My understanding of each language =
Portuguese (99%- I'm Brazilian and it's obvious that I understand Portuguese, but European Portuguese puts a comma in my understanding ...)
Spanish( 90%- I understand better because I live near the border between Brazil and Uruguay and I was born listening to Spanish.)
Italian(40%-There are several words similar to Portuguese words, but I can't understand Italian either in writing or speaking. )
French(10%-There is no doubt that there are many words similar to Portuguese, but the pronunciation of French is very complicated and there are many homophones, which makes learning even more difficult. In addition, French is a wonderful and very fenty language.)
Romanian(5%- It is undoubtedly that this is the most complicated language among the Romance languages, as it is the only one that has grammatical cases and the pronunciation can be treacherous.)
It follows that all these languages are perfect and incredible, each one has its charm, that was my opinion on the video and undoubtedly, there will be people with different points of view.

Let's just all agree that the spoken language is more difficult to understand than the written language. While you don't understand Romanian by ear, when you see it written I can guarantee you will recognize a lot of words (especially if you're versed in Latin, Italian and/or Spanish) and even be able to make sense of full sentences just by deducing what 2-3 words mean. I don't speak Italian, never tried to learn it, but as a Romanian, I've understood almost every word you've written (apart from maybe 2 or 3), simply because they are so familiar to my Romanian eyes.

Puede que el spañol hablado no esté en primer lugar, pero si hablamos de mpusica, es el que mejor suena.Por algo es el idioma romance que tiene más canciones internacionales.
Spoken Spanish may not be at the top, but when it comes to music, this is the best sounding romance language. That's why out of all romance languages, Spanish is the one that has the most songs that are known (and liked) all over the world.

As a native Spanish speaker, I find Romanian almost incomprehensible. I get a word here and there, but most of the time I have no idea what they're saying. I have studied Portuguese, Italian, and French. Italian I can understand almost 100%. Portuguese from Portugal is a bit harder to follow than Brazilian Portuguese, but I understand it anyway. French, on the other hand, is a bit trickier I find, because of the pronunciation. Going back to Romanian, the fact that I've never studied Romanian might be a factor in why I can't understand it. However, I was able to understand a decent amount of Portuguese and Italian even when I was a child, when I hadn't yet studied those languages. I think Romanian has been isolated from the other Romance languages for too long, and developed in a different way, whereas there has been a lot of interaction among the other Romance languages, which has helped them to develop in a way that has kept them closer to one another.

I've just recently listened to a comparison of both, and the Brasilian Portuguese is a lot easier to understand, it has a slower cadence and is a lot more melodic sounding, sometimes I think it is similar in pronouncing some words with some American accents (weirdly enough), but Portugal Portuguese sounds more 'European', I suppose, and a lot more organic.
