somehow, someway, cars and guns just go hand and hand. resin stuff and woodworking/furniture as well as video games and airsoft have also found a place in my heart
OK. I'm only 5 minutes into this video and I've experienced a range of emotions that CZcams videos don't usually provide. Due to the vastness of the Internet and my interests, I have zero idea who this Cleetus guy is, but your passion shows me that you care a lot and that the Cleetus community is strong. I want to know more about it, cause I like cars, so I don't know how this was never recommended to me. And all that makes me laugh so hard, because we are all part of different Internet communities that rarely meet unless we have something in common. It makes me think about our lives in such a different way. And I'm moved by the fact that I feel your passion so strongly even though I don't know what you are talking about. Does anyone understand what I'm trying to say?

Nice of yo to "Do it for Dale". I really enjoyed watching Dale race, and got to meet him and chat a couple times. He was a really down-to-Earth, decent man and it's a shame we lost him so young.
It truly is a fitting tribute to Dale Sr. I had the unfortunate experience of being a temp laborer on Jr's pit crew on that fateful day. What a great way to keep his memory alive and support a fellow CZcamsr.

That did come out crystal clear Ben and it's a cool casting and a fitting tribute to the late Dale Earnhardt. I've seen numerous events on Utube of other channels who raced at Cletus' events. Cheers Mate from this old retired coot living the dream in Tennessee.

I had to eat my words on that one! Right until it fell out the mould I wondered what the point was. I thought it was going to be boring, but it really works. The simplicity and subtle colours are great. The beautiful clear cast helps too of course.

Dude you got one of the EARLY bundles. I remember when he announced the ones with the wigs were unavailable but you could still get the bundle without it for the same price. Still bought one or 2 just to support.

That looks really good. I'm wondering, next time you do something like it, how it would look as an action scene with a tire or a few tires floating around in the resin and one off the car would look? a little Sand or effect of sand shooting out from under maybe. Just ideas as I am no artist and what you created is phenomenal.
It’s so weird. In another life it seems back when I was idk how old, born in 88 don’t know when Dale died but I actually remember watching that race. Didn’t watch too much after a year or so after he died.

Cletus should have several of these made and have them made in the trophies so he could let the winner of one of these events hold it for so long before the next winter got it and then he had some backups in case you wanted to handle them as special

He's done a lot to keep a great local track open and the encroaching subdivisions at bay. In a time where tracks are closing all over the US, he's done a lot to keep a place for us to race open. That track is about an hour south of me, so I've spent a lot of my years racing on it.
Ben I also bought the same bundle but I chose the orange Freedom Construction T-Shirt. I absolutely loved that you chose to do this. Never did I ever think you were a Holden Commodore owner, and it's a very beautiful car. Maybe a second channel is in order?

Came out cool. I hope he gets it. About 2 years ago I spent a little over 12 hours hand tooling a piece of leather with one of their t shirt designs (the track guys one) along with a hand made leather “FF” keychain. Not sure if he ever received it or opened it or anything, but I’m sure he has more to do than open fan mail now days. Never thought I’d see this cross over between you and cleet, but I’m all about it.

When Jeff retired, I started losing interest in Nascar and after about another year, I stopped watching it. But, I did spend hours and hours watching it on TV.
