  • Hi friends, today I'm talking about my experience in after adopting my rescue dog a year ago and living with him in new york city! NYC is an interesting place to have a dog with lots of pros and cons but overall I want to share why I've found it to be a great experience. I have one dog, about to have 2 and I'm moving to NYC in the next few months! I've lived in Jersey City with my current dog but looking to move to the UES with both :)

What do you do about his bathroom needs at night 🌙?

Is your pup a Jack Russell mix? I am considering moving my Jack Russell terrier to NYC and he’s so high energy and I’m concerned about him not having enough open spaces to run.

Yes he is a JRT mix! Mine is very high energy too. It can be challenging at times but I find all the stimulation helps to tire him out- so many smells and places to explore. He never gets bored here! Vs when I visit family in the suburbs he gets bored so fast. There’s also tons of dog parks for off leash time.
