- The Touring Arese RH95 is the latest car to be launched by Touring Superleggera in Milan and had its world premiere at Salon Prive 2021. It uses the Ferrari 488GTB as its donor car and has up to 720ps in Pista spec, giving it wild performance to match its exotic looks.

MG TF CONFIRMED
🤣
No, no, definitely a Toyota Previa
What? Not a Pontiac Fiero?
I think it’s a Ferrari 488 lol
@@TheArfdog defo!))
Imagine being that well connected that not only do you get to review a 18 only build car but the day BEFORE its international release.
Yep. Imagine an accident through no fault of your own
Where do they put the number plate!
Ever the gentleman, Harry never once dropped the F bomb
I see what you did there ;)
Only the Roma... 😍
He did in the video description. lol
The steering wheel is a dead give away 😜
Haha, its so difficult to keep a straight face without giving away the fact the donor car came from modena
Amazing what Touring has done with a Fiat Doblò.
*multipla
🤣
Thank you, was wondering what its underpinnings were.
🤣🤣🤣
It's based on the Doblo 1.3 JTD Scuderia

Yup Bob I agree 👍
doug demuro in my opinion
Harry flirting outrageously with his NDA. What a pro! 😁
They stood back and admired their finished product , until the bloke came in with the number plates.
Only in UK. Civilized places don't need plates, but can be painted on the side as well.
It doesn’t look too bad with the Italian plates but our style less ones would look dreadful
@Stijn 3 As Oscar Wilde said, “America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between.”
@Tim Rombouts Decadence is paid for by the poor.
One day, when I can afford a proper VOLVO 240 Turbo, my personal numberplate will be IXLR8.
When Harry first closed the driver’s door, the clunk that it made spoke volumes for the outstanding quality of its engineering.
Lmfao at the close up on Ferrari 488 GTB on the dash, naughty Harry
@Simeon Walker no because they technically don’t have permission to build the car. Private customers have to donate a Pista in order to get the car built. In other words it’s not being supplied directly from the manufacturer.
@Simeon Walker the whole car looks like an overpriced ornament designed to take advantage of those with more money that taste. Others will buy the original product.
@Simeon Walker seriously, if i were one of the lucky clients to afford and spec out one of these, the last thing I'd want is to be reminded every time i get in that it's the same underneath as my 13 other Ferraris.
I don't think you needed to see the name to know which car this is built around.
@@426baron I think you’ve missed the point!
An improvement on the donor car, especially the interior. The details of the body work are incredible. Very interesting, Harry. Thank you for bringing it to us!
I’m an American, so every time I watch one of Harry’s videos I feel I need to dress a little better and for some reason have tea 🫖 and crumpets mmm, gotta love Harry’s Garage channel 👍🏻
Harry AFAIK is more of a self-made gent, tbh - check out the likes of Jacob Rees-Mogg for evidence of how ridiculous some of our genuinely posh people are
Gotta love a nice bit of crumpet in your day.
@@macman6107 : Indeed 😋
What a nice Elise derivative. And they even made the 4 cylinder look like a V8. Respect. :-)
wrong donor thats obviously a ferrari v8 , lotus hasn't used a v8 since the esprit v8 old chap .
@@dominicdraughn3578 i think you missed the joke...
"It's better than Roma... Oh, I've given it away. How did I manage to do that? 🤔" 😂 Do not change, Harry... I love your sense of humor and encryption lol
Just in case someone reads this comment before watching the video and gets confused like I did, the donor car isn't a roma. Harry actually say he gave the manufacturer away.
@@Harpreet06 its Ferrari 488 GTB
Can’t mention the donor manufacturer….leave their name all over the graphics on the dash screen. 👌🏻
😆😆😆
That would probably be a little more difficult than building a custom shell
And in the very title of the video...
I absolutely love that Disco. Just beautiful styling and glorious sound.
Someone needs to do a bit of firmware reprogramming on that dashboard display.
Yeah that looks terrible... I wonder if maybe Ferrari didn't give them permission to mess with the software.
@@diegoleo7 Forget the software; it’s pretty clear they don’t even have permission to build the car (which explains the secrecy, which is for legal reasons, not marketing). The donor cars are acquired privately.
@@xxxDeaDLocKxxx excellent point. Just realized that myself.
@@xxxDeaDLocKxxx yeah this is why Ferrari sucks lol
thank goodness zagato and pininfarina quit working with them
@@xxxDeaDLocKxxx That's clear, but since this whole thing is just a big "private deal" between the 488 owner and Superleggera I wonder if Ferrari can legally stop them from tweaking the dashboard animation
I'm so glad I came across this one. Love the design flairs from Touring, and that donor exhaust note would never get boring
That time of the week - Sunday evening and Harry's Garage
Amen! 🙏
And Retropower too
Harry is next level 👏 No one else does videos on special cars quite like him!
@Harry’s Garage: CZcams and/or device speakers don’t do justice to just how ‘vocal’ the car is - as I can testify having heard you head off after our brief conversation. Great to meet you, and thanks for sparing a few moments in your busy schedule to chat.
Amazing how they managed to repurpose those old Fiat X1/9's.
That bonnet is a piece of art on it's own, really impressive.
« Its »
Another Touring masterpiece. Very impressive.
Why is it a masterpiece? It's a rebodied Ferrari.
Lol, it isn't. It's just a Ferrari in green.
Mr.Harry is the best English teacher on the entire internet. Deeply grateful
" It's better than Roma ". Well played Harry, well played. Cheers from the Canadian Rockies l*l.
But the Roma has 8 speed doesn't it? And isn't 720 BHP. The McLaren 720S is: twin turbo V8, 720 BHP and has a 7 speed TCT. So I'm confused.
@@robsawalker its a Ferrari 488
I’m liking the Allegro beige/ brown interior, very ‘70s Instant Whip and Smash - all it needs to complete the vibe is an 8 Track
And a traffic light air freshener
I liked it too, but it desperately needed a flash of lurid danger orange!
...but which 8 track🤔 I'll pick Physical Graffiti thank you very much😎
Harry is my idol…..and this arese is an artistic masterpiece - and coupled with Ferrari’s drivetrain it’s a perfect combination of Italian mastery and performance. If only i can afford one!
Quite a coup there Harry! Congratulations and a lovely review as always of a car we may never see again on the road
A thank you to a very generous owner as well.
Fabulous car, absolutely stunning engineering and aesthetics, thank you!
Always cheers me up watching one of Harry's reviews!
Love the secrecy in the video and the explicit Ferrari 488 on the electronic dash AND in the video description. LOL
I always get so engrossed with Harry's videos that I forget to do the like.....Best on YT.
I will most likely never get to enjoy a bespoke vehicle like this one but it's fantastic to see another wonderful design from Touring. Having fallen out of live with modern cars in recent years I've often said there is no new car at any price point that could tempt me. If I had the means I think I'd would consider something from touring, be it one like this or one of there other designs. We seem to have become lost in a world of lap times and touch screen so it's refreshing to see a car that can be enjoyed just as much standing still as it can at speed. It's time we started bringing back road cars for the road rather than race cars for the road.
Careful arrangement of letters to come up with Arese. Stunning car.
It's wonderful that companies such as Touring and Pininfarina are thriving with such an amazing history behind them. I'm sure they'll sell these quickly but for this kind of budget I would look towards Pagani.
History of using tracing paper to design cars?
Not sure where you're getting Pagani's at 1M EUR, but i'll take one if you're buying any.
@@focus550 hello, you're absolutely right, but I was referring to the fact that most people that can afford 1 mill plus for a car can easily afford multiples of that.
You never know till the shekels are in your bank
Bloody Marvelous Harry . . . The car and your presentation . . . Thank you, always love watching your channel . . .
That Touring Superleggera Sciadipersia convertible at 2:04 looks gorgeous!
Great to see Italian coach builders releasing their own cars (well, mostly their own.) I may ruffle some feathers here, but I'd take this over the Battista, from that "other" great Italian design house! As usual, great stuff today Harry! Can't wait for the next one and more updates on the farm!
Though they both seem to be derivative.... This one being a bit more original with some cues from Molsheim...
@@tombittikoffer412 what is the battista derivative of?
At first I didn’t think that I would like the Arese. But having great “dare I say Ferrari” underpinnings, I have fell in love with this car! Just like when a Chevrolet van is made into a custom coach van, it takes a great product and makes it into a very luxurious Vehicle.
The owner of this car is very, very lucky, it's absolutely beautiful!
"You can probably guess the donor car by the twin turbo V8.."
It's a Fiat 500, isn't it?
No doubt on that one.
Is it a Skoda?
2 fiat 500
@@Jabber-ig3iw That would be impressive, if dodgy, engineering.

As usual, Touring making a better looking car than the car its based on. The Ferrari cues are everywhere. I love this beautiful shade of green. Thank you.
big fan of having all the signatures so large like that... really nice touch.
I always look forward to Sundays, because I know there’ll be a new Harry’s Garage.
The 488 base is too obvious I’m afraid. I salute the coachwork and craftsmanship though… if you don’t know what to do with your money then hey, why not? Good video, thanks Harry 🙏
Thought exactly the same, apart from the rear, the disco any day.
@@bcm7779 Yep, the Disco Volante is a real masterpiece… saw it at Villa d’Este a fee years back. Plain genious.
the interior is sublime. love the colour contrasting, it's kind of like a sporty Bugatti/Bentley kind of interior.
Such a beautiful design! The curves remarks the 60's designs which, in my opinion, is the best car design decade.
The donor car shall not be named . But the model appears in lights in the dash on start up 😊
A Ferrari with a side order of smoke and mirrors. 🤔
Love it.
I think that the first buyer...will be dead after the car gets out of hand......and crashes.
From the thumbnail I also thought "That green Ferrari looks nice!"
Thank you - such a treat - an early peek at a rare beast. Kudos to Harry, Touring and #1’s owner!

The colors, style, interior, and the price confirm that people have certain tastes.
That's a pretty stunning design. Not many cars these days do actually look really good but this is one of them.
Not many cars look really good?? Huh?
@@johnsmith1474 Not to this level in my opinion.
Touring does it again. My goodness, what a lovely design!
“In a world of electric washing machine-type cars”. Classic Harry!!
Beautiful, as all the Touring cars. And it looks so much better, than all of the mid engined V8, twin turbo, actual Italian cars! Interesting interior design, too. Thanks for this unexpected view on this very special car! Well done, as ever - greetings from Austria 🇦🇹!
I would have to get "powered by McLaren" badges on the engine cover just for the wind up. Beautiful car.
This is one of those rare occasions where €1,000,000 doesn't actually sound bad for a car.
What a vehicle.
I was pricing the car in my head and expected €1.5 to €2m, before Harry said it was 'only' about €1m! Absolutely stunning piece of automotive hard core porn!
Lol, 1 mil for a kit Ferrari combined with all the hassles of a niche manufacturer? I'd rather buy a 488 and a house

And if you are going to re body a sports car ,well you might as well choose a prancing horse.
Do you get all the discarded Ferrari bits thrown in for that price or do they put them up on Ebay?
They put them on Ebay for you and then you have to outbid the Ferrari owner's club

A million Euro's and it belongs to a customer, Harry must have nerves of steel to drive this on English country roads with all those scratchy Hawthorne hedge rows reaching out to the immaculate paint work!!
I can never take my eyes of the Testarossa and Countach in the background during Harry's videos.
Well, I can definitely see the appeal. Modern supercars are made in far higher numbers than they used to be, so there will certainly be a sector of buyers who like having something nobody else has, and are ready to pay for such a great privilege.
I'm not entirely sold on this particular car, but I'd definitely have a one-off made for me if I could.
Exactly. I love this trend of design houses rebodying existing cars in very limited production numbers. The looks won't be for everyone but with only 18 being built, who cares! I'd have an Aero3 over this, though, if I had €1M spare to spend..
Fully agree to Matteo's point.
beautiful proportions
The Disco Volante is exceedingly unique, a bit of a poke in the eye in some ways, but it turns out to be stunningly gorgeous, especially in that lighter bluish color that you showed.
Magnificent car! Great video!😍
When you said a rear mounted twin turbo V8 with 720 hp I was thinking a 720S until he said the door opens conventionally on the donor car and I figured out it was. Then I saw the engine.
@Maverick yeah, I posted this before that part.
I likened it to a Ferrari 296 gtb.

Fantastic to watch a full review of this car from you having just returned from Blenheim seeing it for real.
I have a lift off camper for my pick-up truck. I call that the Touring Arese. Or something similar.
So it's an F8 with a bodykit for people who think Ferrari's are too gauche.

"it feels just as refined as a normal donor car" ...very naughty from Harry
I’d be very happy with the “donor car” but if you are that wealthy I can see the desire to separate yourself from the hoi polloi
True
That’s a hilarious comment!!!
I get the feeling the "Roger" scene in Gone in 60 Seconds is probably more true today. Your bog standard 360 isn't going to get you many quality conversations at cars and coffee - but rare invitation-only and interesting-history cars probably will.
They're very neat and look good on paper. Must be hell to live with though, when it's such a niche car with literally just one small company able to service it....oh wait.

Just love it. Starting with their F12 Berlinetta Lusso, for me Touring has been evoking a golden age of elegant design. I wish them every success. The wheel treatment reminds me of Aston Martin, but that’s hardly a bad thing!
That's exactly what donor car I thought it was.
Someone said pista, or 488 ?
@@chrisman3673 This one is a V8, but the Berlinetta from a few years back was the F12.
What often amazes me about watching your videos, and this one has prompted this comment, is how trusting the manufacturers/owners of some of the cars you drive are. But moreover, how brave you are driving them 'like it was stolen'..! Were you not afraid of hitting a pothole on our dreadful - crap ! - roads in this extremely rare and expensive car or even just a stone chip ? So come on Harry, fess up, what is the most expensive car you have handed back with some damage - unintentional or otherwise ?. Great video.
I might have missed it, does Touring alter the structure at all, or is it just a skin and interior job?
From what i know, Touring changes everything except the base chassis, engine & electronics. Whats changed is everything outside and most of the interior. Its same with their other projects like Disco Volante that was an Alfa Romeo 8C.
I'm probably a low-life, but I just read the title "Touring Arse"
That name would get lots of attention!
Hi from New Zealand, Harry. Always enjoy your channel and look forward to your next review. Thank you and keep well.
What a beautiful car in a beautiful colour...
Wow they really have talented people
And people who know how to use tracing paper.
The last time I saw an interior that looked like that, Clarkson was running his head on it to get the egg out of his hair in the british leeland challenge.
That 70's BL vibe is pretty strong inside.
I knew it would as a prancing horse the minute I saw the front bonnet. Great review.
I got to say... when i first seen the thumbnail and the first part of the video i didnt like the car. Just a re badged 488. And it is but after watching further i began to respect the car and now i completely changed my mine. Love it.
