The Z-23 really refines the German DD line into what we expect from high tier German DD's. Decent concealment, hard hitting guns, good speed, great torpedo reload, but poor maneuverability and AA. As a DD for cap contesting, she is best played cautiously. Use her stealth to maneuver into an advantageous position and the hydro against DD's sitting in smoke and you'll enjoy this line greatly! Plus, those torpedoes are just spam worthy! :)

I had trouble with this ship... It's Hydro is meh and it's guns are meh for fighting enemy destroyers. It's maneuverability/gun traverse is lacking too.

I find it funny how you switched to 150s after 1 game with 128s, I did exactly the opposite. Hahahah. I loved 150s on Gaede, but not on Z-23.
