    100% agreed I would have rather had a 15” fast battleship/battle cruiser version of this hull. Collingwood’s strengths don’t seem to outnumber its weaknesses, especially in a world where Nelson already exists.

      It would have been much better as an actual F3 battlecruiser, but I know why it is as it is. The problem is the PC ship really has no place in Legends, and, well, there it is. If it were simply a matter of putting another RN premium BB out there to make a few bucks we would have been better off with Renown at T5.

    As always, fantastic review and I love your tone and sense of humor in all of your videos. Would love to see some “Drinking and Sinking” when you have the time for it! Your CZcams channel was the thing that made me and my friends to start playing World of Warship legends and your reviews have guided my purchases ever since! Keep up the great work!

    Nice review, I think I'll remain content with Nelson. Maybe if this was at T5, then I'd be interested.

      I can't imagine what it would be like to have 16 1/2 inch guns at tier 5--Mutsu already has some overpen issues there--but I'm willing to take that for a test drive. 😎
      Otherwise totally agree, Nelson is more fun than this ship.

    Hey Tactic, I noticed you mentioned improved AP angles when talking about the North Carolina's AP. The USN battleships don't have improved angles, Just heavy shells.

      Well now I have to delete the video... or leave it up with the one or more mistakes that are normal. 😄 Anyway, NC ignores all the green armor. Still a threat from any angle.

    You’re being far to modest, your gunnery was good considering the dispersion. Excellent detailed review as always

      You may be right, but somehow I always feel like a bad shot. 🙂

    This thing exist just to sell more Nelsons, the fact that the former was at -30% the moment Collingwood was introduced is not a surprise
    Btw i have a question on Maine, is it a true design ? I couldn't find a blueprint of it, i did find some quadruple and double turrets designs for Montana but not in the layout we have

    • @tacticangel
      @tacticangel  Před rokem +1

      I'd have to look more thoroughly into Maine. I think the general answer is "no," but I do seem to remember there was a mixed turret arrangement with 10 guns in the designs leading up to Montana, but I think it was 3-2-2-3 arrangement rather than a 2-3-3-2 arrangement.
