- This time on Khaane Mein Kya Hai, we are introducing a new series called Khaane Mein Kaun Hai. As the name suggests it's about Kunal eating with guests from different walks of life.
For our 1st episode of the series, we have actor, ad film director and above all fellow foodie, Gajraj Rao who loves Biryani. In fact, Kunal has finally found his match.
And to enjoy an afternoon of fun and food we are in Kebabs and Kurries at the ITC Grand Central in Mumbai, because Gajraj and I both love the Serai Ki Biryani here.

Biryani is the Samurai or Shahenshah was epic statement.. This dish creates its own space on any occasion
There's a scene in the movie Aamir where Gajraj Ji's menacing character is feasting on a huge, lavish mughlai spread while parallelly continuing to harass Rajiv Khandelwal's character on phone. I get hungry everytime I watch that scene.
This reminded me of that.
That movie has one of Gajraj ji's best performance.

Being punjabi my family including me were not big fans of biryani, we loved our mutton/channa/veg pulaos but then I tried hyderabadi chicken biryani and now I love it more than any version of cooked rice.

Meri bhi biryani sey ek yaadein judi hai, hum Hyderabad ek shadi mey gaye the waha kisi ney Paradise biryani key barein mey bataya hum ney 1kg pack karwa liya aur room par lekar aa gaye jab humney packet open kiya purey room mey biryani ki hi mehek ho gayi hum ab kya karne fattafat humney biryani khatam ki aur humey uncle dinner key liye bulaney aa gaye hum kya karne mana toh kar nahi saktey the so humney jabardasti plate liya aur logo ko dikhane ke liye thoda thoda khaya aur socha ki shaadi key khaney behtareen biryani thi. 😂
