I like this teacher. He understands something too many have forgotten. The nature and mind of God are too great for us to comprehend. What is revealed in time and space now are only shadows of a higher reality we can't perceive in the flesh. I think the great drama of creation, sin, and rebellion against God will serve as an eternal lesson and a proof of God's infallible wisdom in the new creation to come. God help us to trust Him.

I heard John Hagee say one time…"the only thing as strong as God’s Love is God’s Wrath"…and considering this world and the constant suffering I've endured since the day I was born, I must agree.
I love God and give Him all credit for every Good thing, thought or deed ever done...but since He holds me accountable for my sins and He is my Creator, I also hold Him accountable for the bad things too.
I kinda agree with the theory for man not to be a robot and have a choice between Good and Evil, that Evil had to be part of the equation. God created the situation and knew Eve would sin when deceived by satan, but since this was His plan, why did He have to Curse man and all creation and punish us and make us suffer with pain and death? There will be no tears, pain, death or suffering in heaven forever, so why the need for this evil for the past 6000 years? Why did He have to leave satan as king of the world. I think we would have have sinned on our own without the need of satan and his never ceasing temptations.
Why does God seem to be so much into Pain, especially for those who are loyal and love Him the most? He made His own Son suffer the ultimate pain and death on the cross to atone for the glitch in the system and our sins. He made John the baptist and all His beloved apostles suffer and die but St. John. God made everyone on earth suffer with pain or eventually death for 6000 years. Why do those who curse God and say he does not even exist, live wonderful world loving, tree hugging, good-time-roller lives and rule the world? Why would the Good Shepherd say in His own words, "I send you out as sheep among wolves." Why does Jesus command us to love and pray for our enemies, and then allows them to slaughter those who follow and love Him? Cause that's the way God planned it, that's the way God wanted it to be...But WHY?
From someone born into the world with a double hernia, and suffers from at least 15 afflictions, I know a lot about pain and suffering. I recently came down with a new pain in my hip when sitting, and it's throbbing right now. For those who say there is good, and glory to God in our pain and suffering, I say you have never endured constant pain and suffering. Get in my shoes with constant suffering and loss of sleep and you'll stop that tune real soon.
Update 6-3-23...Praise be to God that a remedy I discovered on YT a few years ago to sleep with a pillow under my knees to heal my lower back pain, also healed my Hip Pain when sitting
Why did God allow satan to afflict the loyal and Godly Job with such awful pain and suffering? Don't use that biblical answer, "Where were you when God laid the foundation of the earth!" That's no answer! That's just a deflection and an insult to man's intelligence!
About 15 years ago God helped me write and finish 15 awesome soul saving songs. Sadly right after I wrote them, Imo satan started afflicting me with really bad health issues that have kept me from getting them into production and out to the world.
No doubt this cursed spell bound world is beginning to feel the pains of the end time Tribulations. Sadly it looks like God is going to allow this 6000 year old upside down world experimental battle between Him and satan to deteriorate and spiral down to Blood up to a Horses Mane. Jesus will then prove that Only He can justly rule man, and come riding in on His Big White Horse and defeat satan, save the world, and take over reign and rule in righteousness forever.
I am totally done with this world and myself, and the only true desire of my heart is to Glorify God to the heavens with His music, to help Him save His sheep, and obey Him and do His will.
Lord, give me a good reason to delete my negative but truthful comments, and I will happily do that!

@Ebony Addison The Bible says: As by one man's disobedience, sin entered into the world, and death by sin, so death is passed upon all men, in that all have sinned.
We are taken up so much with the fact that God is Love. We forget that God is Holy and as such must punish sin. Before this man was in innocence, but now he has the knowledge of good and evil, so he is responsible for his deeds. If God had not sent His Son into the world to die and put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself, then we would all be in a lost condition before God and all perish. All our forgiveness towards us is based on Christ's sacrifice being to the total satisfaction of the wrath of God towards us. When we exercise faith in that sacrifice for sin personally, then we become children of God by being born of the Spirit of God. It was a 'big deal' for God, which God dealt with for us.

    • @smeatonlighthouse4384
      @smeatonlighthouse4384 Před 3 lety +2

chandana perera - Your statement is false. God did not punish the whole of humanity for the sins of two people. They were told in their innocence that if they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that they would die. As a consequence of their deed sin entered into the world and death by sin. Ever since we all know when we are doing good or evil and therefore know when we sin towards God. We reap what we sow now.
God did not punish us. No He sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who took the form of a servant in human flesh, to fulfill the will of His father, which was to die to pay the penalty for the sin of mankind. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
As for the past times in the Old Testament, God was dealing with mankind through Israel eventually, in the physical sense and disobedience was punished. It was mercy towards mankind that those in the ark were spared through the flood. He is a Holy God and sin must be dealt with. Mankind at that time was sinful and wicked through and through, just like today. When the Lord Jesus comes for His church at the Rapture, God will then proceed to judge the nations and all the evil that is left behind at that time.

@@smeatonlighthouse4384 Thinking about good and evil is what an intelligent and sentient being is capable of. I think God created the universe only with a set of laws of physics, then let it unroll on its own, with occasional divine intervention, like Noah's flood, revelations to the prophets, and Jesus redemption as payment for sanctification of the repentant. Adam and Eve is only an allegory that signifies the moment a primate become sentient enough to think about their Creator, and fully capable to make a choice between good and evil.
It is easy to think of evil in this causality world of survival, but the good and the meek needs hope of afterlife to stay focus in God's wills and commandments.
Eventually, we have to make our choices to love God and follow His commandments or not. Our death seals it as our final destination as we want it to be, so there is really no judgement as God truly wants us to be free of making such conscientious decision.

I believe that as soon as a person die, his soul either go to paradise or Hades according to his deeds. One of my relative(he is RC background)died 5 days back. Another one of my relative (who recieved the gift of seeing souls from the day when he took water baptism) says that the soul of the dead person is roaming here and there around his house till now.(who was dead). He also says that don't go near his house. I used to ask this question myself but then I realized God isn't going to withhold the possibility of some going to Heaven for the sake of those who reject him and go to hell. Those who go to hell are doing so based on their own accord anyway so God isn't to blame.
I found the parable of the wheat and the tares to be EXTREMELY helpful when answering this question.
    (Matthew 13:27-30)
In summary of this parable Jesus is saying if you take away all the tares (unbelievers/ evil doers ) from the field you might uproot the wheat ( believers/ those who will come to Christ) with them. Both grow together and even those who choose to reject Christ still in some way play a role in those people lives who will come to Christ.

But according to your belief god desinated those who are going to hell even before they have been created, so god has created them for the purpose of sending them to hell. They simply can not choose not to go to hell as this will go against god will. As in your scripture, no one can go angainst god will.

If there were going to be more people in Heaven than in Hell, I might agree at least somewhat with this. But given that Jesus Himself said *few* find the Narrow Gate and *many* are tormented for eternity, it still doesn't make sense. It sounds almost like sacrificing many for the sake of a few, which can only be justified if you believe some lives are inherently more valuable than others. And God doesn't, because God is no respecter of persons.
I'd be willing to give up my eternity in Heaven and be annihilated if it would mean someone suffering in Hell right now could also be annihilated. Paul himself wished that he could go to Hell in place of the Jews. If we were never created, we'd miss out on Heaven, but that doesn't really constitute a loss. A loss is when you go from one state to a less desirable state. At least nonexistence is neither painful nor pleasurable. But the vast majority of people are going from a neutral existence to the worst possible existence, in Hell. All just to ensure a few get to go from a neutral to a better one? I believe it, but I definitely don't understand it.

We want to slash out at this creator that seems like a narcissist and who apparently even enjoys bringing pain upon Himself since man's fall hurt Him badly. Yet if you still yourself and just be very quiet and honest, don't a part of you realise that it's that part of you that is made in His image that is just wanting to play God too? Isn't it our pride at work? That because we don't see the bigger picture we are upset and indignant? It is so hard to humble myself before Him too, yet when I take an honest look around me, I know He is real, just like you do. But unlike you, I am a coward. I don't want to end up in eternal burning hell because I got a bone to pick with a creator that is so so so much all knowing than me. I choose to swallow the humble pill, give my very best and one day when I see Him, I can ask Him to explain exactly why He created us and then give Him a piece of my mind.

@@bond3161 Very agreed on the concept of duality. Removing duality removes any real reason to act responsibly. At the same time, however, Heaven is going to be a place where happiness *is* and sadness *isn't* , so I can't fully agree that happiness is better when we've experienced sadness. We might be able to *define* it more clearly after experiencing sadness, but at least without sadness, the joy is pure and undiluted by memories of pain and loss. And given how suffering is generally much less subjective than pleasure, I find myself agreeing more with Solomon and the antinatalists these days. Better to never live and never experience pleasure or suffering, than to live and experience both.

We are told to warn everybody of God's justice, and offer them His grace through Jesus Christ. "It is appointed unto men once to die, and then the judgement." Fear not them which can kill the body...rather fear Him who can destroy both body and soul in gehenna." The Lake of Fire is not a place of salvation, it is the second death.

I always liked to think that god wants his creation to love him with their own free will so that it would be guaranteed that the love would be genuine if given the choice. You cant make somebody truly love you by force or fear. I always look at it as if you get 80 years on earth and god comes undercover every once in a while to see how you feel about him and taking notes. When you eventually die after having those 80 years to get to know him and you are receiving your judgment God will show you every single time you may or may not have denounced him, ignored him, or if you accepted him and got to know him. Depending on your choice from the free will he granted us with is what you will get. I tried to meet you for 80 years and you just cursed my sons name then you get what you wanted all along and that is the separation from God. Which is Hell and darkness. Maybe God intends this life a test to see who is worthy of heaven and to find the ones who will truly love him and be devoted. Whether that's the case or not I just want to say that I am so happy, that God Almighty, the Creator of all things is my Father. He never gives up on me despite sinning and disappointing. I thank God for giving me a good heart that allows me to feel remorse when I do and when I come to him repenting. All glory to God, my father, my creator, and all my faith to his Son Jesus who is my light.

You say the amazing gift of salvation is offered to all men (people) and the Bible says God desires all to be saved but if you are not one of the "elect" (predestined for salvation by God) did you really ever have a chance to make it through that "narrow gate"? "Go away from me I never knew you" - it sounds like the plan was for most men (people) to end up in "eternal damnation" or separated from God. I know no LOVING would ever allow one of His children to end up eternally tormented if He could do something about it - so I think the Universalists got it right - I think we just have limited information and our interpretations while well intentioned are probably often wrong. But that's OK - I'll see you ALL in heaven - praise God thank you LORD 🙏😇🙏

A choice coerced by threats is not a free will choice. In fact it makes it way worse. God gave us the ability to develop emotions, make decisions and feel love just so he could derive pleasure from ripping those we care about from us and plunging them into Hell. Free Will or predestination the end result is still glorifying a monster.

As you pointed out from Ephesians Chapter One, God has a purpose, and he works all things according to the counsel of his will. In Genesis, God clearly states his founding purpose was to create certain beings “in our image.” We ask, “Why would he create us if He knew we were going to disobey?” Because in order to fulfill his purpose, that is to be like him, we needed the knowledge of good and evil, and God apparently deemed we were going to obtain that knowledge through experience. God himself states, in Genesis 3:22, following the disobedience in the garden, “Man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil.” And as God knew we would follow our own path, redemption was also a necessary part of the plan to accomplish his purpose. History is the manifestation of that purpose. God was continuously looking for a human who would adopt his purpose, without much success. Jesus’ incarnation, however, was the long-awaited fulfilment of the Godhead’s stated goal to make a spirit/physical being who would perfectly subject personal will to God’s will, and in so doing, Jesus perfectly bore God’s image. Jesus alone fulfilled creation's intent as the perfect man who, having the choice to follow his own will or God’s will, and knowing the difference between good and evil, always chose his Father’s will, that is, the good, and in so doing continuously brought glory to the Father. Jesus’ death and resurrection allows redemption through faith of other spirit/physical beings who can then choose to fulfill God’s plan of being that race of intended beings manifesting God’s image, as we, like Jesus, subject our own will to God’s will. That was and still is God’s ongoing project; to create beings who are like Him for his own glory. The attainment of the knowledge of good and evil was absolutely essential so that we creatures can each knowingly and deliberately make the decisions we need to make in this world in the same manner as Jesus did, who, having the knowledge of good and evil, always chose God’s will over his own. And note, I am not suggesting Jesus’ will was ever evil, just that sometimes, like in the garden, Jesus’ had to choose God’s will over his own. Likewise, I would not be able to follow in Jesus’ footsteps if I did not have the knowledge of good and evil as I would have no reference of good and evil to choose the good, or God’s will over my own. It is in the exercise of consciously choosing the good that we have the opportunity to glorify God by denying self and choosing the good as defined by God himself. Only with the knowledge of good and evil can I be equipped to: (a) accurately bear God's image; and (b) then, like Jesus, bring glory to God by choosing our good Father’s will. Those who choose that path will be living in accordance with God's purpose.

    @susiekay9835 Před rokem +1

I respectfully submit that you simply answer the question by saying we can’t know the answer (which is possibly a valid opinion, but not really an answer to the question).
Please consider this answer I have gleaned from the scriptures and I will welcome any constructive feedback you have:
Human parents decide to start a family knowing they will give birth to children who will be born in sin and exercise their own free will. They also know how dangerously teenagers exercise any newfound free will but the parents determine to provide and guide to the best of their ability for their children and help them through that adolescent stage (which will pass) for the joy of family and love. I believe God has given us this model of marriage and family to help us understand His purpose.
Naturally, if God were to stop the consequences of sin, then sin itself would not seem so bad. So He allows them for a
time and for His purposes. This is because suffering is used by God (as He works out the details in our life) to help us to see our true spiritual condition, to humble us, to draw us near to Him, to provide an opportunity for
Him to pour out and display His grace, to make our witness more powerful, and ultimately to grow us to spiritual maturity. For some, God may be glorified at the expense of their life yet even this is a lesson in faith in God’s promises for the next life. For this life, He gives the grace needed to get through it all; for our sake and also so our
witness might lead others to Him. To understand His purpose you must first trust that God has His reasons for allowing evil into this world; He even ordained that it should be allowed in order that all creation would learn that to choose sin is to invite its inevitable results.
In spite of the fact that the Satân is ultimately responsible for being the first to sin in Heaven and to introduce sin on
Earth, each of us had already been predestined to be born at a specific time and must still then journey through life
exercising free will and experiencing the results of both our choices and those of others as well. Whatever we decide to
do, all creation watches and witnesses the consequences of our actions. So any bad things God does allow in our lives
are used for our spiritual benefit and maturity, and for His Glory. In a sense, this time on Earth is our spiritual “adolescence” where both good and evil in this world are being used toward our spiritual growth. As we walk with God, we will understand that evil things are not “good” but that God can work those evil things for our good.
Still, some ask: “Why doesn’t God just step in and stop the consequences of sin?” The truth is, sin does have consequences and to allow us to sin and then prevent those effects would be deceptive and counterproductive to His plan. Deception is a lie and God never lies.
Finally when we’re in Eternity future God will have created a New Heaven and a New Earth where God, the Trinity, has been glorified and will be worshipped, not naively as Adam and Eve did, but in truth and in spirit. Finally God’s holy family (us) will be living with Him in the New Jerusalem now on Earth truly loving and worshipping our Heavenly Creator because we now have an experiential love and appreciation for His Holiness that Adam and Eve never could have known before The Fall. It is at this point that we will truly know the full Glory of God. And…because Jesus has defeated the Satán, sin, and death to save the family of God, for His glory and for our good, followers of Jesus Christ will worship Him both genuinely and enthusiastically, and we will also literally live happily ever after.

I am not sure how to explain it, but because there is free will in a way ( but not rly). It all started in the Heavens when Satan betrayed God and started turning angels against him. I was also angry at God for a while for testing me and his Sovereignity, but it showed me how wicked we humans are ( even if we think we are good guys, empaths w/e) . Satan is real for sure and he is here on earth with his demons ( no idea why). Anyways I have seen many supernatural things my entire life ( unfortunately probably from Satan) and one day I met a girl which was impossible otherwise to meet if it wasn't ordained. The moment she started acting up ( I was like " why always me") and my CZcams was full with Manifestation content and tarot readings on what she is doing and etc and they were accurate. Guess what. I ate it like hot bread and thought I was special snowflake. People came at me and told me how special I am and I have superpowers out of nowhere. Anyways the girl turned out to be narcissistic abuser and not a single person could explain her behavior. I returned to Christianity or God gave me grace to return and he removed this girl from my life. I started blaming God after reading the story of Job because the suffering I went through and the torture from all of the New age stuff ( demonic ) was probably allowed by him only for him to come and save me later like the example you gave. Its like burning me and driving me insane only to show me I messed up and for him to save me like a superhero from the stuff he allowed. I also read verses like the one where he heals the blind man, which was born this way only to show the glory of God which made me even more angry. Anyways we would never understand suffering, God's sovereignty,Satan's role in it ( considering he can use non-believers to attack us and he is the ruler of the world) and our free will. I am still assuming we have a free will to at least choose between God and Satan and the world. And when I tried warning other people that had the exact same experience as me ( almost scary identical ) they deleted my comments or ignored me. They like their new life, manifestation and thinking they are their own gods. We can also blame God here for allowing Satan to deceive the world and give them gifts, but it also shows how wicked people are with their own free will.

As I understand things, after Jesus was crucified, the gates of heaven were opened. Did the people that died before Jesus even have souls? Did they have different souls maybe similar to the type of souls that animals are supposed have? What happens to somebody's soul if they weren't quite good enough to get into heaven, but not bad enough for eternity in hell? What happens to a mentally disabled person's soul? Do they automatically get into heaven? Or maybe get reincarnated to try life again? I'm serious and I just wanna know? I believe in God And I'm not looking for an argument. I hink a lot of people missed that verse in the bible where it says that "God grieved that he made man". Maybe God chose not to know. He knew that Adam will exercise his free will with the possibility of choosing to disobey Him. Now tell me one creator or inventor on earth who created or built something that he or she knew beforehand that it will fail miserably and would cause long term damage and chaos to a lot of people and lives but still go ahead with it?? 1) Both good and bad exist for reasons known to designer (The creater)
    2) We really lack information about God
    3) Think like you are not made for yourself but for purpose of the creater. All what are happening is basic requirements for for ultimate intent of creation. So what we are talking here is our human perspectives, we think as like creation is man centered.
Bible is closed with messages direct from God delivered through holy men, personal experiences of encounter with God, and personal views. I hope there are new experiences we could get from new people inspired by The Holy Spirit in this time unfortunately there is no place for the new messages in the bible.

Then what happens with free will?
If there's a plan, we're just pawns. Why doesn't God end that plan already without all the millenia of games?
Because the game is the purpose. We're just playthings in this cruel game of God.

God cud have created a few beings who are eternally happy, like 10 families always happy, no pain no sin only joy, but why he created zillions of souls or living beings, why can't God talk to everyone of them or appear to us. Why he hide himself or remain mysterious..... Can't find my answers

I'm old now. Spent my life asking these same questions. The answer is that God is way beyond human understanding, and hidden from us. All we get is what He decides to reveal. At the end of the day, God does exactly what He wants to do, however He wants to do it. We either do it his way, or we are anhiliated on judgement day. The good news is that all who believe on the name of Jesus Christ will be saved, no exceptions.

Gis reveals Himself to each and every single human being every day. In the arms of a loved one home after many years missing, in the smile of a child towards a total stranger, in the warmth of the sun after an icy cold night, even in a flower growing out of only dust with no water anywhere. See, I think that even if God showed Himself to us in person, it still wouldnt be enough.Faith. You gotta believe that God does what He does because He loves us. He made us in his image, so we get to choose right or wrong. He wants us to trust Him. Doesnt God says in the Bible that He loves us way more than our earthly fathers ever could..

Ahh, it all makes complete sense now.
    So, in a nutshell...
God had a lot of time on his hand & was completely bored, all alone.
So for excitement, he created angels that would rebel so he could banish them to hell.
    Not satisfied with that,
he then created humans so he could commit genocide,
    & be their savior.
So all will be cowed by his might,
mystified at his incomprehensible thought processes,
    & eternally grateful
for giving them a means of saving themselves by worshipping him,
or spend an eternity in hell being tortured by the demons that he condemned there,
(so they wouldn't be bored there?).

Wow😕 We cannot know the mind of God because we are not gods. We are created beings. You have a skewed perception of God that prohibits you to have faith in the one who created you. Trust in His sovereign plan is key. This is a hard truth but true nonetheless.

I agree to what you meant.....you look for a truth that the human mind can accept while justifying the greatness of God that infact is there as we feel.
But the twisted logic this Dr gives is totally doctored and irrational.

I know right. Also let's not forget about all the historical accuracy of 6m slaves leaving Egypt without a trace and the scientific accuracy of the sun going around the earth before Joshua made it stand still.
Also remember that God, being loving and kind killed David's 7-day old child and commanded Saul to kill nursing babies.
      God is good!

I got a hard question..why didn’t God intervene on our behalf in the garden of Eden? Why didn’t God keep the tree of good and evil in heaven?I didn’t ask for the nature of sin,Adam made that decision for me😢…Millions of people are in hell because of what Adam did..Adam brought the nature of sin to mankind…God could’ve stopped Adam, but He didn’t an it saddens me,because I hate the nature of sin…how can we be full of joy living in this trash of a body?

I don't know if any explanation can suffice as long as there are going to be individuals created in the image of God who are going to spend eternity swimming under lava and brimstone without any chance to get out. Indeed there is a plan but l have a hard time believing that humans are really in that plan. Humans are simply spectators in this grand design that we are nit allowed to know.

We are ALL sinners that fall short of the glory of God. And we ALL are deserving of eternal punishment in hell because sin is so serious (sin is evil and it is the cause of all pain, death, and suffering). And that’s why Jesus suffered soooo much for us, and that’s why He died on the cross for ALL our sins (past, present, AND future sins) and rose from the dead 3 days later! Jesus did all this because He loves us sooooo much, you can’t even fully comprehend it! And you may have eternal life with Him if you repent (to change your mind about Jesus, to believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord our God) and have faith in Him, then you will be saved! (Let’s make it clear that being a good person WILL NOT get you into Heaven! You can only be saved by the grace God will show you, if you repent and have faith in Jesus and in what Jesus did for us on the cross and that He rose from the dead 3 days after He died for us! ONLY THEN, will you will be saved)! And do not wait because you do not know when you will die (sit and think deeply about that. You have NO CLUE when you will die! Today could be your last day, tonight could be your last night. You can die in your sleep or even in the next hour!) Im saying all this because I want you to realize how urgent and important it is to have Jesus! If you have Jesus, you will NEVER have to worry! You won’t have to worry about school, family problems, life, or EVEN DEATH because you will have the LORD your GOD, RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE, EVERY SINGLE DAY, EVERY SINGLE HOUR, EVER SINGLE MINUTE and EVERY SINGLE SECOND of your life! GOD can help you through ANY challenge, through ANY hardship, and through ANY depressing time in your life! GOD WILL NEVER leave you, GOD WILL NEVER forget about you, GOD WILL NEVER betray you, GOD WILL NEVER forsake you, and GOD WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!! And that is why GOD is calling you RIGHT NOW to be saved!!l

So many of you theologians feel you have to make some excuse for God creating hell. Did He create any such place? The answer is a resounding NO. The scriptures teach us that God is creating a family in His image, we are going through that process now. In time every single human being will know God.

If God was truly intelligent he would not have made human knowing we are so dysfunctional we can't even understand what he's saying. We killed his only son we turned our back on God he destroyed us twice and the third time he says I'm done if he was an intelligent species he would not have had to do so humans are poor thing to brag on if you were God

This is just an abstract question in the same realm as what if the sky was pink and if Big Foot were real, what kind of food would he like. It seems important because people are obsessed with having a one sided relationship with a god that only exists in a book. Why concern yourself with problems like this that are easily solved by admitting there is no such thing as gods. You really think problems like this would exist if there was an omnipotent all powerful god?
