      Unfortunately no cost difference just for flight training. But if you plan to do a 4 year degree, get scholarship at an approved aviation college that include flight training, then yes, the fees will be way lower than doing a flight training alone

    First, CONGRATULATIONS on getting your airline job back ✈️🥳
    I hope you keep making content like this to us aspiring immigrant pilots. Will be applying for student visa in a couple of years.. i hope converting my flight time would be painless (not expensive), and converting student visa to working visa is easy and i dont have to go back. 😅

    I have a weird question, i am training in Saskatchewan, but it’s been 5 months I haven’t made alot of friends and connections. My typical day is like going for a lesson briefing with instructor and coming back. And the place isn’t too crowdy. I don’t get to meet lots of people. Can you suggest something on this, sorry for this weird question 😅

    • @flyingtrucker438
      @flyingtrucker438  Před 2 lety

      Dear friend, firstly I want to appreciate the fact that you did ask me this question. You are missing out on a lot of information by not talking to people. Also aviation is all about knowing people, so you need to make friends. What I would recommend is stay back at the flight school after your lesson for a couple of hours. Just go talk to different students who come there. Share ideas. Don't be shy. You can also use the time to study at school. Later go hang out with them. Again don't believe 100% what everyone says. Do your due diligence to get the facts checked. This is my recommendation.

    How type rating works
    Will the model of the plan such as A320 or 787 based on the pilot's choice? Or is the the company who will decide what plane should a pilot be trained on?. For example my favorite plane is 777 and 787 will I be trained on my preferred choice or will the company trained me on a plan that they want me to be trained on.

    Can you make a video regarding typical minimum requirements for various types of pilot jobs from CPL all the way to Regionals/Majors. Job posting frequently mention 2000 total time, multi-crew, multi-engine, turbine time, PIC, etc. But there seem to be a gap between entry level jobs and those that require those thousands of hours. How do you bridge that gap?

    I am 25 years old, I dont have a bachelor degree.
    Am interested enrolling in a flight school and work my way to being an airline pilot.
    Do I need to get my bachelor degree before attending the flight school or not considering I want to be an airline pilot.

    My second question is that can I get a commercial multi engine rating after getting ppl and skip the Commercial single engine rating? I know that i will have less hours than 250 to apply for multi engine commercial jobs but I can complete those remaining hours by working as a single engine ppl pilot and complete the hours too? Will that be cheaper ? I need your assistance. PPl will get me 60 hours and the typ rating of multi engine I believe is 40 hours. The remaining 150 I can complete by working as a skydive pilot or something in that area.

    Machane i have a question, im 28 is it too late to start flight training and build a career as an airline pilot 😅 ?
    Serious question though! Been thinking to start flight training but im really afraid to start. I'm currently working in Novascotia and waiting for my PR.
    And do you think if its worth to take 70k - 100k loan to join flight school ? I'm asking this because I have no idea about the job market in this industry after corona.

    • @flyingtrucker438
      @flyingtrucker438  Před 2 lety

      If you are really passionate then go for it. Because it's lot of hard work. If you are planning to be a pilot so you can be rich or thinking about it as a fancy job then probably best option is not to go for it.
      Now talking about the job market, it's way better than what it used to be where the struggle used to last years until you get a good job.

    • @flyingtrucker438
      @flyingtrucker438  Před 2 lety

      Hey sajith, firstly you ll need to get your license converted. That means you ll have to do the cpl written exams, flight tests, ifr tests. Which ll definitely costs some money and time. Once you get your license converted, either you can work in small aviation business like charters or Medevacs since you need a PR to apply in airlines. Now let's say you have your PR you can apply at airlines in Canada and honestly the companies here does not care the type you flew before. They distinguish it as jet, prop, piston. Now if you are only interested in flying an airbus, then air canada or air transat are your options.

      British Columbia has the best weather compared to the other provinces. But that doesn't guarantee that you can finish your training faster. It all depends on what the availability is at the flight schools, how busy they are, how much are you willing to push yourself, your financial situation etc...
      But if weather is your concern for flying, provinces like Manitoba let you fly until - 25 degrees or so.

    Hi Chetaa. Iam a Big fan of yours. I have done my engineering in India, but my dream is to become a pilot. Need to know few things like :
    How is the work permit calculated once cpl is done?
    How long i can stay in Canada after my cpl if i dont get my PR done?
    Do i need a IELTS score?
    Also, can you drop your Facebook id here so that i can stay in touch with you.

    • @flyingtrucker438
      @flyingtrucker438  Před 2 lety +2

      Ielts is not mandatory. But some schools require them.
      Work permit will be given based on the amount of time you did the studies. Anything more than 2 years you ll get 3 years of work permit.
      Don't worry about PR. It ll happen provided you take the right steps.
