In the decade after the Vietnam War, more than 80,000 Vietnamese people moved to Australia, many as refugees.
Among them was Kim Huyn and his family. Kim reflects on the difficulties his parents faced when deciding to come to Australia.
On August 18, 2023, Australia marks the 50th anniversary of the end of its involvement in the Vietnam War with a national service at the Australian Vietnam Forces National Memorial in Canberra.
