Thank you sir lesson of trouble shooting of containers of reefers
17 years here at the Port of Tacoma as a “reefer mechanic” real good to see /hear from “like minded individuals”
You're the most complete technician on yt love from Pakistan ❤
Great videos. Keep vlogging. I am fan of electrical matters. Thank you!
love you lecky im glad i found your page this is awesome work, im a commercial air conditioning technician so i love watching your hvac/r related vids especially !
Thank you for watching
@@leckyjake can you help me?
Sir your great very helpful video new person and me also I am working in trailer reefer container thanks lot
You are so knowledgeable and intelligent. Wish I was someone like you. Too old now. Did work onshore ships when I was young. The Jealousy 😆
thank you for your wonderful comment
I’ve had evap motors where they forget to install a spacer washer for the fan blade. Most common problems I see with starcool are the contactors coming off the rail and interlocks missing. 👌
Thank you. I ran out of spare Starcool evaporator fan motors on my last ship and I was wondering about how to run them with just one fan.
Thanks you very much indeed.
We had a few containers the place I use to work
But troubleshooting it's was little confusing for mi
Especial on the control board
The u doing makes life easier
Thank you so much sir, i'm ETO from indonesia
I sailed once as an assistant electrician aboard a container ship. I was surprised at the number of containers that fail while in transit. They came to the ship limping on their last leg only to die aboard the ship. Not too clear on how the ship compensated for spare parts. I was told that it costs the ship too much to have spare parts at the ready, so we didn't have many. Contactors seem to be a common repair too.
that's the sad truth.
Mr. Secretary isa kang henyo ☺
Love from India ❤
Sana po magkaroon din kayo ng vlog about CA reefers. Godbless sir leckyjake.
Hai sir Nice information for us if u don’t mind Will you please Tell the using of reefer tools names please sir
In most cases you can reconnect the evaporator motor after it has cooled down and it will work fine (if it is not defective of course).
so just disconnect and give it 15 mins or so to cool down and it should be ok if not defective?
👍👍👍
Liquid sight glass is full SMV is good when temperatures reach - 10 and then going up and compressor keeps running
Hi Jake another great Video. Can you tell me what would have happened if the second motor had also failed, as you would not have access to repair due to the beam being across the access panels
either we discharge the unit on the next port (if sched is just near) or need to cut the beam as our main goal is zero damage cargo. this is the commitment for the customers
@@leckyjake wow cutting the beam is drastic but I can understand.
💯
You could have just jumped 25/26 at the main controller connector. And because the product temp is already at temp there’s no reason to block any airflow. If anything blocking the airflow will cause low suction pressure readings. The controller will get confused and Then the EEV will overfeed and possible slug your compressor.
If you will not remove the connections in the motor then once contactor activates you are still supplying the bad moto4 with 440Volts with the protection bypassed in the controller., that would be unsafe.
@@leckyjake agreed you have to disconnect the motor connection. But it’s easier to jump out the controller imo. I’ve fixed hundreds of these issues once they get unloaded off the ship. I have alot of respect for you guys at sea. No repair parts or training. These vids are great. I’m a CTC/ Daikin /SC/TK factory trained tech of 25 years. If your even at the Port of Vancouver hit me up!
hi aaron. i need a little reefer help. would you be willing to spare me a few minutes? thanks
Sir me topic po ba kayo pano mdaling masusundan electrical diagram of carrier multi temp unit transport reefer po
Iam hvac/reefer container technician sir need to more information about reefer container
👍🏽
Mr. Secretary PLC naman for instrumentation
I have done what you did, but still my container is not running?

How to fix the fuel pump problem in mtrcs
Please kindly help ran refrigerated containers yard facility in inland Boankra port in Ghana
Does the refrigerated container have its own power supply or is it connected to the ship's electrical grid ?
they are connected to the ship's Switchboard
I have a problem in my carrier Transicold cotatainer not reaching temperature set point is - 20 there is no alarm pressure high is 200 psi low is 5 psi temp coming up to - 10 only do you have any solution

😂😂
Hi I am having a problem with my carrier unit I have alarm codes from one to 16 and the compressor won’t come in everything else work but the compressor won’t come in
Check the terminal connections on your controller
I've got a problem with a reefer container carrier thinline transicold model # 69NT40-541-008. It is showing these alarm (AL52)&when display the alarm stack its show(AL01,AL02,AL03..TO AL16)and these alarm codes not found in manual How can I solve that
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated thanks.
first check your terminal connections in your controller. if you have batches of alarms most probably you have a loose connections in your controller
@@leckyjake they are all gud
Kuya Lecky...what might have caused F.C. to go kaput? Would fixing the contactor/auxillary/interlock/circuit breaker/r&r access panel affecting the FC?
there are a lot of reasons why the FC will get faulty but in general it is just because it is a running machinery that reached its limit
I see...thanks Kuya Lecky
Boss
sir ano po mdalas sanhi pag nag titrip ang breaker? thermoking po
short circuit or overloading. tingnan mo kung anong component ang nag ON bago mag trip, like if compressor ba, condenser motor, evap or immediately nag ttrip nasa cabling
@@leckyjake mraming slamat po sir jake
