We had a beige & white with the red and white leather 55 Star Chief Custom Catalina 2d ht. My dad started hot rodding it since new. Typical 50's cruising machine. Duels with Smitties big wide chrome trumpets, duel points 4v, back draging the ground, spindles. blue reflectors wind deflectors, curb feelers, light up hood ornament, when the 57's came out, added those fender mounted lights, chrome skirts and all the added chrome bumper add on. Kids in the neighbor would wait for my dad to get home from work to hear it run from down the block.
1:16 The stainless rear quarter molding and fender skirts really add to a beautiful design!
thats the best looking car ive ever seen. period. amazing restoration as well.
👍 I've got only 2 words to say about this beauty!... Real Sweet... 🙂
In 1958 Mom bought this exact one, used , leather interior, low mileage for $1200.
Another specimen of a real Pontiac. Sorry that the make fell over time.
Nice
She's a genuine beauty but please slow down the camera... wow, I had couple these same color combo back when cars were cars & could tell you all stories about this same American car that this younger generation just wouldn't understand!
Correct make: Star Chief Custom Catalina.
I don’t care for the skirts or the visor. Otherwise this is one beautiful car!
Do these old cars have seat belts? If not would it hurt the value to put in seat belts? I really don't want to drive a vehicle without seat belts.
Other than that it's beautiful. Also would it hurt the value to put in an O/D? I would like to drive it to LVNV on occasion. I would like to buy one of these old 1950's especially with an inline 6 and 3-on-the-tree transmission.
I wish I knew the price.
Do you guys have a financing department?
