Why the UK though? So many other countries they could go to better suited to them in terms of language, religion, lifestyle etc. Their new life is crippling the UK and its just BS that they cant find a better solution to debt in their own country.

It's because many vietnamese are living legally in the UK that lives a better life in the old days and they have no idea whats the current state of the UK economy. What's worse is English is the only language vietnamese are familiar with and of course the British Pounds can feed and save their families from debt.
For example 3£ is 100,000 or 97,000vnd which is enough to buy groceries that can feed a family for 1 day with fresh, vegetables, meat, snacks and spices. Mind you, 100,000; 200,000 and 500,000vnd bill for Vietnamese is alot of money, like 50 and 100£ for the British. The differences is that the British Pound worth more

@yevonsama I think it's not propaganda mate. It's pretty much the same in the US when the older generation saying that America and the UK is a paradise and the Promise Land because back then it was true. There's alot of work but no employee. But these uneducated people don't know the current economic state in the 2 countries where there's less job and more people, while those who are educated are well aware of the situation and decided to stay in the country

What choice do they have? Sadly they have to rely on the services of the traffickers to get into the UK. How do you know they won't take it out on the man in the video for bringing along a journalist? That could quite literally get the Vietnamese man or his family killed.

I know of a few cases of Vietnamese people in the UK trading bitcoin with illegal immigrants. They will receive cash and transfer bitcoin to Vietnam. These bit coins will be bought back in the Vietnamese market and converted into Vietnamese currency.

Living under Vietnamese communists , they have to quit their country to find bright future for them. They knew the living condition of working and living in UK . After some years in GB, they come back to VN and they can built a big house or a shop. The Vietnamese gouvernment knew this problem very well because they are the organizer. The largest Vietnamese group come from Nghe An where Ho Chi Minh was born.

The Vietnamese have not restrained their fertility and are suffering poverty as a result. It is NOT reasonable for them to expect another country to provide for their excessive numbers of offspring.

    • @yevonsama
      @yevonsama Před 20 dny

actually, the government limited their fertility. But they can think it is evidence of a brutal communist government who is violating human rights.
However, I don't think it is because of fertility.
I know at least two reasons:
      - Jobless - > tries to find a way to earn more money.
      - Propaganda about the paradise of UK, the land of democracy where you can earn much more money - > tries to find a way to earn (much) more money. But to tell the truth, to become Illegal immigration, you need plenty of money.
Can you believe it? We have news about the couple who fled to China to work. After earning plenty of money, they return to Vietnam, use almost all of their money to build the huge museum (as evidence to show how successful their lives are). And the money ran out. They flee to China to work again, and are suddenly killed in the fighting between gangs in China.
So, they are "some poor guys living in a hopeless situation that has to flee to another country just to get democracy"? Do you really believe in that story?

Weakness of UK Gov to deal with this matter. How are the police not raiding these nail bars-? These nail bars are everywhere! People come here illegally bcz they know there are ZERO consequences. Japan, Singapore, South Korea and China are all wealthy countries they could move to closer than the UK- but they dont bcz they know the UK is soft touch! I am assuming they don't pay income/council tax? - and so what benefit are they to our country?

actually, I still hold the interview of Lee Kuan Yew during 1967. He mocked Saigon during 1967 under South Vietnam government is worse than Saigon during 1954 when the French was ruling it.
Period 1975-1986 is awful and stupid. But it doesn't mean the period of 1955-1975 is good. It just better than a awful and stupid period.
The Philippines was never a communist country, they were even ruled by American until 1945, and it is still a mess until now.
