"Nothing is impossible with the Lord!" - Wrong. You're employing an antiquated definition of 'Omnipotence'. God can't create round squares. He cant create married bachelors. He can't create a rock so heavy that he cannot lift it. A more nuanced and coherent definition of Omnipotence is: God can actualize *all* logically possible worlds.

He wanted to see himself outside of himself however we were poisoned by sin. A higher power created replications of himself; however, we’ve all betrayed him so he has the right to allow us to suffer and not shine all his glory over us until we become full believers. Those who believe will be able to see him in all his glory and see outside of the state and dimensions that we are limited to. Once you make it to heaven you become limitless. For example, Satan is limitless so he has the power to continuously create sin until Jesus comes back to earth on his fathers behalf. We will not be able to make it to God until we go through his one and only son and that is Jesus Christ:

You have to remember...God knew Adam would sin, but God knew that Jesus would have to die for our sins. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God wants all to be saved. Paul says that God gives everyone a measure of faith to know Him..Romans 12:3. I'll try to answer you with three thoughts.
      1. Love can only exist between two...when both have freedom to choose.
God wants a creation to know Him and to have a relationship with Him. If God forced us to love him...than the love and relationship would not be genuine. The only way to truly have a true relationship is if both parties have the ability to choose to love each other.
      2. God could have made us robots with no capability to choose...but again..that's not true love from God...and our love for Him would not be genuine.
      3. God does not send anyone to hell...they choose hell over God. If God forced them into Heaven..that would be Hell for them. Hell is separation from God and those who reject God...choose the separation.
I'll leave you with this thought. Do you want to risk an eternity away from God because of something you cannot understand or something you battle? It's apparent that your struggle reveals that God is speaking to you. I pray you accept His free gift of salvation through His son Jesus Christ before it's too late.

No one understands everything, as I do not. The only way you can really understand a peace which passes understanding is through the love of God. Love. God is love! Love creates. That's what love does. So I believe that we were created so that we may experience that Same Love . In order to experience it you must be conscious . You were created as conscious being. In order to be a conscious being you have to be conscious of your self. Self-aware! So what I believe is referred to as original sin is the illusion that we alone operate by our own power and that it is ours when in reality love is to be given not taken. This is what selfishness is. So I believe that is what is meant by the term in death there is life. Dying unto the self is the only way to truly receive life. I believe that's what is revealed or expressed by Jesus dying on the cross. That he did the same thing but he did it For All Mankind. This is just an attempt at my understanding. I am always open to learning and progressing on this spiritual path that we all are on.

That still doesn't answer the question of why we're here in the first place. That answers "what happens next?" or "What is God's plans for his people?".
In order for us to be with God, we have to exist, and God in His omniscience knew that people would reject Him. He also knew that the people who reject him would suffer eternally, so even if we have choice within our own lives, we had no choice to exist in the first place, so, logically, it's God's fault that people suffer eternally for rejecting Him.

Just as perplexing as the notion of something out of nothing is the idea that an all-perfect God could have any unfulfilled desires. This concept of desire in an all-perfect, self-contained godhead has always puzzled me. On the one hand, you have God enjoying his blissful perfection, in need of nothing and, on the other hand, that same blissfully perfect God suddenly gets a creative urge, knowing that if he acts on that urge he will be opening Pandora's Box, a box filled with so much horror and suffering any sane entity would recoil at the thought. And yet, we are asked to believe this omniscient, all-loving godhead opens Pandora's Box anyway when nothing is compelling him to do so. When absolutely nothing is forcing him to abandon his state of bliss, in which there is no evil, no suffering, and no eternal torment, nothing compelling him to end that blissful state to create a nightmare. Is it possible for a godhead to become bored with his perfection? That is a question easily overlooked in the stampede of drama that pours out of the bible from the very first chapter. Again, I ask, what could compel a blissfully perfect, loving god to disturb his eternal bliss to create a place of eternal torment for creatures who never needed to exist? This idea is a hole in the creation story big enough to drive a Mack truck through, and yet Christian drama addicts pretend they don't see it.

God's Test A Men .十 God's Testament against us letting us know what we can and cannot do. Why is there a Judgement Day? When we humans think we did no wrong ? It is there because we will definitely Sin (neurological typical) it is through witnessing unrighteousness we choose God's Righteousness. It is spoken by God that we will start turning wicked turning from children to youth. Hormone and adolescent rebellion starts around our teenage years , the Jews celebrate the coming of age around 13 years old . Mainly because the child and a teenage has the responsibility symbolically to bear their own sins from that point onwards. The Test that God allows everyone is very personal , like our fingers prints unique to each individual. God alone weights our Hearts and search the minds Jeremiah 17. It definitely will be wiser to think more seriously about life and the purpose of creating it. In order to discover/conclude Righteousness in the midst of unrighteousness and to compile a case of against each individual so that we have no excuses when we are in the hot seat. Now your question was why not make it more deliberate so we will just pick God over our own ways. It is deliberate by Almighty God to make it questionable and open ended on purpose. If God is Hovering over us showing us His Might , most will choose him out of fear and in blind obedience. There wouldn't be any Righteousness involved. You do or obey because of Fear not because you Understand it is wrong and provides no value to others. When you freely Choose what is Correct and Just in the midst of other tempting choices that could provide benefits to oneself.. That is then Righteous because you choose God's Way and not your own ways or the worldly ways. Zechariah 4 verse 6 will answer your question of God's intention in His Design of Men(humans) test . A Test of Righteousness not a test of cheap human love . Isaiah 61.

From my understanding of Scripture and also experiencing Scripture in my life, I believe that God allows us to get hurt in the dark to increase our love of the Light.
Meaning, in order for us to share in God's upmost glory, God seeks to show us both what it's like in and out of Him so that we truly desire and subsequently pursue the highest pleasures inside of Him.
Also, you'd be surprised, as I was, that unbelievers are so taken over by what they have right in front of them that most, when told of the promise, would rather blow all their money on the shiny red apple today then to spend a portion, hold fast and wait on the future apple tree.
God bless you and your brother.

Nevertheless, making a decision implies change and yet God is unchanging without shadow of turning. I assume all his knowledge and his eternal plan for creation was always known to him a priori. God is the King of kings. A king here on earth is a human being just like all of us. A king needs food, water, clothes and shelter, just like everyone else in the world. A king doesn't need a crown, yet he has a crown, which brings his kingship visual glory. A king doesn't need a throne, yet he has a throne, which also brings his kingship visual glory. A king here on earth has unneeded riches, but he has them for his glory and his pleasure. God, the King of kings, can be seen in the same light. Except, his glory is infinity times richer than a king here on earth. [Isaiah 66:1 (KJV) - Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?] God doesn't need earth, but he created earth and everything in earth for his glory and his pleasure.
We had pulled the footstool from under God's feet once we had sinned against God. We are alive because we have a purpose. We only have one true purpose, given to us from the one true purpose-giver, God. Death is the result of us choosing not to glorify God, but an alternative. We have life for the glory of God, and when we don't glorify the one true God, we must face death. But we have all the reason to glorify God, as he gave us a second chance through the sacrifice of his Son to live again; the great communication and great display of his sharing love.
      I hope this helped.

@@dralarco Meditation on the sufficiency of God does not tell me why God created man. Meditation on the sufficiency of God does not add to Him. He does not need us to meditate on Him. The question was, "why did God create {man}". Since God is complete in and of Himself (His Aseity ) He needs nothing to complete Him. He does not need our worship. Our existence does nothing to improve or add to Him.
A couple of the arguments Piper made......
I agree with Piper's argument that the overflow of His love to His creatures is displayed in creation. However, it does not say why we were created
We were created to glorify God, I agree. But again this does not really say why God created us because He does not need us to glorify Him.

    • @TheNewports
      @TheNewports Před 3 lety

@@dchaunpalu4655 God is not man (Numbers 23:19), rather He is Spirit (John 4:24). The connections you make (i.e. He doesn't need a crown but had one) from Scripture are analogies or comparisons so that we as finite creatures can understand God more. This is the special revelation of God through Scripture to show us God and His attributes. Some times anthropomorphic language (assigning human characteristics to something that is not human we can do this with inanimate earthly object too) is used.
I think your argument places, or tries to place, God in a box. To say we are alive because we have a purpose does not say why God created us.
Again, I agree with Dr Piper here. I don't disagree with your statements. What I am saying is these statements and arguments don't answer the question; "why did God create us."

God is Holy, Righteous, and Just, He will not overlook sin. (Isaiah 6, Revelation 5, Nahum 1, Revelation 20-22)
Mankind is sinful, selfish, and depraved. (Romans 3, Romans 7, Psalm 51, Jeremiah 17:9, Genesis 3, Genesis 6, and more.
Therefore, God must punish all sinners. (Romans 6:23, Ezekiel 18:20, Revelation 20-21, and more.)
Fortunately for us, God is also Loving, Merciful, and Gracious. He has made a way, and only one way for guilty sinners to be declared not guilty, and at the same time satisfy His Divine Justice. God Himself took on a human nature, Jesus of Nazareth, fully God, fully man, and lived the perfect life we never could, voluntarily gave his life on a bloody cross that we deserve, then rose from the grave to prove His Divinity and victory over death. He then ascended to Heaven where He rules and from where He will one day return to "judge the living and the dead" (2 Timothy 4). That is the gospel Truth.
Repent and believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved. That is what the bible says.

I don't plan the vacation so my family will worship me and talk about how amazing I am for planning the vacation. I didn't plan the vacation to try to manipulate them and hold it over their heads later when they disappoint me and then say, "Do your remember that vacation? Look at what I did for you and this is the thanks I get!"
No...I plan a vacation out of love for my family...even if they never thank me...I loved them enough to give them the trip of a lifetime.
When God created us...He did much in the same way. He couldn't help, but create us...to share His love with us and for us to experience the wonder of the universe, even if we never thank Him for it. Think about all the good things you have experienced in this life and what you would have missed out on...if God had said, "No...I'm not going to make humans because some will be ungrateful."

Many times we pray for things we think we need and we don't actually need. Sometimes we don't get prayers answered because there is better in store for us than what we wanted. Sometimes it is because we need to truly humble ourselves.
God is God. He is not Santa or any other fairytale creature that has to do anything for us.
Some things he allows to be taken away from us even when it hurts us so that we will focus on Him instead of the things or people that we put above him in our hearts and minds.
I say this because I have struggled in many ways in life. I have had heart break that almost broke me completely, I have been poor, sick, etc.

God the Father is our true Father and we are his children, therefore we as children on this Earth have the ability to obtain what he is; and become an eternal Father, with the ability to have children and therefore do the same for our children.

Ask yourself why would you get a house pet . What will a pet do for you? Not too much besides keep you company. Or why would you have kids? Are you expecting to get some kind of great reward or something in return?

First of all, I wish to say that while pastor John’s remarks are feasible in answering the question “Why God created Us?” they may not be however God’s actual reasons, Only God knows the the true complete answer to this question, not man and probably not any man living here on earth. I don’t understand why people think they can answer for God implying they know as God knows?
The best answer should have been something along the line that “I don’t really know the complete answer to that question”. However, here are some passages in the scriptures and here is what I believe but this would be my answer and not necessarily God’s. There are always going to be things we cannot answer especially when we are trying to answer for God Himself.

It is an answer to satan's appeal regarding his sentence when he rebelled against God. ' "it is unfair" ' will be his objection regarding God's judgment upon him. ' "how can a loving God cast his creatures to hell?" ' is the most valid appeal or objection. God must maintain His perfect character in executing His judgment against His erring creatures. God saved us, not because of love, but because of justice. He is Just. Our Lord Jesus Christ satisfies God's justice. Our point of contact with God is always through His justice, never through His love, whether you are a believer or an unbeliever. No sentimentalism or emotional activities is involved in saving our souls, else He will be partial. He is impartial. Thus maintaining His perfection.

If i had a choice, i would not have been created, Even if theres a heaven. I wish i didnt have to say that. But thats how i really feel. With all the pain and suffering in this world . Its not worth it.

You still have these choice. Either to accept Jesus and live without pain and suffering or reject Him and experience the second death. Where you cease to exist any longer
Infact your assertion include you must have a life and freewill in order to choose never to exist. And this is the chance you have been given on this earthly life
And trust me if you even had this chance in the preworld and had a slight knowledge of how Heaven is. You would have craved to live on earth and simply accept Jesus to go there
But remember all the pain and suffering you go through on this earth is for an experience of what good and bad really is.
And to seek God and have a relationship with Him
Remember He is not far from any of us.
      Acts 17:27

We are ALL sinners that fall short of the glory of God. And we ALL are deserving of eternal punishment in hell because sin is so serious (sin is evil and it is the cause of all pain, death, and suffering). And that’s why Jesus suffered soooo much for us, and that’s why He died on the cross for ALL our sins (past, present, AND future sins) and rose from the dead 3 days later! Jesus did all this because He loves us sooooo much, you can’t even fully comprehend it! And you may have eternal life with Him if you repent (to change your mind about Jesus, to believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord our God) and have faith in Him, then you will be saved! (Let’s make it clear that being a good person WILL NOT get you into Heaven! You can only be saved by the grace God will show you, if you repent and have faith in Jesus and in what Jesus did for us on the cross and that He rose from the dead 3 days after He died for us! ONLY THEN, will you will be saved)! And do not wait because you do not know when you will die (sit and think deeply about that. You have NO CLUE when you will die! Today could be your last day, tonight could be your last night. You can die in your sleep or even in the next hour!) Im saying all this because I want you to realize how urgent and important it is to have Jesus! If you have Jesus, you will NEVER have to worry! You won’t have to worry about school, family problems, life, or EVEN DEATH because you will have the LORD your GOD, RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE, EVERY SINGLE DAY, EVERY SINGLE HOUR, EVER SINGLE MINUTE and EVERY SINGLE SECOND of your life! GOD can help you through ANY challenge, through ANY hardship, and through ANY depressing time in your life! GOD WILL NEVER leave you, GOD WILL NEVER forget about you, GOD WILL NEVER betray you, GOD WILL NEVER forsake you, and GOD WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!! And that is why GOD is calling you RIGHT NOW to be saved!!I!

When you become fearful that is Satan trying to scare you from doing what your spirit is longing for.
      Just pray out loud.
Say in the mighty name of Jesus Christ who saved me from all sin I am now protected from all evil spirits. The Holy Spirit is filling every ounce of my body and no other spirit has a bond or hold on me any longer.
All spirits of evil must leave my presence and the presence of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ for He is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and the very Word of God.
Jesus please send your peace into my body and mind and let me rest in you.
      Thank you so much Jesus.
