Hi TA, im a long time viewer but rare poster. Just want to say that you are the finest WoWs YT and about my favourite YT completely. I am at a loss to understand why you dont get the view numbers your research and production quality deserves but it can only be the fickle nature of algorithms or the player base themselves. Please be assured that those who know your work, love your work.
Thanks, Carl. In the big picture, there's a certain element of "you get out of it what you put into it." For CZcams, it's more a question of hours of content rather than hours of research and editing work, but that's fine. As I said on the Back to Port podcast, I'm just happy anyone watches the stuff I make, and comments and appreciation I get are compensation enough. 🙂

Tactic, I really appreciate you using the F2P captains. While I have a bunch of the cartoon CCs, many people may not.
But just once (or twice) could you do a review of a ship with the cartoon CCs (after the usual F2P CCs, of course)? Just a thought to help us old timers to decide if we actually want a ship.

I think putting AL Baltimore or Clara N. Teslau as one of your inspirations can help with Ägir and Siegfried’s agility problems. It could work if you have steering gears mod. 2 on the 2nd module slot.
There’s allot of very fine content makers for WoW legends but I enjoy yours by far the most. Thank you for another great video, very very informative and entertaining at the same time 😁

Another excellent vid as usual Tactic 👍 Also this absolutely isn’t meant as a correction in any way, I just wanted to mention this in case anyone was wondering. If the numbers shown in the Defensive AA consumable’s stat page are correct, it will actually triple your average AA damage instead of doubling it, as it says “+” 200%, not just 200% (or +100%). Hopefully that makes sense and I didn’t just make it more confusing lol. Of course it may not actually work that way in game but like I said, the stat of +200% should mean that it’s tripled. 🤷♂️😂
You're mathematically right according to on the presentation. I just know that when WG has described DFAA they say it's doubles the AA damage, and they said recently that the +400% that Charles F Hughes gives you quadruples your AA (rather than quintuples). So... I don't know... I can't tell what the actual DPM is.

I really love this ship. I recognise that there are better ships at this tier but I still love it
Ägir is one of my favorites at tier VIII. It's a great ship of you don't get impatient.

Once again I humbly submit my suggestion that you do a deeper dive into the meta.
Yes F2P players might not have every made-up commander but they still have to fight AGAINST them and it would be nice to know the meta.

What do you mean by meta analysis? I think part of the problem may be that I only have the historic (and Pan-American) commanders, so I may be at a disadvantage to doing that.
There's 2 more builds I know personally that might be interesting
1. That Warhammer guy with kraken shells, absolutely nutty pen on the guns

Seems that I may try and get this boat this time around, based on this review and other CC reviews. Great overview and battle.
Also, now that Atlantico has the proper commander for it, is it worth the $70 to even get, or is a sale recommended?
It's always hard to say because $70 can mean a lot more or a lot less to each person. It's certainly more effective and more of a meme ship with the new commander and that's all down to the secondaries just working a little better and at a lot longer ranges. It's still not a wildly effective ship, it's definitely more funny, it's still well protected, it's secondaries still get taken out all-too-easily, and it's slow while giving you little to do consumable or armament-wise.

I do not have Reigenwald, so I have not tried Ägir with him... or really even understand what he does, to be honest. 🤔

i like the oClass Design but to be honest the P-Class Design (Bigger Graf SPee) is surely a note Worth i say. Also i tend to like my AL Graf Spee as Commander on German Cruiser
I'm sure it's just a matter of time before we get the Schill. I think the P-Klasse would be much better to talk about there.

Is Siegfried better tier for tier?
I would say Ägir is better tier-for-tier. Siegfried probably had an easier time citadelling battleships, but Ägir is much more consistent against all targets.
How does Augustin Riegerwald perform on Ägir? That is also another cruiser commander you can test out.
Siegfried still better than agir for guns
Oh yeah and Siegfried guns can hurt at long range and overal tier. 6-7-8 Siegfried fits those tiers fight best
@@tacticangelgod I just love my Agir she holds my all time dmg record of 199k and was my first kraken, she is a beast against all cruisers and can take down battleships in the right circumstances (out right destroys them in close range brawls when you can get a broadside on them, got 5 citadels out of 6 shells on a broadside Yammy). I run Al Graf Spee for range, stealth, ap dmg and pen, and accuracy. Inspirations I run with Mikawa for more stealth and Yamamoto to increase the ap pen to help kill battleships
If only WG would give us historic commander guises so you could enjoy the cartoon commanders lol fingers crossed for future streams!

Not sure about Historic Guises... it wouldn't really help in my case, but I'd just prefer they made historic commander parity.
