Wow he is a big happy boy ! awesome !. .. I was giving a sample of the white tea with tea flowers (my first flower experience) and it was tottally great and tasted very interesting . I bet those other three cakes are great too
He really is, he's 26 pounds at just over 8 months. I think he'll be walking within 2 months. He seems super-charged!

Ordered a 25g 'sample' of this, and loved the depth of it! Probably shouldn't have drank it before going to bed though 😅. Ended up ordering a cake during a black tea sale. Hope you guys do more combination tea cakes!

@@Yunnansourcing Hopefully your getting a full nights sleep by now. ..a few months later it’s terrible 2s or cutting teeth, lol. The fun never ends those first few years. Hopefully the wife is doing okay with things. My wife was so hormonal. It killed the relationship.

Hence grandpa style brewing or classic Western style had a revival .

Ethan is just the cutest! I am so happy to see that you are all doing well! and it's an awesome suggestion with the SAMA bottle. I got the old double layer glass thermos that you are selling, and I am usually using that for either cold brewing or doing something relatively similar to the 6 grams for the entire volume. Each time I use it I always regret not buying more white teas and Dan cong and TGY.
I am usually not too much of a black tea fan (however I had a sample of purple voodoo which I quite liked), but maybe I should give thie Man Gang Gu Shu mix a try. I really wish I was more of a black tea guy, as they are often more sharable with non-tea people, or at least more so than the aggressive pu-erhs I usually opt for.

@@Yunnansourcing It looks really nice, if the old thermos ever dies on me, then that one is surely a nice looking option. Or perhaps, if I at any point get a position where traditional brewing is not an option, then this could be a nice upgrade.
That is a very nice point, I am actually very curious about how the same material could be similar through the different processing style. I almost always just get a cake, since import duties in Europe massively impact how small an order that makes sense as there is a flat processing fee applied to parcels outside EU.
Looking forward to some exciting tea from YS soon though!

what kind of kettle do you use? is it a temperature-control one? i remember you had a clear one at one point. im looking for a temp control kettle and i like clear see-through kettles to see it boiling mostly cause its fun 😁
It has temp settings and "keep warm". I've had it for 4 years and still going strong.

Scott can you brew every type of tea in a silver tea pot?
Yes you can, although the greatest benefit is brewing teas that like heat. Silver is really good at distributing the heat from the water and keeping it hot. That's especially good for pu-erh, hei cha, oolongs and black tea. Black tea and oolongs you might want to use cooler water (90C) depending on your preference.
One 45 min steep?

for the 45 min steeping thing, do you think it dampens the flavors? I like this kind of brews but the gong fu chai community seems pretty sure about fast brewings being more delicate, having more clarity and complex taste/aroma than longer steeps. Do you think you lose something when you gor for a 45 min/one steep recipe?
I don't think it dampens the flavors at all. I actually think super fast gong fu steeps make the tea a bit boring. Even when I do gong fu, I still start at about 30 seconds. I will publish a video later today where I talk more in depth about the SAMA MC05 Flask.
