      It's better not to be born then to constantly live in the fear of going to eternal torment.
      Even if you accept Jesus you can still go to hell. Just look at what Jesus said himself.... "Not everyone that says Lord Lord....".
      There is no guarantee of salvation.
      It does seem that the Bible God wants strict obedience through fear.
      Right now as is I love God and everything he says I have to love because I don't want to go to hell forever.
      I guess it's better to live in fear then to live in torment..... It maybe it's the same. I just don't want to go to hell forever please.

    • @rdhaley96
      @rdhaley96 Před 3 lety +4

      @mono man There's still the issue, though, that God predestines people from the start. None of us asked to exist. If we end up going to hell because God wanted to glorify himself, I don't see how that would be compatible with a God who is supposed to be "love."

      @trommelbiel Před 6 lety +11

      Christine Vest I wouldn't use the word discouraging. I hate it when pastors try to explain hell. There is no explanation just as there is no explanation for heaven. When was the last time Queen Elizabeth went out to the streets and brought in strangers to come live with her in the mansion? When was the last time a sitting US president went to jail for a couple of days in order to prevent vulnerable people from going to jail or becoming executed. It is better to concentrate on the goodness of God rather than dwell on hell.
      Humans live in two dimensions but we are allowed to see one. The culmination of that which happens in the background which we cannot see now is the reason for hell.

      You are asking a very important question, namely What is the point of it all?
      The bible gives you an extremely shocking answer - one that will make you wonder if God is a god of Love - until you sit down and think very, very carefully about it.
      _Romans 9:_
      _22 What if God, intending to show His wrath and make His power known, bore with great patience the vessels of His wrath, prepared for destruction?_
      _23 What if He did this to make the riches of His glory known to the vessels of His mercy, whom He prepared in advance for glory?_
      _24even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?_
      But look at the previous verses: Romans 9:
      _17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”_
      _18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills._
      The key is this - God is sovereign and because mankind sinned, God is not bound by any prior commitment of so-called human "fairness" to save *_ANYONE!_*
      If you haven't already done so, think very, very carefully about this.

Dust to dust & ashes to ashes. The soul & spirit go back to God & He will restore ALL things to the original state as the penalty for the disobedience was paid by Jesus. CS Lewis dealt with this better. People go to hell because they choose to by denying God / electing to eschew the free gift of salvation. It's their choice. Because God exists outside and AROUND time, He can see the beginning of time and the end. He doesn't pressure anyone into salvation. If they so happen to ignore God, He just happens to know that before they do. But it's still their choice.

    So God's default position, created the moment Adam sinned (which God somehow couldn't foretell), is that everyone goes to Hell and suffers for eternity. That was NOT his default position before Adam bit the apple? Now, because of the actions of one man, a very, very slim minority will escape this torment by accepting Christ as the true and only son of the Creator and in doing so all sins are pardoned. God already knows who will be saved and who will end up in eternal torment? I LOVE the Creator, but HOW can this be true of the the Heavenly Father? He knows how many hairs are on your head. He knew you before you were born, He knew the day you would be born, and He knows the day you will die. I LOVE Jesus, I love the Creator, I love the Holy Spirit. I welcome them all into my life, I accept that Jesus died to cover my many failings, but I do not welcome any Christian teacher who claims my Lord is capable of perpetrating such evil. Burning and perpetually torturing ignorant humans (intentionally designed imperfect by Himself), his very own children, is evil. I'm sorry; this is not acceptable on any level. To talk circles around this, twist words, and contort language to excuse this is outrageous. I pray to God He forgives me for holding fast to my belief that His love is more powerful than man's ignorant, corrupt interpretation of his holy word. I found the parable of the wheat and the tares to be EXTREMELY helpful when answering this question.

    In summary of this parable Jesus is saying if you take away all the tares (unbelievers/ evil doers ) from the field you might uproot the wheat ( believers/ those who will come to Christ) with them. What you're saying is a complete paradox. "Those who go to hell are doing so based on their own accord anyway so God isn't to blame." Perhaps a logical statement but it doesn't change the point, which is that God knows who will reject him and go to hell before they even come into existence. The question is, why bring a person into existence, even if the person has free will, God know what that person will do with their free will and ultimately where they will end up. Eternity is incomprehensible, a loving God (don't get me wrong, I do believe in God and believe he wants the best for all) who will "allow" a person to come into existence well knowing they will suffer endlessly forever and ever after death. Instead of the perfect answer I simply believe our minds will never be able to comprehend the true nature of this question. @@trishamorris5097 Well, actually there is an answer - maybe just not in the normal human form we'd like to have.
      You are asking a very important question, namely What is the point of it all?
      The bible gives you an extremely shocking answer - one that will make you wonder if God is a god of Love - until you sit down and think very, very carefully about it.
      Romans 9:
      22 What if God, intending to show His wrath and make His power known, bore with great patience the vessels of His wrath, prepared for destruction?
      23 What if He did this to make the riches of His glory known to the vessels of His mercy, whom He prepared in advance for glory?
      24even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?
      But look at the previous verses: Romans 9:
      17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”
      18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.
      The key is this - God is sovereign and because mankind sinned, God is not bound by any prior commitment of so-called human "fairness" to save *_ANYONE!_*
      If you haven't already done so, think very, very carefully about this.

      "I felt quite sure the creature I was looking at was what we called good. But I wasn't sure whether I *liked* goodness so much as I'd once supposed. This is a very terrible experience. As long as the thing you're afraid of is evil, you may still hope that the good will come to your rescue. But suppose you struggle through to the good, and find it to be just as dreadful. How, if food turns out to be the very thing you can't eat, or home the very place you can't live, or your very Comforter the One Who makes you uncomfortable. Then, indeed, there is no rescue possible. The last card has been played."

      Ultimately it’s about a relationship, not just believing in. We can believe in a lot of things, but how has your belief in God, in Jesus, in walking with the Holy Spirit changed who you are? Are you dying to your desires daily? Do you pray and seek the direction of the Holy Spirit? Are you a known sinner who repents and KNOWS you need a savior? Has Jesus become your savior? The Bible is clear that even the demons believed in Jesus. The demons knew Jesus’ voice… but until we have a fully surrendered heart, we aren’t truly saved from anything. I hope this makes sense? Helps a little? I don’t believe anyone who just believes in God, will go to Heaven. How do we live? Are we living for ourselves or for God? The Bible is so clear on this and gives us a beautiful guide on how to live ❤️ I really hopes this helps…

    • @cherryheart3
      @cherryheart3 Před 3 lety

      @ Glory To GOD When God had a plan for mankind he did not want to force them to obey. He gave Adam and Eve instructions and told them what not to do and what to do. When God created angels he did not give them a choice. They were created in a spiritual being holy unto God. God knew Good and Evil so he made the angels to know the same. Satan chose the evil he knew about because God wanted them to know like himself. God told them many things, but he did not tell them everything. Satan thought because he knew the things...that he knew the secret of God and was going to make his throne higher than God since God gave him a throne. God knew what was going to happen, but it didn't change his love for Satan before Satan did it because it was a choice Satan made that he saw in the future. The angels was not to go against God and God hoped they wouldn't go against his rule even though he knew they would because he foresees. God allow things to take its course because he is a good God. He did not destroy Satan and his angels before he already knew it was going to take place. God did not give the angels a choice. They were to straight up be righteous. They were made heavenly, but they knew to do good and evil.When God made man he did not create man in the spiritual. He formed us from the dirt. So instead of forcing us he gave us a choice. He is doing humans another way. He gave us choice to choose life or to die. He did not tell Adam and Eve about the tree of life but he put it in the midst so they would have physically live forever if they had eaten it before Satan tempted them to take their mind off of God's instructions to live, but they chose the tree of evil and good. Satan wanted Eve to do what he did and choose evil. . Angels knew evil and Good, but not Adam and Eve. Angels were not suppose to choose evil even though they were created to know the difference because God made them like him. God gave man favor of being formed in his likeness (to be spiritual) but in the image of God but in the flesh. Since the angels chose to do evil when they were created righteous that was an abomination. So man was not forced by God and he said if you want life eternal just do what I say, but I'm going to let you choose to obey or not. Just don't eat the tree of knowledge and evil or you will die. No more will he force. Freedom will this time. Satan will continue to pull you from me, but walk the straight path where it leads to righteousness. It will be tempting because the wide gate has the things your flesh desires, but obey me and you will not lose. This is your test. This is the way I want this to be this time I come this way and I see that it is good because it pleases me. Others choose the easy path because they feel its hard to avoid things that will cause your life to perish. Bible saids woe unto the habitanrs of he earth for the devil comes down to you with his wrath.

Some may say God doesn't care about breath and I say true because he designed man, but if a person say I respect you God and I love you more than people so instead of brushing my teeth for man's sake only.... The actual direct answer to the question begins at 10:20. I would suppose that many viewers would not think this answer to be satisfactory as it is, essentially : "Because God wanted to...He is sovereign...no debate...like it or not...oh, and, from God's perspective, He gives the person millions, literally millions, of very easy opportunities, during that person's lifetime, to repent and accept the FREE gift of salvation through Jesus, but the person repeatedly refuses. Hence, from God's perspective, which is the only perspective that matters, God is blameless for that person's ultimate destiny in hell."

    The teaching of eternal conscious torment makes God even more evil than satan. It is extremely incompatible with a loving and just God. From this standpoint I really can understand why many people are atheists and don´t want to have anything to do with God. People who believe this follow God because of fear rather than love. Your motive should be love like Jesus teaches. Just look into the old hebrew/creek original bible texts and "tormented for ever and ever" literally changes to "tested for (limited) periods of time". Please just use your mind people, God would never allow 90% of humanity to be tormented without an end. Then Jesus would have failed miserably on the cross dying for (almost) nothing. In the end, every knee shall bow and every tounge confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord. That should tell you something...

    • @lerinnenatalia
      @lerinnenatalia Před 6 lety +5

      Danmasterx19 that is absolutely 100% correct what you said about hell. This teaching of eternal torment is purely satanic. Satan started this lie to make God seem unloving and cruel to us.
      For one, it feeds a fear of the unknown. Some just fear what happens and thats their only motivation to do right.
      This also makes it easier for people today to put off caring about God or the future. When the consequences are far away, they choose to do what they please now. Its out of sight out of mind.
      This is all a part of Satans rebellion to turn us away from God, just as he did Adam and Eve.
      There are many other false teachings and outright lies about God, such as the trinity, the 3 in 1 God. I have an article to share, its entitled 'Lies that make God seem unlovable.' Please read, and share your thoughts.

Once one knows what justice is like then one will also know what mercy means because mercy is withholding justice. Bottom line, without justice mercy loses its meaning. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
      And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.”

    When we have nothing to compare our own salvation too, i find myself in constant fear im doing something wrong... my walk in Jesus is new. I talk to him like he is my true family which is how I feel. But then, i find teachers who in video claim they can teach us how to pray. Is their a right and wrong way to pray? Often prayer uses words that feel awkward to me and sound awkward coming from me. Further, i just learn of the Sabbath being the fourth of the 10 commandment but what if i fall short in observing it properly? Sunday has been so ingrained in our programming and not just for worship but as the day before dreaded Monday or the day after Friday which we are eager to do things we couldnt get do during the week. Or go somewhere, where undoubtedly, a worker is present to take admission to get in or take payment for gas to get there. I understand the why of the 7th day of rest, and understand the evil behind man changing it to Sunday but... as a commandment, i forsee many people falling short of keeping it and therefore falling short with Gods commands of us. Its confusing, yet critical and maybe the kingdom has only so many spots that all sins, even unintentional must be considered by God for entry. Then there is the book of life. Is it possible to feel certain your name is in it, only to find out otherwise? Or discover a sin you commit but dont think its critical in Gods eyes, like telling someone they look nice when they reveal a new haircut that is not so nice in your eyes and therefore, not so nice in God eyes. I need assurance to feel complete in my faith and walk with my Lord. Faith. Thats another one. One day I have it, another day I dont. Salvation come by faith. Am i doomed?

    What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory.
