- Meet Gertrude! After almost 5 years of wanting a pet pig, Sarah's dream finally came true! Here's what we did to prep for Gerdie and what it was like bringing her home.
Aww.. i have a almost 4 month old mini potbelly pig, i wanted one for a long long time too, and it was really by chance that i got him.. i loved seeing how happy getting that baby made you!!🐷😄

Good luck! I own a mini pig as well it's a really fun time. Just remember a pig is a pig and there are gonna be challenges but as long as you're doing everything right it'll be amazing good luck! ❤❤

Wahooo!! You must be pumped. If I could give you any advice, the things that come to mind are: make sure you spend Quality Time with your pig every day. This will really affect their behaviour in a good way. Also, everything has to be bLck and white...very clear and no maybes. Pigs are very smart and manipulative, so they’ll figure out how to get what they want. ☺️ Give them a good diet with veggies and their pellets, and make sure they have time to run outside each day. Yay! So excited you’re getting a mini pig. Get ready to have fun and get snuggles in the evenings. Wahooo

Ha well there are different breeds of pigs, but Gerdie is a “mini” pig, just meaning that she won’t get up to a regular sized pot belly pig. She’s much smaller.
The TBO'S I’m sorry but mini pig is not a actual breed nore do they stay that small. I raise and own pigs the smallest breed is the kunekune pig. Google it if u don’t believe me. NO SUCH THING AS A MINI PIG! y’all honestly can’t believe everything some try’s to sell u watch that pig will get up to 60lbs or 100 depending on what was actually breed in her line. She could get up to a couple hundred lbs. please stop falling into the ignorant city life. Google it no such thing as a mini pig 🤦🏻♀️

Hey. Try and find a breeder for micro pot belly pigs around where you live. Make sure you go check them out before you purchase your pig as you want to make sure they’re actually micro pigs, not regular size bigs. Gerdie is about 50lbs now and won’t get much bigger.
Yeah, we always tell people to adopt if size is a concern because so many breeders will promise you a size but there is almost nothing that you can do if they lie. Plus, even if the parents are smaller pigs, it doesn't ensure that your pig won't be much larger.
They can grow up to the hight of a adult miny pig
