I know y’all are waiting on some bleacher updates. Long story short I grew a pair and ordered the foot boards in aluminum. Updates coming soon 🇺🇸
Damn ok brother !
So aluminum floors with wood Seats ?
Lmaooo he said he grew a pair 🤣🤣🤣
That's so cool to see you putting the money and effort into a track, we can't have motorsport if we don't have tracks!
Yeaaaaaah
It will come with time. And more T-shirt buying
Ronnie is dead to me. Glad the irrigation is in now too. That fert I put down earlier this week should be kicking in soon and we will get that grass greened back up nice!
We all wept for you when we saw him rip up that beautiful turf. Stay strong, brother.
RIP RONNIE 🙏 ⚰
I have faith you can get it back to its prior condition.
Thank you for taking car of the ff grass
In all fairness...there isn't a "Stay off the grass" sign present
Cleetus is simultaneously 25 years old with his cars and 85 years old with his lawn.
Right
GET OFF MY LAWN YOU KIDDS!!!!
That’s the The perfect balance~
True
I would be too if I spent that much on grass 😪
who knew you could watch 20 minutes of someone laying pipe and its youtube approved.
I want to like it but I ain't tryna mess up the 69 😂😂
Yo good one 😂
I love how upset Cleet gets over his lawn.
It's more of a joke then anything
HEY! GET OFF MY LAWN!
Just wait until someone smashes a sprinkler.
Sadly, he is getting old lmao.
Two words...... "Florida Man"
Cleetus: Has 4 cars with 1K+ WHP
Also Cleetus: “Having this remote for this water system is the coolest thing!”
Normalization is a hell of a drug
Only 4? A you sure? 😂
sometimes its the little things
@@unsaved013 quite often its the little things. Little details makes the build, attention to detail.
Every time he does something to the track other (smaller) track owners go "huh......I need that..."
“Didn’t have the technology in the 70s” but watch water flow on the ground to decide drain placement 🤣 HELL YEAH BROTHER
My type of mechanic old school
Pretty sure that method has been around since the ancient Greeks
😆😆
They didn't know shit runs downhill in the 70s
😅
"its called a french drain"
_next clip_
Cleetus: "so the french pipe"
It's hard for a Florida man to learn a new language that quick
"So weve installed the freedom pipe"
@@Eargesplitten-Loudenboomer Read that in Cleets voice in my head, and audibly laughed.
@Damnpunk 78 it is AG in North America too, but we actually call it Weeping tile for the days when it was a terracotta tiles and pipe. A French drain is just the rocks with no pipe. Yes , there should always be rocks, the mesh will just get clogged with dirt.
@Damnpunk 78 Yep. When I dug one around my garage, I used the perforated pipe with mesh and gravel. Still works well after about 15 years. Dug a big sump in the back corner for the water to go.
Shout out to Allen for always being squared away and on point!!
Michael Clark I’m Allen.... and also, I had a good buddy growing up named Mikel Clark! Very weird lol
He is a bit of a nut.
You know someone was/is in the military when they say squared away 😂 af guy here
Allen Carabajal - That’s awesome man he must have been a good dude! I grew up in Ft Lauderdale..
TheHuskersrule22- Ha ha old habits for sure..
Sales reps are a trip man. I never thought I’d hear an outdoor all weather storage box being referred to as “a beautiful grey box”
He said a couple things I had to do a double-take on, but I deal with these types on a weekly basis with my job, so not all that surprising haha. "Just like the play button on your video" LOL I mean he's not wrong, but that felt stretched haha.
To be fair, when your job is to talk constantly, and you have to make it up on the spot, you’re gonna say some silly things.
Yeah there was a whole lot of nothing there to say "it measures sun intensity"
Not just that, but some of the people you have to work with are not Tech-savvy... and it slips out in normal speal.
@@wobblysauce you make a good point
Cleetus McFarland... secretly teaching dudes in their twenties how to be home owners by using a racetrack...
While being idle for the most part and not being used as a venue kinda sucks for profit, it may be a blessing in disguise. Not having to work around a venue schedule cleet can get all this groundwork done before tons of fans show up.
I agree he is building soo much hype with all the videos fixing up the place. . . that place will fill up FAST once they're able to. Makes me wish I didn't live on the opposite side of the country. :(
@@JeepinJake91 makes me wish I didn't live in the opposite side of the world
Pretty crazy that Cleetus has been able to pull all of this off and he is only 15 years old. Incredible young man.
Pff I'm 14 and my 7 year old nephew has a track twice this size.
@@HondAcura111 Damn. That's crazy.
Glass Hafful congrats 🎉
Glass Hafful pfft I’m 12 and my 6 year old niece has a track 4 times this size.
@@hondrta Super impressive. Sounds like you guys are going places.
Is it bad that I felt worse about the grass than I did Cleetus tapping the wall earlier this week?
We all have a little Hank Hill in our blood.
Fixing grass is one of the most difficult things in the world 😂
I love having an taking care of the yard or the land , from a small yard to thousands of acres.
Cleetus 2019: "I just wanna go fast, make a lot of noise, and break stuff"
Cleetus 2020: "DANG KIDS GET OFF MY LAWN!!"
Alan the lawn care nut is awesome, I have been watching his channel since I bought my first home with a
.30 acre lot. I didn't realize until I heard him mention the freedom factory in one of his videos that he was the one who originally helped you. He's a great guy and knows his grass. You're a fortunate guy to have him near you to help you with the lawn.
Mans used to be worried about what beer was in his hand to worrying about keeping his race track dry. Time flies.
And priorities change...
That usually happens when you get famous with money
Can’t wait to see the Freedom Factory filled with fans. Only a matter of time right?
November
Cleetus last year: "WE RAN 7'S!!!"
Cleetus this year: "SpRinKlerS"
YEE YEE
This didn’t age well lmao
The lawn care nut has really done so much for ol' cleet! And the man who came and explained the new system came across really really well on camera. Great video and great people
I can't wait till the Freedom Factory opens I'm definitely going
Open house for cleetus and cars this month I’m going; correction open house is November, Fl2k is coming up tho
Just started building a 69 f100 hopefully I’ll make it to a cleetus and cars next year with it I doubt I’ll get it done by November
Hellyes
My words exactly. Hell yeah
My broke ass spending all my money on car parts, no way I'd get there from California 😂
Ronnie hadn't even come to a complete stop yet and we hear, "SORRY!!!"
Awesome to see the sprinkler system has been completely redone! this is another great upgrade. Don't worry too much about the heads breaking off, they are easy to replace and are relatively cheap. Aluminium bleachers, hell yeah brother! I can't wait until this pandemic is over and the freedom factory is open to public!
They plan to have the Freedom Factory open to the public (with limited seating) on November 14th, for the 2.4 Hours of LeMullets event.
Who else are taking their family on a trip to the freedom factory like it's Walt Disney when they open?
They're close enough you can do both.
*YES*
I'm only 30 minutes away....but about an hour from disney.....I'll stick with FF. lol
🙋♂️
The Freedom Factory will be an awesome road trip from Texas. Can't wait. 👍
12" of Freedom....Can I get a "That's what she said"?
you really think you can go all day?
Joe Bauers always left me feeling satisfied
Cleetus: As you can tell, this drain is almost done
Me: ....
that just looks like a hole...
I run an irrigation company for a living and they could’ve done a way cleaner job if they had plowed all the lines instead of trenching
I hope the original owner is watching this I'm sure it would feel great knowing it's no longer abandoned and has a totally new life.
They found one of the original owners and had him out for a walk through. Shared lots of cool history, like the FF and the drag strip were all one place when originally built.
@@chrischamberlin8845 i remember that but the freedom factory has come so far since then they're speedrunning this thing 😆
I'm sure he is watching. And I bet he's happy with how things are going. Cleet is breathing new life into this place, and it's awesome.
Derpy McDerpster and I’m pretty sure he struggles to understand how the crazy modern world allows for much financial power can be funneled into to the track without a single having ever been at the track
Claus Madsen a great point. He was probably convinced they’re laundering money for a cartel until someone explained it 😂
You know you’re getting old when sprinklers/irrigation stuff get you fired up 😂😭
More time for maintenance and rippin'.
Came for the burnouts and drifting, stayed for the lawn care tips!! Love ya work Cleetus.
Cleeter giving me real dad vibes being so excited about sprinklers. Maybe you should add it in in the waiver.
Soon as he hits the grass you hear him yell SORRY xD
RIP lake FF we hardly knew you 🥺😭 2020-2020
@ChrisHallett83 Well, that put some funny pictures in my mind... I know it is technically impossible to dry hump a lake, but still...
...And now I need something to fish my mind out of the gutter... :D
Lake FF had its use... maybe if they had a cover over it so they can still fill it up for tyre cooldowns.
Its just not the same boys 😭
Hey cleeter I'm a mechanic at the local Sarasota SunBelt rentals. Thank you for enjoying our equipment!
Hell yeah Ronnie is back! He's such a legend and is probably the most freedom loving guy anyone can ever meet.
You know you’ve reached adult status when you start calling out people for ruining your lawn 😂
Omg, I just watched a 20 minute ad for Toro didn’t I?
But damn if it wasn't informative and entertaining
🤣
Toro is good stuff!
🤣
Glad to see your following up the process with drains and sprinklers. Shows the people that supplied all the donations you appreciate the effort.
I can't be the only one that openly yelled "Oh, damnit Ronnie" the instant that grass flew.
“I don’t think they had the technology in the 70’s to be able to know where best to put drains”
*Proceeds to turn on a hose*
Yup path of least resistance doesn’t really change
I think he was referring to laser levels and the height out near the edge of the concrete and knowing what part of the land was low or high in relation to the other parts. I imagine the technology existed ( although different than today ) but maybe it was cost prohibitive to use it except for multimillion dollar projects.
Also over the years, the layouts change things get added and removed and the drains were not on the list of things to fix up.
Uh.... we put 2 men on the moon in 1969... I seriously doubt that drainage was anything close to being a mysterious thing to understand in the 1970's.
@@batsonelectronics The old way is to fill a long hose with water and compare the water levels at each end. Pairing that with a string line.
We need a "Get off my lawn" shirt.
He has, that funny Merch drop. ‘On the Gas, off the Grass’ !
Just got mine last week!! 👍👍
"Stay off the grass" with a giraffe image
My “on the gas, off the grass” shirt should be here today, or Monday. So excited for it. Hell yeah brother.
I hope they put some clean stone around the french drain, like theyre supposed to. They will get clogged with mud pretty soon if not.
57s are what i like to use
You are lucky to have Allen Hane the lawn care nut close by. He is awesome with his work!
Also, Alec is a great contribution to the Freedom Factory, he is a hard worker. I can tell he is listening to the Toro guy for every detail of the new sprinkler system. He seems like model employee and a great friend! Awesome track, can’t wait to experience it personally.
Can't imagne how much money you're putting into that factory!! I wish i save up enough money to visit it some day!! That's my dream! Greetings from Denmark !
Did Alan get you in contact with his buddy the Minnesota Millennial Farmer?? He races dirt track and wants to be in your next FF race.
I wonder how wel Zach would do. It's no dirt track but I feel he'd bring the best circle track experience. And damn would that be a mashup
And call Vice grips garage...
He's got a mint ol dirt track car which would be cool to see top the FF
The Crown Vic race? That would be neat, he seems to be an ok driver, too. Let's all hope it's possible for the gang to arrange anything before 2030, lol.
Oh yeah huh. When he was up there doin his Dad's yard. This will be a cool thing. It's not dirt, but it'll be pretty interesting. I just hope Zack stays off the grass.
Man I want this collab so bad!
It’s cool to see you guys helping out the workers and working on it yourselves.
Hey Cleeter, if you need a quick and affordable way to get Internet from one side of the track to the other for the irrigation system, have a look at the AirMAX and AirFiber product lines from Ubiquiti Inc. They are wireless units, just need line of sight. Range won't be a problem. The simplest setup is a matched pair at either end pointed at each other, but if you think you'll need more intertubes elsewhere, you could go with a point to multipoint setup with a single "broadcast" radio at the office/wherever the customer demarcation is to all the other buildings. The alternative is burying fiber and I don't think I gotta emphasize too much that is many times more expensive.
I've also had good experiences with Ubiquiti gear, with outdoor installs over many years. For an idea of how a racetrack installation can work, you can watch Crosstalk Solution's video: czcams.com/video/6m00f9c2CUM/video.html
@@Joel_E Chris from Crosstalk Solutions would be an excellent person to talk to/possible collab with, though I think he's pretty far from Florida as the bird flies.
Actually, it just occurred to me, JayzTwoCents is a Corvette guy, I don't think you'd need to twist his arm too hard to get him down to the Freedom Factory 😂
I'm happy to hear that Freedom Factory won't be "That Guy" running sprinklers in the rain.
Idk why but every time I watch Cleetus, I wanna go catch a bass
And chew some skoal
And drink coors light with the bro’s
kris kamp buckskins brotha! The lights are for the young and feeble lol
every single time you post your story its an inspiration to so many people out here and I can't thank you enough for allowing us to be part of your journey through this life
I was just thinking about the Lawn Care Nut yesterday. I love how this FF project brings people together.
"12 inches of freedom". That's what she said.
when your mother went horse riding
Ronnie Renner is one of the most down to earth OG’s. Freestyle / Dirtbike legend 💯
It just keeps getting better! Thanks for sharing! Take care and God bless you all.
It's great to see you guys taking this track to the next level...should have been done many years ago
Perfect timing I just got finished with my job and am sitting here at work with nothing to do
Me too 👍🏻
Garrett: You need to invite Matt from Toro to come back with his son.
Are you Matt from Toro's son?
@@Traxnrax Legit reasoning, but it's probably Jake, from StateFarm.
A Disney ride came to mind while watching this, The Carousel of Progress. Brings me happy feelings 😊 seeing how much love and dedication is put into everything you do.
Finally we will get to see full drift without issues and no water interference lol can't wait to see the track looks perfect
"Canopy of the turf"
That is a set of words that I never expected, lol.
* checks dictionary for possible translations * Well, if you use it in the "official" way, it makes sense, as it describes the top layer of the grass.
But if you go the "inofficial" route, it can get funny...
That mustang loading was almost epic. Love the thought process though.
As a shallow well driller, who does irrigation, that’s a smart ideas to run a 2” main to service the system in the center.
That’s a helluva long bore under the track...
And that irrigation system is sweet! Nothing better that not having to walk to the controller or have two people to go through it....
Good Job!!!
Glad to see progress on the freedom factory. Such a cool place and all the things you will just make it better.
13:42 man really said beautiful grey plastic
Then the clip cuts right after. You know Cleet couldn’t hold it together and started laughing. Still nice enough to edit that out and only let the guy have part of the embarrassment.
You know, there seem to be quite a few people out there thinking grey is a beautiful color...
Welcome to listening to Sales Reps.
Yeah so that it definitely is a sales rep he does not realize that none of those ditches has been tamped so as soon as a car goes across them it's not going to be pretty those sprinkler heads are not supposed to sink either. 15 years experience irrigation installation college athletic fields.
Who doesn't like watching a good size hole being drilled.. 😄
People should be proud of their accomplishments. Cleetus is Proud and so am I.
This video is proof positive of what makes this channel so darn special...it's s the host's genuine personality and overall awesomness. I'd watch this guy grow grass!
New drinking game
Take a shot every time Cleetus says “fire me up”
Do you want to kill us all?!
We will all be face down half way thru " FIRE ME UP" LOL
DO NOT DO THIS you will die
it's a gross catchphrase, wish he'd stop
Never been so early!!! Hell Yeah Brother!!!
This is honestly more entertaining than watching drifting.. so much knowledge was just spread throughout the world in the last 20 minutes. Keeping America’s lawns green with one view at a time 🤙🏻
I did concrete drilling once. I give those guys and gals much respect for their work.
Make the first ever FD speck sxs. Lowered, angle kit, hydro and some nittos skiddy bois 👌
Cleetus has reached dad levels of lawn care
I've been following both you and Allyn for a minute. I love seeing you both in one video! CZcams is magical man...
When this group of guys bought this race track and pointed out the signs saying no Social Media Recording and how that destroyed the track and they would allow filming I knew they would do good here. I am so glad to see them updating the track and bringing it from the mid 20th century to the mid 21st Century. This track like alot of others was 70yrs behind....You all rock and are doing things great and properly. Keep up the good work.
Thats the biggest whole SAW I ever done SAW
Core drill
Stop
I done SAW what you did there !
Good thing it was a whole saw, otherwise they would end up with a partial hole.
Dawid Cyrta 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ .... joke police 🚔... stop where you are!
They should put in 6” rotors so they can Install them 2” under the grass. Yes they will pop up through the grass. By doing this it should save the sprinkler heads when someone decides to drive off the track. I would recommend hunter 6” I20
Then they could run into the problem of having dirt ruining the seals on the rotor as well and then they just stick up anyway. I just hope they at least put the rotors on a swing pipe or swing joint so when someone does hit it they arent breaking the pvc line as well.
You can’t do that with St Augustine. The grass will eventually completely grow over it.
That grass is savage. Nothing stands in its way.
Don’t worry, they’ll get wrecked in a few weeks.
Dirt wont get into the seals ive been doing this for 10 years and have done alot of horse tracks and horse jumping arenas in marion county. I can promise you they did not use swings joints. But if they used flex itll be ok. And yes most likely itll still get damaged. Hopefully cleet knows where the shut of valve is. Cause once they hit that valve box water is going everywhere.
Never thought I’d be as interested about lawn irrigation as this!
I was devo'd when I saw the grass get ripped up! Then I saw Allan there and big relief!!
You're building quite an enterprise there. Congrats and good job! Much success. I'll be able to say I was a fan back when Cletus and company hadn't even bought NASCAR yet.
Give it another 20 years and the giraffe will be President.
@@richardharrold9736 yep!
You guys should def line up a SXS race series at the FF. Combo heats, dirt track and the infield loop. Call the SXSBlog guys and make it happen. Upvote so they see this!
I used to be maintenance at a high end apartment complex 20 years ago and we had a rain bird system that was remote control it was coolest thing I've ever seen at the time it saved so much time from going back into from control center.
These are great community business videos. Gives me hope for our country!

Hope one day To visit this peace of haven on earth “ Hell yeah brother “ 🚗 🚘
Putting time and effort. Into your little slice of Freedom. Awesome. 👍🤟🌄
Love seeing the progress with the FF all the time. What am adventure. Thanks Cletus
If you think about it, the machine that they were using to cut into the grass is basically a giant chainsaw
Yep basically ran one for 2 months at my last job and let me tell you doing tile and plumbing is not the most thing in the world
Ain’t a French drain in the Freedom Factory. That a Merican Drain damnit!
I can't wait to go to the Freedom Factory in the future when its up and running at full capacity. Knowing how much went into the renovations and being along for the whole ride is only going to make the experience that much more special.
I love FF videos so much, thanks cleetus for giving us plenty of entertainment
When cars are hitting the dirt . Sprinkler heads are gunna be busting off . Hopefully the sprinkler system has a valve to shut off when unwanted drop in water pressure happens :)
When are you gonna get rid of those awful wheels on the galaxie? Been bugging me since you got the thing, theyre not even straight and balanced 😂
LOL!! I just wrote the same thing before I started reading the comments left LOL!! That's funny
They add to the car's charm. They gotta keep those crappy things on it.
Dont they weigh a ton too?
Think he said they've got new ones laying around for it. They might do it for its next big race. For fooling around with it I guess it adds a bit of charm tho. But certainly, they're kinda annoying. Would rather see some proper ones!
I personally love them! The car is not perfect and they just match! Plus on his list of things to do which is probably a mile and a half long, they're probably number 1,258.
Love seeing the track get better, it's going to be sweet once people can come and see the freedom!
Irrigation is my job, loved the project. Not the products I use, but still a good system. Everything nowadays runs on your phone. Love the channel.
Love CARS!
Hell yeah it’s about time we got some renovating the freedom factory videos back!
Anyone that goes off track and damages the grass should have to immediately stop, put on a giraffe outfit and wear it the rest of the day.
Even Cletus would end up in it eventually
Or a helmet with a giraffe on top of it
I would f*ck up that grass on purpose then chase everyone around all day.
Cleetus doesn't need the outfit 🤣🤣 walks around in a permanent giraffe suit
Total dad entertainment! Watching dudes doin yard work!
I just met you here in KY at mustang nationals, I was the first guy to take a pic with you dude. Thanks for taking time out of your day for me! Means a lot brother
"..Below the frost line.."
When tf does it frost near Tampa?! I went to Fort Meyers in February and it was 85 degrees lol
That's what the mean by below the frost line.
You dont think the line he is referring to is the line on a thermometer, do you?
