Hamilton FURIOUS At Mercedes After W15 PERFORMANCE TEST!

  • Lewis Hamilton’s controversial move to Ferrari did not come without any thorough thinking about his future with Mercedes, and now that the dust has settled, there have been some factors that the fans and the experts might have missed a couple of months ago that did hold the truth about Hamilton’s devotion to Mercedes and how it fell off. The most important thing is that Hamilton signed the contract without even testing out the 2024 version of Mercedes’ car-or the W15-in Bahrain, where all of the questions would’ve been answered-but he signed the contract a couple of days after admitting to having tried it in the simulator! So, how did Hamilton feel about the W15 and what does that say for Mercedes in their journey of building a championship-winning car without Hamilton modeling it?

The 2025 car will be pretty much be the exact same as the 2024 car, and Hamilton has revealed he drove the W15 in the simulator, could it be that due to this W15 data, he signed for Ferrari because of it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments if you think whether Mercedes will perform good or bad during 2024! 🤔
Also, pre season testing is starting in about 2 weeks... finally 👀😅

Charles and Lewis have always looked to have had a better relationship than others for sure!

If the ‘24 merc is fast, he might win the 8th championship this year.
Instead, if the ‘24 Ferrari is fast, he might win the championship in ‘25.
Two bites at the 8th championship cake. Good strategy.

So you have to understand the facts that $446 million deal doesn't happen overnight. It would have been known for a very long time. Long enough to give the car it development direction and find a driver.
Then there is that Allison is at the point of development. Clearly the car is tailor made but not for Hamilton or Russell. There is only one driver that I know with a skill level that can handle a strong front end and loose rear that puts the car on knifes edge with a gain of +1 second / lap. Of course it will be trash for Hamilton because it is not Hamilton's comfort zone. Also the missing downforce and ground effect has been fixed on W15 making it a very strong car if you can tame it with a right driver.
If you know your F1 history there are things that Allison has a need to put right with Ferrari. For a hint.
And there is the February 21st coming and you have outgoing key personnel and Hamilton leaving. Mercedes has only one option to bench the lot of it. Sabbatical for all that are leaving. Seriously Hamilton has $446 million reasons not to race Ferrari on the track and loss of information gained from the new car 2024 that can't go to Ferrari. Hamilton is not going to be let anywhere near the car.
You also need to understand the timing so that there is only one driver available to save the day as there would be many critics. All current F1 drivers have a contract for 2024. It will be interesting few weeks.

Ferrari have the best chance to get the 2026 regs right - they build good engines and they have a better idea of the ground effect than Merc. Not only that. but 2026 regs will focus on inwash rather than outwash. Which is what Ferrari ran in 2022/2023 so they'll have experience. Plus they have quite a decent number of engineers going over from other teams. They are primed and ready for a 2026 championship if you ask me. I must admit though, after seeing the RBR reveal and the side by side differences in the '23/'24 cars I think it could be lights out for the rest of the field. From what I see, they've further reduced CD, the overall car is lower, and the floor is very clean. BTW I'm not a RBR/Verstappen fan (I think he's a man child), I want to see a competitive field and good racing. I hate it when Max runs away and wins by a landslide. Would you watch your favorite sport if you already knew the outcome? Where's the fun in that? i'm glad hamilton has left for ferarri, the way toto wolf treated hamilton in the verstappen cheating saga of abu dhabi to stop lewis overtaking micheal schumacker to become the only driver to win 8 world championships, is disgusting and a clear indication he too was involved, toto wolf pretended to stand by lewis in the beginning just to save his own face, a true backstabber, and the worst kind, so good on you lewis, you have done the right thing, and you will win that 8th world championship, go on mate become the only man in history to achieve 8 titles, and do it in true hamilton style,

Hamilton is a good driver who wins when he has an utterly dominate car. Witness how he did in 2022 and 2023. His only hope to win again is to find another dominant car. Failing that he will find an utterly dominate salary. He has all of the loyalty of a feral cat.

Given that Mercedes have failed to develop a great car over the last couple of years, despite several successful years of Hamilton data, what makes people think they will get it right in 24, 25, 26 or 27. And what makes people think that Ferrari might not. I reckone he will knock it out the ballpark with the Maranello squad

I think he made a dumb choice if he thinks he is going to win championships with Ferrari. Like the video says the drivers were not the problem. If you wanted to shake things up you should have started with the strategist that made shit calls everyday. You know its a shit call when even the driver says why the hell are we doing that, and stop inventing. Ferrari will be no closer to a championship than they were last year. Hamilton might as well face it, when the FIA set him up to lose against max in that final race and Mercedes failed to build a more competitive car that was the end of Hamiltons chances at a championship. should have just stuck with the line up they had. They say Leclerc is the future but the man has the worst pole position to win percentage there is. Probably not his fault more than likely the is the problem in race trim and shitty tyre deg.

The whole FIA rigging the final race of 2021 was the reason why after 30 years of following f1, I lost ALL respect for it as a true pinnacle sport. Lewis truly has his 8th championship that he EARNED. It’s clear the FIA did not want a black guy to have the record.
Lewis joining Ferrari is a shock and I still don’t like the thought of him going to a challenging and emotionally fired team.. but now after spending some days thinking about it I understand why he chose to leave Mercedes. It’s probably his best bet for himself as winning a championship between 2025-26 and as a brand with the most reputable team in F1.

A very sad and disappointing day for F1. It’s evident that this is an old boys club controlled by 3 perhaps 4 arrogant team owners. For decades we have suffered through an inferior grid with the likes of Haas, Williams, Alpine, AT/RB2, and now AR/KS. Something needs to change to put a competitive grid on the track. These teams SUCK, they need to either commit to spend annually 100’s of millions in development, design, etc. stop taking 2nd hand power units or SELL. F1 needs new blood to invigorate the sport with the likes of Porsche and Cadillac. Is it always going to be the same 3 or 4 teams on the podium, if it is then F1 is RIGGED.
