Norman I have learned responds well to hand signals, so I started off with the toy in front of him I would point and say clean up , he would push and root it, I just reappeared over and over then one time he tried to pick up I praised him and gave him Cheerio Then it clicked! He knew to pick it up. I got the puzzle on eBay the brand is small world. Once he learned to pick things up he puzzle wasn't to difficult he would pick up the shapes, I then would point to the place it should go until he understood. Hope this helps

Do I just start teaching her a little bit at a time? Any advice would be awesome! What treats do you give him?
We use Cheerios, yes a little at a time and just be consistent
How many weeks/months did it take to train him that well?
I would say several months work 2 nights a week
