I've been using it with a tea I know inside and out and the difference is nothing short of staggering. It's not just in my head, either. The tea soup that comes out of my silver pot is super, super smooth. And with this one tea, I had to double check that I was brewing the right tea. This is coming from someone who is viciously anti-confirmation bias, too!

      man now i want to try silver
      are you talking like, real sterling silver, or some metal or alloy?

    • @sockbert
      @sockbert Před 4 lety

      @@jimmyhsp Not Sterling, which is an alloy (.925 silver). I'm sure that's ok for an afternoon tea service, but in this case you want .999 silver, so almost 100% pure.

    "Tea is real." - Scott 2020 😋
    Still buying Bitcoin (and gold, silver, and tea nowadays). Bitcoin is as real as math, or euclidean geometry. But compared to tea, yeah, it's hard to drink Bitcoin.

    • @Yunnansourcing
      @Yunnansourcing  Před 4 lety +6

      Sounds like you are prepared for every eventuality! Tea is so very real! I am hoarding it and I'll leave some decoy silver coins near my LBZ tongs and hope the thieves are happy with taking the silver coins!

    What a nice coincidence. I happened to be drinking another Lincang raw puer while watching this video (the 2003 Feng Qing Jia Ji Er), which whet my appetite for a sample of this stuff indeed!
