Use the phone at 720p and 60hz. I wanna know how much SOT you can get with that kind of settings. This might be helpful for a trip you know.
Can you do a video with the lil hack of using the battery saver on with the 120Hz running to see if it really works and gives you more battery life please
Depending on how much I use it ( Since I have only had to it for 2 days now - I think) I can get a day and half to even two days at times, which is amazing.
Although that is cause I do my best to preserve battery aka 60Hz FHD+ and power saving mode. :)
I currently have a one plus 7t love the fast charging really want to try the s21 ultra you think this would be a good buy also play allot of cod mob

finally a real life battery drain test, really appreciate it man. also I get 7 hours screen on time on my note 20 ultra snapdragon with mix usage of wifi and 5g but with full HD plus 120hz.
Likewise. Sometimes six hours of SOT or so depending on how long I'm on WIFI.
Turn the GPS off and set the individual apps to open GPS locations only when the apps are in use. This will save a good amount battery life.

Kool work area. Just throw some carpet down to get rid of some of the echo and it will be nearly perfect. The 21 Ultra is a definite beast. Hopefully Samsung sends us Note Ultra users some camera software updates for those great new features. By the way, are you still staying away from Power Director? It's not perfect but in my latest video I did more editing than I ever did and PD worked like a champ. Only the music came from somewhere else. I use my Note Ultra as a camera and like you I edit my videos on my phone. Gr8 vid as usual. 📱 🇺🇸
Thanks! Yea still working on the setup. I plan on adding a rug and some sound absorbing pads on the wall as well. Powerdirector had always worked great with video footage from my phone. But when I try to edit footage that was taken on my Sony camera, that's when it would have problems. I'll have to try it again.👍

my S21ultra consumps reproduceable 15% / hour when screen is on at 25% brightness, wlan, gps off, normal whatsapp/instagram/facebook/mail (all apps darkmode). means that lifetime is about 6:30 hours until battery dead. Is this normal? Because in all reviews they get 9-12 hours, one review says up to 16 hours. but how are these high results are possible?
I keep my screen to adaptive also. Its not that bad on the battery since even on adaptive mode, the screen run most of the time at 60. unless you game or actively touche your screen.

turn off all notifications n all widgets like whether,... low refresh screen , hd+ screen , dark mode, put power mode on medium so turn off always on display, limit cpu to %70 , try to put phone on power saving as much as possible
then turn on mobile data and Hotspot all ze day , zen use fb , messenger , insta, videos, but don't play video games , don't use camera

İ got the Xperia 1 3 and everyone said it's battery life is crap. But when i compare your usages with mine the battery life is pretty much the same. On 60 Hz i watched CZcams for 2 hours and 21 with %21 usage. Twitter 1 hour and 8 minutes with %9 usage.
I got 6hr 33 mins screen on time from 100% charge yesterday going into this morning before phone hit 12%. Mostly CZcams and Netflix and a little Google browsing. Once I got on Netflix battery started draining fast and I had on battery save mode the whole time

Hopefully my exynos in Australia does well. I have it on 4g as where I am no 5g. Unless I go to Brisbane. I took it off the charger 21 and a half hours ago. 3hr and 35min screen on. 46% battery left. It's saying I have about 19 hrs left but it's morning here so will end up using a bit during the day. So don't think I'll get another 19 hrs out of it. I think so far so good

I think 7h SoT is pretty average for 5000mAh, in fact going by what apps you used, probably a bit disappointing? Before I sent my Pixel 5 back I was getting 9-10h with 5g on all the time as a satnav. That was running at 90Hz! Even my old iPhone XS with 87% battery capacity got me, 6h SoT, on LTE used as a satnav on about 60% brightness and that battery is half the size. I do not know how Samsung gets such sub-par battery compared with others? Maybe reviewers are comparing it with the relatively poor s20U?
Anyway, even 7h is enough for most average consumers so little to complain about and hopefully, it will reach its potential with some updates?
It’s running 120hz ! You get a solid 1-2 hr more with 60hz ! 😅

Glad I can be of help. Honestly I don't have a specific percentage when I charge my phone. I usually just throw it on the charger before bed

All Samsung model have this problem 1% drain after charging at 100%. Now I have a huawei P30 pro amazing battery, charge at 100% and 1% drain after 35mins.
I charge mine when it hits 40% or 39% and will be trying to take it off charge at around 80% to save battery cycle life.
I have processing on wonder if that why my battery drains fast?

I've been considering buying a samsung's 25w charger or not. Im using an apple 18w charger which came with the ipad pro, I'm afraid that may cause damages to my s21 Ultra, can you give me some advices? Should I but another charger or not. Thanks
I just looked it up for you online and it says it doesn't damage the phone's battery, so you can use the iphone charge plug if you want.

On a normal day the battery last two days before charging again.
On a heavy usage day; I would say a day and half.
It's a super good phone with an amazing battery compared to the iPhone 6s I had before.
i dont get how people get so much screen on time , im at 3.5 hours SOT with 38% , my carrier is verizon and spotify took about 20% of my battery as well so i guess i would be at 58% if i didnt use spotify today

The battery life on my S21 Ultra Exynos suck... Some people say you have to use it for a while for AI to kick in
It's so bad for me, 2 awful exynos phones, second one was a lot better but still not one day battery, now i got a snapdragon one and it looks to be a teeny bit better, I'll use it for a few more days and if doesn't get better guess i'm waiting for the iphone 13 and switching to it
@@frezzyk1ng774 Well, before you make any crazy choices I don't think going to iPhone is good, what I'd advice you to do is watch a couple battery life saving tutorials like deep sleeping apps, pitch black mode in all apps, battery saving with adaptive display and also check your connectivity on mobile data, it almost all the time switches to 5G and it keeps the 5G antenna draining a lot of battery. All these tips gave me like almost double battery life.

Not sure if its the calibration issue or not properly optimize but seems like a lot of people are having battery and heating issues with s21 and ultra.
Buying mine next week.. I've been debating on this or the z fold 2, But I'm not huge on the foldables.

I'm very intrigued by foldables as well, but they're still in their infancy. I think foldables will be legit in 3 or 4 years. They need to get the durability sorted and get the price down before I'll even begin to consider them.

I've been after the Z fold 2 for a while, But again, There's no water resistance, No dust resistance..I never get my devices wet like that, But all it takes is that one time getting caught in thrashing rain and your jeans getting wet enough to screw it up, then what .
@@zachcline7555 that's where I'm at too. Like, I'm SUPER interested in them, but the tech isn't as refined as I'd like it to be. Someday it will be though. Until then, I'll just stick with the candy bar style. I'd be interested in a folding tablet though. Like an 8.5 inch front screen that opens to a 10 inch screen. It could function as a small tablet, a full size tablet, or like a Chromebook. Do something like that and I'm definitely interested.

Strange, but my 1,5 year-old Iphone 11 pro max still can reach better screen on time than my brand new S21 Ultra. I know 120hz eats more battery, but after how all the reviews praised the battery capacity of the s21 Ultra, I was rather dissapointed. Or maybe my device have some problems...
I just bought an S21 Ultra. Unfortunately, when I open the camera, it starts to heat up a lot, and up to ten minutes of working the frame becomes quite hot and tedious .Is your S21 the same?please help me.thanks

I have s21 ultra but the battery is bad for me.. sot only 3 4 hours only for whatsapp and toutibe maybe i get the bad unit. Then i sell my s21 ultra traded to ip12promax and so far so good the batt in iphone is so great.

Now i got a snapdragon, it's my first day but it still is pretty awful 4h 26 sot now with 33 remaining, but with low brightness now on youtube, normal, outdoor usage kills the battery so fast, there is something wrong with samsung

I'm facing a lot of issues with my exynos version.. Horrible really.. Have asked for a replacement unit.. Hopefully that will be better.

My first Day of experience was 5h15m of screen time in FHD+. It was nothing that really good...
It Takes a couple of days for the phone to learn your usage so that the battery will adapt and last longer.

Hey guys, did some changes to get more juice (dark Mode, 60hz, bixby routines, limit some apps in background, etc) got 6:30 average screen time. Something between 5:30 and 8:00. Câmera usage have a huge consumiption of The battery. Considering The size of The screen and The is a good battery (not mind blowing). IF u use Just for whatch vídeos and social media Will get Something around 8 or 9 hours. Pretty good. Just a point: The camera system is really insane. Woth every penny

I'm not impressed with the battery life 😒, my budget phone Motorola fusion plus one had better performance.
Budget phones usually do last longer. They don't have to power a high resolution display running 120HZ. If I were to bring the resolution down to 1080p and 60hz, which you do have the option to do, the battery would last a lot longer.
