Paige Aww! That means so much! Thank you :) I promise the bar isn’t that high, myself and a lot of other filmmakers were really surprised we got in because of some of the stuff on here. Try to remember a lot of accepted applications don’t get posted online, and a lot of the ones that do end up being pretty fancy haha. I hope your application goes well!
Gosh I'm so nervous to submit my application as an internal transfer. It was so nice to see a normal human being submit a nice little video and get in without making a cinematic classic. I love you.

i've watched many of these nyu yourselfies, and I gotta admit, your's is one of my favourites. it's simple, straight to the point, memorable (I literally recognise u as "girl with mushroom hat" so good job on that!), funny, and still manages to tell us about you and your personality. i definitely see why you got accepted, so congrats!!

If I may ask, what was your high school average and SAT scores? I'm also a Canadian and I'm curious on how they'll review my high school transcript considering we base our marks off of percentage.
Darrel Adedayo Hey there! I didn’t actually submit my SAT scores as part of my application because this program is one of the few at NYU that doesn’t make submitting it mandatory. My average was in the mid/high 90’s, but I applied primarily with my IB (International Baccalaureate) marks, which is an international program that is also recognized in the states. I had a predicted 42 points out of 45, if that helps at all? Lemme know if you have any other questions :)
