This is pretty amazing. With Dan as the hand it's Ryan trying to give piece that Dan will be able to underarms the next move for. With Ryan as the hand it will be Ryan trying to make the best move out of a forced piece limitation. I think Ryannas the hand will be even more entertaining seeing him squirm at not being able to play the best moves.

It still seems like black is winning, but does that give white enough of a fighting chance? Or does black just retreat the rook (that captures on move 28) on move 29 and leave things in basically the same place but with white down a rook on top of everything else? It at least avoids the mate in 2, but I'm not good enough at chess to evaluate things past that.
white bishop can still block it but black is better in material

@@thejimmymeister It doesn't quite work because after Bxf1, Rd2, Bd3, e2 and bishop has to take e2 then Rxc2 and black is much better.
Then the second ("otherwise") line something similar happens after Kh2 I think just Rd2 again and same thing
So it's just delaying the inevitable at that point (barring any huge blunders). I wondered if that might be the case. Thanks!

I think when you are just starting out it makes much bigger adjustments because the default elo it assigned you is likely incorrect
