I got into a school in England but I'm taking this year off to re-apply to schools I'm really passionate about (like NYU) and this video REALLY helped me. As someone who was hyper focused on the numbers the first time around, I'm definitely going to be putting more effort into showing my individuality.

hi! just a heads up for anyone looking into transferring- i called the admissions office and was told that you SHOULD send in your AP scores, even if they're not all 4's or 5's :)
wait would it worsen our chance if the ap scores werent 3s? should i just not send those ones in and only the 3’s and higher ?

Maria Da Rocha that’s a really good question and tbh I am not sure. I’m no admissions person. I would guess college would be slightly more given they can see how you have done in a college environment but idk for sure

I was wondering if it's necessary to include your academic achievements and your extracurricular activities in the personal statement
Jariatou Hydara I would so no because they can see that on the other part of your app where u list these. The personal statement should be just that - personal, making you stand out as a person not a list of achievements. Let them see what a special person you are through that part of the app 😊

What extra curricula you did ????
I play the cello so must of my extracurriculars were around that, but I don't think which you do matters so much as you do something that is true to your passions and showing who you are as an individual
