It's criminal that Mohini Dey has no real exposure outside India. Technically one of the best I've heard, male or female and easily on a par or even surpassing Tal Wilkenfeld
Steve Vai - "Bop" track 2016, Mohini is guest Bass player, cannot find video, only audio is available, video is exclusively licensed to Sony Music though, which is probably why...the actual track is classic Steve Vai and totally suited to the vibe/style of Mohini.
Btw, she's been playing with Guthrie Govan for bit now.
Yes, it is so awesome. I intake every clip I can find. She sounds like a cross between Victor Wooden and Chris Squire on the track.

The audio quality isn’t bad, just the mix needs to be better, Shaw needs more volume.
This is a nice set by Mr. Shaw. Miss Dey is killing the bass line, my fingers reminds me of grooves from Stanley Clarke's Journey to love album. I get what people are saying about exposure but I'm sure her father and bass circle has her back. also share her vids that may help?!

I think people are using their phones to capture these performances so they can go home and dissect what they've seen and heard especially if they are aspiring musicians themselves.
