Hi Lecky, Frst of all thank you for your wonderful easy explanation on each of your video. Im having a trouble on my ushio ref system, which is no 1 compressor is getting frosted if i let the system run. Now i changed over to no:2 not pumping down , but by charging no 2.
What may be the probable reasons for the frosting, no fluctuation in suction and discharge pressure. R417A was charged on no:1 last week.
i always depend on the pressures. but most of the times if you have frost in the suction you might have an overcharged of refrigerant

Hi just want to share my insight. The trouble is your compressor is getting frosted. One main reason, the refrigerant on the suction line all the way to the compressor is not in vapor/gas form. A lot of reason way this happened, most notorious one is overcharge, malfunctioning expansion device, dirty/clogged evaporator coil, and etc. But base on the scenario you have stated it is more likely overcharge.

a very good explanation sir. you said that we need to run the compressor two times so if during the first time the low pressure switch activates how can we restart again the compressor or how will the compressor start again? will the pressure increase itself due to remaining refrigerant on the system?
You can force to start pushing manualy the main contactor from the compressor about 3 or 5 seconds.
So the switch of compressor is off already before the closing the service valve? Am i right?
Sir, When you were pumping down the condenser of unit 1, the unit 1 was running in auto mode ?
Next time please add "What not to do" I learn more by learning from others mistakes.

normally the changeover is being done every month, you do not want any refrigerant in the line for the non running compressos as in will condense in the latter.you do not want liquid state refrierant to enter into your compressor.
Good day lec. I have a question I experience during pumping down discharge pressure is increasing until high pressure trip activated and suction pressure is not decreasing hard to activate the low pressure switch. What is the cause?
For that reason I cannot properly pump down and changeover to another one compressor.

first, the cooling should still be present during pump down.
you can adjust the setting of your discharge pressure switch as per your manual max limit.
3rd. check for leak test on your suction side. the pressures you may be getting is the air that is goibg through your system

good question, if the suction pressure switch is more than zero bar/MPa then adjust it to zero.

Sir leckyjake patulong naman yong fish room namin ayaw mag reach sa -18 ,hanggan-13 lang sya. Palaging nakabukas yong expansion valve kaya nag ice na yong evaporator. Kahit nag depros na kami ayaw pa din talaga tumaas . Patulong po. Salamat idol
